Heading to Girraween for a long weekend of hiking and exploring. Quick find along the way.Tftc Team RobinsFind #5940
Out for a little ride around Stanthorpe (well not so little) as we cruised out to Undercliffe Falls and then back to do a very enjoyable circuit route.
Simple find it was laying out in the open. Signed and placed cache where we thought it would have been. An easy find we thought. Tftc
After living in the area for almost 9 years, I finally came to Liston for an activity and stayed for some caching! This cache is a good demonstration of the benefits of reading previous Activity comments because doing so gave me a clue, which when added to the Hint, made this cache easy to find! Cache container & logbook in good condition. TFTC
A lovely drive after leaving the Lavender farm in the setting sun. I made a quick stop and found this cache. Container has had water at some stage. Log is damp but managed to sign.TNLNSL ... or maybe I left a little fun swag item ... cannot remember.TFTC ...
On my way to Bald Rock I had some time to cache along the way.
Four years since I travelled this road last
Find number 29498 for me.

Out and about for a Sunday Drive, border hopping today, wanted to targer Liston and Amosfield, then on to Stanthorpe. 10 finds, 3 dnfs, and a write note for the day. Happy with that.
Cache is in good condition, but a bit damp. I felt like George of the Jungle here, a machete would have been handy.
Thanks for the chance to search for this hide and the drive along this beautiful country road.

Kestal and I headed south from Toowoomba on a numbers grab for her next milestone...a total of 57 required...it was a case of see how we go as to whether the numbers would add up today to accomplish her own personal challenge or another trip would be required. There were quite a few on her list that I had already found but I was happy to play chauffeur so she could accomplish her goal. By 11am we were surprised how well we were doing and decided to go for the "big one". A fun day was had and my thanks goes to you for the part you played...apologies for the generic log. TFTC Team Robins.
Eskies5 and I planned a trip to Stanthorpe and surrounding areas to nudge me a little closer to a milestone. With the nudge now being a push this was the forty-seventh stop of what would be 58 finds for the day for me. Found this cache at 11:36am our time and 12:36pm caches time with not a problem. All signed and returned. TFTC
Pulled in behind a low loader having his lunch break after passing him on the dirt road. Cache all good

The road for us...we love old mans beard and moss Tftc and bringing us here
Found my 2nd last new souvenir yesterday, so today Pa agreed to chauffeur me around. A few days ago we started the Mount Lindesay trail from the south, so what better thing to do today than attack it from the north while staying in Stanthorpe.
Again Pa was fantastic, suggesting even more caches than I had on my list. We were very successful with only 2 DNFs and 25 smilies. Even the DNFs may become smilies if the COs accepts my photos.
Thanks to all COs for placing these caches to add to the interest of our travels.
Logs were signed either as Smittengranny or as SG.

Day 2 of my trip to Stanthorpe and surrounds. I was headed to Bald Rock, but was distracted by the constant "ding" of the GPSr in the geomobile telling me that I was approaching another cache. What to do about that? Stop and find the cache, of course! At first, my pphone wanted me to search in a particular spot but my geosenses told me to look elsewhere. Good thing I did, as that was where I found the cache. TFTC
This one found by Mrs George who saw it first. The large tree nearby would have been a monarch of the forest. TFTC.
Found this with tough mother's x 6 today. Here for the weekend at Warwick and drove to Tenterfield thanks for all caches

The colour purple was starting to make sense out here now!
Day 2 of the return trip to Stanthorpe to collect the caches we couldn't find during the Mega weekend, due to lack of rain and too much rain, and to see off Team Robins on their epic adventure around Australia. Today the plan was to collect Stan's apples and a few other caches before heading off to Team Robins for an event to see them off on their adventure.
Thanks Team Robins for the cache.

A quick trip to Stanthorpe for the traditional but a little early Xmas in July event for 2015. I took the opportunity to tackle the caches along the once was Mt Lindsay Highway but is now Mt Lindsay Road.
I had travelled the dirt section while at the mega to get to Bald Rock but that was just about sight-seeing. Today was different. I saw the sunrise at Amberley, bypassed the traffic jam at Aratula and made a beeline for Liston and the nearby Undercliife Falls. I headed south to Tenterfield and tackled everything along the way, before heading north to Robins Nest and the event and the overnight stay.
Quick stop and I was back on the road. Lucky these roads are generally quite. No need to lock car or even stop to engine.
Thanks for placing this cache Team Robins

Backtracking our way into town, Ghostgums and I returned to a familiar area and picked up the second of these caches. A brief search revealed the container and we sorted business out in no time at all. We obviously picked a busy time of the day as two cars passed while we were at GZ… It was peak hour…
Cheers Team Robins.
Cheers Team Robins.
Today we did some post Mega caching finding 83 and 2 DNFs caches. Our aim today was to try and finish the caches on the eastern side of Stanthorpe to Tenterfield and return. We enjoyed the journey that the cache locations took us to.
We appreciate the time and effort gone into placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.
