This afternoon I have just a little bit of time to kill between events. The preceding event has me pretty knackered, but I am keen to grab some local geocaches off my to-do list! On the drive in, blindly following Google Maps, I reckoned I've never been into this patch of Brisbane before. A distinct lack of smilies on the map backs this up. There you go, a new place already thanks to this geocache. After parking, I was glad to see I had a walk ahead of me. Not because my feet were sore and legs slow, but because there was a solid amount of muggle families enjoying the area nearer the road. Onwards a little more and into a quiet area. Passing the lake on my drive looked lovely but here the creek is barely a trickle. I poke around and in the second place I look, find the geocache. It seems muggles have found it a few times, but it's going alright and I signed the logbook at 14:30, replaced as found and went for a bit more of a stroll around the area before heading off. Thanks for this geocache, bedmakerTG
The log is damp so not signed. Doesn't appear to be magnetic anymore and some has drawn on the outside. Tftc.
Out with grandsons, showing them for the first time....hottest day...couldn't find it
Whilst driving through Warner, I stopped here to scope out these small lakes/river and the nearby playground equipment. I crossed the bridge and then took the route that a troll would take, and then began my search. I ended up searching in tougher areas than where the cache was located, and it was upon my way out that I found the small cache in a nice hiding spot. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and a few names appear to be missing from logbook. Thanks Tassiegirl13 for the cache placement, and bedmakerTG for its ongoing maintenance.

This morning, it was a planned visit to South Brisbane Cemetery in Dutton Park for the CITO event to clean and scrub graves, and perform a tidy-up and TLC.
Then after a morning tea with family, a last-minute plan to head to Lawnton to partake in a celebration birthday event. I then joined a small group to a tree climb geocache in the area followed by the use of a fishing TOTT, before grabbing a targeted difficult puzzle cache. It was then a few last stops in Warner around the lake, and at a couple of parks and reserves as I headed home south.

Found it! Forgot a pencil, photo of container and log included. This was a fun find
bedmakerTG I found your cache Warner over the Water on 5/4/2023, 10:03 am. This is my find 4945 and find # 3 today. No problems locating this one. A lot easier than other ones I found in similar situations. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
With a couple of hours before work I was planning to go caching around Eatons Hill… A FTF a bit further north changed those plans…
I followed Geepers to GZ and then had a look around where it took no time to spy the container… and I didn’t even have to get my hands dirty…
Tftc… ??

Early morning, joggers around but still no real muggle traffic to speak of.
The GPS Co ords are dead on (for a change) we find out later, hmmm.
Buttons still insists on wandering off to the other end of the bridge and justifiably so given the past history with my GPS.
I spend some time getting my hands dirty and ducking back into cover when I hear footsteps approaching.
I call it, but Buttons wants to keep going. Time to start reading some logs.
Nothing really jumps out at me so I just enjoy the peace and quiet and watch Buttons (still on the wrong side).
I must have been looking too hard earlier (or not holding my mouth right) when it practically jumps out at me (I swear I looked there earlier).
I give the honours of signing the log to Buttons and we head to the next one.

I spent an hour here looking all over every metal surface I also went back through the log to see if any hints where there and a few pics was facing the other end of the bridge away from the coordinates so I looks all over there as well
Spent an hour here but couldn’t find it
If anyone has any tips please message me cause I’m keen to find it but attempt 1 is failed!!

Found it,
On my last trip here I spent an hour here at the wrong end of the bridge due to looking back through logs and photos of people saying it’s at the other end of the bridge in relation to the coordinates and photos of the the same end
I guess that’s what I get for not trusting the coordinates and trying to cheat with past logs
When I went back the second time after receiving a tip from the lovely Candice I found it bang on where the coordinates point
Thank you for the cache (and the emotional rollacoster) and thank you Candice for your tip when I was stuck I really appreciate it!!

We were trying to look but a snake took me by surprise and now we’re saving this one for another day maybe in winter when there’s less snakes
Well camouflaged due to excellent colour matching. This was a fun hunt. TFTC
Lots of people around but managed to slip away unnoticed and made the find before rejoining the walkers. Thanks for the cache
Oh this was a good one !! Took a while to find. Only open the pic if u need a hint !
After far to much crawling and scurrying around we found it in a spot where we could have stayed dirt free! A sneaky in plain sight cache that I can’t believe we missed. Found at S .386 E .273 cache is in great condition
Not where our GPS’s pointed us to, but on the other side. Yay, ticked this one off my DNF list, as it had previously gone missing. TFTC and for the continued maintenance bedmakerTG
Heading out woth Duppers hunting caches that have eluded us. Happy to get a smiley face for this one. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Temporarily disabling this as it appears to be missing.
We'll get a new one in place as soon as we can.

Third attempt. Finally found it but at the end of the bridge opposite where the GPS indicated.
Out today to continue a personal challenge I have set myself, it seems I just need one cache today.
Over this side of town again for a first to find cache around the corner. This one I had been to once before and did not find, but armed with some new hints I was hopeful of making the find. It was a thorough search and I eventually came up with the find. It was a sneaky search as it was very busy here at this time of the day so I had to be very quiet in my search.
Thanks for the cache, all good with this one.
