Cache has been replaced and is ready to be found. Cheers and happy caching!
A sad DNF for us here today. And nothing in the car that could really help the CO in this instance. Looks like this area is about to get built out!
Out with the CO of another cache nearby, we stopped to grab this one too.Unfortunately, it looks to be missing.
Today, I travelled with georode down to the Gold Coast to Coomera, where we had planned to meet a small group and to then subsequently descend down an old mine shaft. We managed to grab a few geocaches in the area, and then decided to have an early afternoon to return back to Brisbane.
Nice views from this location at the end of the road, and as we started to search for this cache, it turned out to be a quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

We had noticed that we had found 195 of Aussie Liahona's caches so planned today as an Aussie Liahona only day to find some more and get our 200th cache by these very prodigious hiders of caches in this neck of the woods. We have learnt a lot from their placements, styles and variety of hides since we found the first AL cache 4 days after starting Geocaching back in June 2017. We certainly would not have visited 19 cemeteries in the region without their caches being there!!
The Geojeep chugged further up the hill to this cache location. Beautiful views and a barking dog at GZ. Cache was spotted from the car and the log quickly signed. Our second AL cache of the day and #197. TFTC Aussie Liahona.

At GZ, we pulled up and spotted what was almost a drive-by. Nice construction of this one, with the log sheet held firmly in place.
The view from here was spectacular. The rolling grassy hill and the Pinetrees in the distance gave us a flashback of walking through the mountains in Europe. Strange sensation, but incredibly beautiful.
Thanks for highlighting these areas Aussie Liahona.
A lovely surprise on our drive today.
Some photos from GZ attached.

Some of the crew where out and going for the cache before I’d even stopped my car... quick easy find... PirateLinda and I will be battling for the shade for our cars all day.... tftc..
I did a thing here that I haven't done in ages - maybe years!
But before we get to that; I was out on an afternoon grabbing Aussie Liahona geocaches and wound up tackling a few unfound in a little cluster here on the bottom of Mount Tamborine. Three up this side-road, and oddly one already a smiley. Even after reading my log on that one, I have no clue why I have just one smiley up here of four, when they were all hidden at the time.
Getting up Wongawallan Drive was (somewhat as promised) a mission. I know the CO has some monster of a V8 weapon that will likely go anywhere. My car however, has an engine displacement of less than one litre. And so that long section up was a gentle chug in first gear. Less of a chug, more of a grind. But we made it!
Up the top though was just gentle hills and I could power along, checking out the fantabulous views to the east. I took a left and made it to the end of Larcombe Drive. The name stuck with me for some reason, and I *think* I went to school, or went to cadets with a Larcombe. Dunno.
And I spotted the geocache from the car. And I drove up close. And did a thing I haven't done in years - I grabbed the geocache without getting out of the car. The truest of drivebys! I sat in the seat and signed my name before reaching back out and replacing as found. Sure feels cheeky! But made for a quick grab in this lovely part of the world. Thanks for this geocache, Aussie Liahona

Quick park and grab with krcamber & reezielou. Some jelly feels amongst these beautiful houses. TFTC!
Another quick park and grab, Swearah jumped out at this one. Could definitely live in this peaceful location.
Visited the caches of ours out this way today replacing logs and containers where needed. This cache has a new log and a new ziplock bag to keep the log dry. Please make sure it is tucked in when you replace the cache. Many thanks!
Cheers and happy caching!

A nice quick park and grab for this one. Kids loved seeing the cows and calves near GZ.
Thanks for bring us up here.
Thanks for bring us up here.
Out today to meet up with a few others to grab a couple of unique caches in the area. This one was on the way as we passed by, can’t let a trad go by. 5 cars pulling up for an assault on a lonely little trad must be funny to see. The locals in the area were at first startled by our ascendance but soon settled and continued MOOving around. Wow what some great views, with the cache found very quickly, the log was full and orange crew supplied a new log which was then signed for all, cache was replaced as found and on to the next one, we still have an agenda to complete. Thanks for the hide.
Third cache for the day. We hit up this cache after previous success in a bat filled cave . That's pretty hard to top. This one was on the road out so it became a drive-by target. It was a very quick find, as I've found quite a few of these before. However... the views! The views make it all worthwhile. It was a cool day and we could see for miles. So stunning. We even got to see some newborn calves.
The log is full, but has been replaced with some RITR paper (thank you OrangeCrew).
TFTC - some TB visits.

Lovely views from the end of this street, we saw a couple of cows and their calves grazing along the roadside here too, wasn't expecting that! I donated a waterproof logsheet to add to the full one in the container.

There are some lovely houses down this way. We found a few that we would like to live in! It was great to be taken to a place we never would have driven down if it weren't for geocaching! Thanks Aussie Liahona!

Found with burgo78 on a great afternoon of caching

Down from Townsville for some more work training. This time ‘Adventure Based Learning’. Sounds fun right? Sadly this involved sitting in a classroom for 3 days talking about ABL rather than actually doing it.
Happy to get out here with Karicka to make some quick finds after a real adventure nearby.
Instant find here. Could have almost reached it from the car.

More amazing views and more beautiful houses. we stopped and took in the view . Thankyou for taking us to this beautiful spot.
On a bit of a mission from the sunny coast to take advantage of this beautiful weather and thought id do a trip to Tamborine Mountain considering I don't remember the last time I visited...
Not having a plan in place besides for doing the first search coming of the motorway this one came up..
Taking a detour off the main road, I ventured up this very steep slope..
This was a super quick find with nice views..
Thanks for showing me this section of the Goldie!

I remember driving up the steep road many years ago to find a few caches and enjoy the views of the coast from there.
Today, I headed back up the hill to clear this cache off the map but it was worth it to check out the views again and also check out the mansions along Larcombe Drive. A few people out on their rider mowers but the area around the cache was clear so it was a quick find.

As I arrived here a man was moving some old banana trees with his tractor up the hill. I took some photos of the scenery and soon as he was gone I made a quick find. Tftc
This was the last one on this stretch today, I loved the views of the mountains here. It must cost an awful lot of money to live on this street judging by the houses on display.
Great cache too, I do like these ones.
Fave point for the series, thank you!

Lovely drive with great scenery looking across to the valley made for a great stop to nab one of my favorite type of hides. Thanks Aussie Liahona and TFTC
It was wonderful to be among the hills here, it really is a lovely area. Pulling up I immediately noticed a familiar looking object and was pleased to be able to sign the log. With a snap of the view looking out at a different angle, I hopped back in to the air conditioned comfort of the car.
Thanks for placing this cache and bringing me here.

Awesome spot, would never have found it if I hadn't just discovered these hideythingies a couple of hours ago.
Clever little cache. Found similar ones so as soon as I spotted it I knew it was the cache
We ended up here by accident . . . . or to be totally honest, wrong co-ordinates entered in the GPS for another cache. We quickly realised we were at the wrong spot for that cache but the right place for this one. We knew that because we've looked for this previously when it was missing but today it was there and it compensated for our blunder. So TFTC Aussie Liahona.
This one was out of our way but we decided that would probably never come this way again so decided to stop by and have a look. Glad we did. Really good hide. TFTC
After a few adventures with teamdfl, Brother Colin, barbbowman, FastEd59, bubba89 and Slammer1989 this morning, I've caught up with T-Tech again, and we are grabbing a few caches that the others have already done, on our way to an Event on the Gold Cast this afternoon.
No trouble spotting this one, and some nice views as well. TFTC, Aussie Liahona.

Happy to say the cache is still here. We (Team Benders with us, RoddyC) came up here last May during the day time and marveled at the view. Tonight - in the dark, the views from the road were awesome! While we entertained the thought of living up here, the daily grind of traveling the road would probably wear us oldies out!
Found at 6.40pm on 18th November 2015. TFTC.

Out for a great afternoon of caching and checking out the views and scenery. All caches are well kept. TFTC Aussie Liahona.
In the quick look we had time for we didn't spot the cache. The owner(?) arrived to put up a temporary fence with GZ inside and that was the end of our search.....kind of feel it could be missing though. Thanks anyway Aussie Liahona.
Beautiful location, and so lush after the recent heavy rains. The only sounds are from birds. Cache was soon in hand.
Must be getting used to AL's caches, I found 4 in a row by just walking straight up to them today! TFTC.
Magical views from way up here!
Found one of those funny code things & thought we had things wrong but a little voice told me to keep looking. Sure enough not far away was the cache!

A very clever spot. Well made and very secure. Lovely cows looking on. Tftc Labufam )
The views getting up here definitely have to be the best views on the Gold Coast. Wow. Thanks Aussie Liahona for hiding the 565th cache that we've found so far!
