Ric and I had a good look ,,, but only found snails .....At least we didn't find the pile of nappies Gorby spoke of !!!!!
3 in a row. Sometimes I get a bad vibe and can't find my feet, let alone a cache
Plenty of snails sheltering here

Well! This had to be the most foulest of caches I have ever done! No offence to you Riser5. It wasn't you that dumped 20 or so used disposable nappies right next to the cache!! The stench was unbearable, I grabbed the cache while holding my breath and quickly took it back to my car to sign. Reluctantly I had to return the cache. Good luck to anyone who visits after me!
A quick find. The log needs replacing, I couldn't sign it and didn't have a replacement with me. Have uploaded a photo as evidence of the find. TFTC
Geocaching through the countryside during our short visit to Nothland. What could be more pleasant on a lovely summers day? Easy find. Cache good. TFTC
Lots of centipedes in these caches but believe it was spiders that made this area world famous last year! TFTC
Good one back on track. quick park and grab. I like bridge caches you never know what you'll find. TFTC
YAH our spell is broken. A tricky location here. Little Kiwi travel bug thought it looked too bright and a bit slippery here so he hid in the car. TFTC
Very wet, tried to dry as best I could. Kids enjoyed racing stick boats under the bridge.
Decided to do a bit of a day tour of Northland and grab some easy drive-bys in the process. Thanks.
Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!
Log very wet, replacement probably needed. Nice challenging cache. Wasn't where we thought but we got there!
I finally made it to Matapouri Bay today after a false start last Tuesday. Today it started fine and stayed that way all day.
I'm now on my way home and decided to pick up all the caches in this series in the Jordan Valley and environs.
Cheers for the cache.
cache 3. The log was a little damp but was able to write in it still. Making good progress...onwards..
#454 After a couple of DNFs it was a relief to find this one. Lovely clear water. TFTC!
Found while waiting to return 55 Chevrons. Nanogirl was looking to climb under when I spotted this one. Quite glad actually as it is quite a drop!

Caching with Mini Mob today. Only method to get him to come was a promise of a lolly for every 4 finds.....7th find of the day ...... 1st lolly has been eaten. mini Mob asked what we were looking for so explained the cache size. His reply was "like that one there?" Helpful child that he is. TFTC.
And more of my evening of geocaching. Fortunately this did not involve getting too close to the river... TFTC

Nice quick find on our trip around this loop that we have meant to do for a long time. TFTC
This one took a while to find, eventually found in a place I'd already checked TFTC Flowernz
Oops! I submitted the same message on another cache!

12.15pm. That is quite a drop! Took some time and I went a lot nearer the edge than I should have. Finally found by feel, not by sight.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
In spite of the warning I nearly went for a slide down the bank, but found it. tftc
Another quick find by the boys, two cars had stopped on the other side of the bridge but the drivers were too busy talking to each other to wonder what we were doing....TFTC
Soon located in what is proberly the likely spot, just a little detour on the way north to see clients, TFTC
Quick one .Only place it could have been. The paddocks around here don’t like too much rain eh!
All dark out there tonight with no moon and no stars. Torch working well to help us spot the hide TFTC.
A popular spot for cyclists to park in summer for tuesday night racing around Jordan Valley but was always rushing around too much to grab these caches; went for a nice ride around the race circuit & picked up a few of your caches on the way back. This one was the 1st & a quick easy find. TFTC
Grabbing a few caches in the area while passing through on our 'how ever long it takes' NZ tour.
Thanks for setting this up.

9142... Some nice views of Mt Hikurangi from Apotu Bridge, recent signs of how high the river floods, TFTC.
4.40pm. Nearly dropped the gps into the stream below while slithering and sliding around near the edge under the bridge all to no purpose. Cache was easy to get without the effort I had put in.

Found after w wee hunt. Did start to think it may have been washed away. Sneaky one
Now where getting down to swamp level,I have done a bit of duck shooting near here, floods quite badly, I remember one year my uncle lost two dozen decoys and a kayak in a flood, never to be seen again.TFTC.
FTF 5.40pm Caching against the clock with a detour on the way home. Only time for a few! Took time to complete a 'structural inspection'! T4TC!
