Sorry previous comment was incorrect gps on phone was playing up. We found some camo tape that was all. May have washed away.
We are new to this, but couldn't find it. Searched the posts and rails fairly throughly
Another day of cache maintenance,
New replacement log added as this one was flooded and full. Please ensure bag is sealed.
Easy find, nice rusty pipe indeed. TFTC

TFTC... Not far off our (Dad a.k.a Matini264 and my) track home today to grab this one.
Nicely camo'ed container except it had broken away from its attachment which Dad repaired.
After admiring the beautiful farmland scenery and signing log noticed a muggle on a quad coming up towards us as we were leaving... guessing he was curious why 2 vehicles were parked up there?
Interesting... the rusty pipe! What was this for I wonder?

Nice easy find... sure farmer brown was wondering what we were doing. Cashe was sitting on top of post but managed to rewire and put back between post and railing all secured. TFTC
We were heading North today to spend a few days up in The Bay of Islands... and naturally we had to pull up the geo-map on the way to see if there were any caches up for grabs. That is how we came to be looking for this particular cache. So after detouring briefly off the main highway, we initially passed GZ and so we had to turn around. Once we found a place to park, I made my way to GZ on foot and soon made the find. The log book has been signed. So thank you Riser5 for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so.
Nice easy find. Searched the posts methodically until I found it right under my nose. Nice little spot to pop a cache. Thanks for the cache.
Pulled up to GZ and cache was hanging in plain site. Signed the log and placed it back in a location a bit more discreet.
Feels like a long time since we have been home to enjoy exploring our own backyard, so off today to explore Kauri and around Lake Waro, but also a chance to collect some previous DNFs that have been updated. What an awesome afternoon of caching was had (although now to deal with the sunburn consequences). 22 caches in 3 hours of adventure, we even had to go for a swim to collect a cache, this was our seventh cache of the day.
Start of the trail for me today. Wonder what the pipe is or was for with the square holes cut in it.

Someone was parked right next to GZ, so I parked just before the bridge. Quick find while the muggle was nowhere to be seen.

Whangarei Day2.
We spent a delightful day in the outer region of Whangarei, driving through the rolling country side then onto the sea side where many surfers were enjoying the waves.
A great variety of locations & hides were found. Took a few minutes to spot this one.
Thanks for placing this cache Riser5

After climbing part of the Tamahunga track and Waikaraka walkway, I was feeling in need of an easy approach to GZ. Not sure what was happening with the GPS, as the area of the hide was in the middle of the drive? so had to search the obvious and not so obvious, before finding the elusive hide.
Easy when you know where! thanks for the hide

Nice little find - an enjoyable Sunday morning while on family vacation up in Whangarei
I'm back up in my home town of Whangarei for the holiday period and on this very wet morning teamed up with fellow Auckland cacher yorkshirekiwi83 and local caching friends tikitour for a couple of hours of caching, till the rain sent us home! Soon found the cache here, TFTC!

Decided to finish the year and see in the new year in Whangarei, Vistra and tikitour decided to join me and we spent the time grabbing caches around the region, in some cases it was just one that needed to sign in others it was all three of us, signed as TYV (or combination of those letters) or VY when it was more than 1 of us.
Early morning in the rain, quick grab TFTC

A very rusty pipe. Here we had our first stop on the way to Paihia and also breakfast. A quick find.
TFTC!

nice hide. the path once upon a time led to the QEII reserve but has since overgrown. will be doing some work around here over the coming year (planting up the stream banks) so could be quite a different space in a few months time. tftc
Found after a short search. I returned to the car to find it being swarmed by bees. I waved them aside and jumped in quickly. By the way, this is a micro, not a small, and the information should be corrected. It took me longer to find, as I was looking for a small. TFTC Flowernz & Riser5.
November in Europe, the dark month, neighter autumn nor winter: short days, rain, fog. Everywhere unlucky people.
But now we are in NZ. Early sunrise, mighty green and flowers everywhere. Happy cows and sheeps also. We delight look forward to such lovely challenge. Thank you NZ. Greetings from Germany, from the mountains of Harz. TFTC

First I was worried I'd have to clamber right to the rusty pipe ! But then I found the hint item and the cache ! Cool thanks !
No idea what the pipe is for !

Todays plan was for a further attempt to increase my unique Minutes for the 400 Minute Challenge in Manawatu. I only needed an extra dozen or so to tip me o=ver the magic mark and, with a plan to head further North than before (whilst a cacher), there was a good chance of success. Built the plan aroubnd the barrier caches spread evenly along the upper S H 1 and also another couple of Letterbox hybrids and an Earth cache at Hikurangi. The hope to also fit in Waipu Cove and Mangawhai Head was a step to far. Settled for 53 caches all up, 23 new minutes so mission accomplished and I can now claim another D/T for my grid. Many thanks to all the C Os whose caches I found today. Got to see some cool sights of lower Northland and help my little missions along. Got all the North ones on the way up and the South ones on the way back down. Yay

Maybe I'm a bit rusty, but I didn't see any pipe, never-the-less I found the cache! Nothing rusty about me when it comes to that!
Geocaching through the countryside during our short visit to Nothland. What could be more pleasant on a lovely summers day? Easy find. Cache good. TFTC

last cache for the day. Sun shining. one of the logs mentioned they couldn't see the pipe. lol. great day caching. TFTC ;D
Last cache for the day giving a total of 20 today. A new high score for us both. My Kiwi travel bug managed to open his eyes long enough to see the rusty pipe that previous cachers had failed to spot. LOL. Cool camo. TFTC
Had some time before work and made a quick grab, recent flooding has eaten away the bank so lucky the cache survived! Got a fright from the electric fence and a "growling?" Cow! Have turned into such a townie!!! TFTC
Decided to do a bit of a day tour of Northland and grab some easy drive-bys in the process. Thanks.
Saw it as we was pulling up, Nice and easy.
Log is full though.
Thanks for taking us on this trail Flowernz, really enjoy ourselves.
We missed a couple on the way due to our GPS but well worth coming back out again

Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!
A great end to this fantastic wee trail. Thanks for the work that went into it, we had a really fun afternoon!
I finally made it to Matapouri Bay today after a false start last Tuesday. Today it started fine and stayed that way all day.
I'm now on my way home and decided to pick up all the caches in this series in the Jordan Valley.
Cheers for the cache.
I don't know what the pipe was for either. Soon found the cache. Thanks for the placement
#456 Last cache for the day before I had to make tracks. Quick find. Thanks for the lovely detour- really enjoyed the views and the caches. Will be back to grab the ones I couldn't find.
