Walking the bibbulum track from Balingup to walpole. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching
I found this cache on my way up the hill from the dam, while walking the Bibbulmun Track. The tiger eyes were very useful thank you. All good with the cache.
All.good here at the end of a lovely walk from Pemberton .cache and log in excellent condition tftc
Awesome spot, some great things hidden inside!! The log book inside is clean and not wet like many others we have found, this was a very fun cache to find!
A quick find which was made possible because my wife took the wrong path on our hike. Son and daughter 2 spotted the eyes of the tiger as I got to where I believed it was. Easy peasy after that.
TaurusSix and I have started our Easter holiday a day early, making Thurs our first official Easter holiday day. We are heading to Pemberton and basing ourselves there for four nights while we explore the region and everything it has to offer and of course fitting in as much geocaching as practical along the way, whilst still doing lots of other things too. We love the autumn weather and there is always something special about an Easter get away.

Day three has been jam packed, we just love this area there is so much to see and do. First up we headed into Pemberton to place some new caches, we found some ideal spots that we thought would add to the existing hides of the area, they will be coming out shortly. After a lovely brunch in town we commenced the Adventure Lab there before heading out to the Gloucester Tree. Wow it was busy out there at one stage we counted over 40 people on the tree at the same time with many more waiting to join. We did a couple of the short walks there as well as collecting a geocache . From there it was onto the Big Brook Dam. Another wonderful area and we walked the full circuit , which was very enjoyable , collecting geocaches and the Ad Lab reference along the way. Then onto the Warren River Cedar area which once again the area was quite stunning . We finally ended up doing the Rainbow Trail , which was another lovely walking track on the outskirts of town.

This was our third cache find of the day along with the nearby Adventure Lab. We really enjoyed doing the circuit around the dam, there was lots of bird life around. We took the short divert up the hill towards this gz , which was a good heart starter and soon had cache in hand , logged and replaced. Thanks for the cache jacaro44 .

Quick detour on our ride around the dam today. Popped in a NSW Rocks rock that we found in Bunker Bay.

Woo-hoo. Got it. In good condition.. Thanks for placing. Lovely walk and missed most of the showers
We have a short holiday at Pemberton, the nature is beautifull. We do the Rainbow trail and later we made a trip at the car to find some other caches. And climbing to the top of the Gloucester tree, for a fantastic view.
Thanks for the caches and greetings from The Netherlands.

Travelling through from SA with Team Crumble we are on our once in a life time multi month trip and WA's great south was the destination. TFTC.

We had planned a trip to Mexico but had to change plans last minute. Friends were travelling to WA for an extended holiday and asked if we would like to join them. It was an easy decision to accept their offer, although 2 wks wasnt long enough for the 1000's of kms we travelled.
We have stopped at Mambray Creek, Penong, Lucky Bay and Pemberton so far.
We drove to Big Brook Dam and did the loop walk. What a beautiful walk with so many birds!
This was our 2000th cache
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache

Walked through here on a hike a few days ago but now we are back for these caches. Could never get tired of this scenery. Tftc jacaro44
Awesome walking trails around the dam and a great spot for a cache. Thanks jacaro44
We have just completed an annual maintenance visit to these caches. New Logbooks, pencil, sharpeners and some children swoop items. Containers dried out and ready to receive visitors. Please replace cache container in upright position (lid uppermost) where possible. Enjoy your visit to Beautiful Pemberton.
The final cache of the series for us and now off to calculate and find the final. Was a great ride and all good durable containers. Tftc
Last in our series and now to find the mystery hide. All nice quality containers and a lovely bike ride.
We thought that the Rainbow series was similar to the Heartbreak series by being able to drive to all GZ's. The map certainly gave the impression but this is not the case. We parked at the nearby parking bay and took a leisurely stroll towards this cache, having a close encounter with a tiger snake on the way. I guess you can become complacent if you never see snakes in the wild but this snake disappeared so quick in the grass that you wonder how many encounters you can have and you wouldn't even know they were there . Seeing the snake made us more cautious when we got to GZ. The cache was found with Panda Dundee in prime snake habitat. TFTC ️
After spotting a slithery local crossing the path below we carried on in the direction of GZ. Cache in hand quickly! Found with Minergal TFTC
Took the geo hounds for a walk around the dam and paused for this cache. What a pretty spot. TFTC
Found DE and F yesterday now to finish the trail with AB&C to find our pot of gold. TFTC
That was a long walk in the showers! Sun has finally emerged and I've committed to grabbing the others in the area. TFTC
A single (very wet) night at the Big Brook Arboretum campsite then we set off on our journey southward. We detoured to pick up this cache and another near the dam, which were only a little walk up from where we'd parked the caravan Pity we didn't have the time to walk/bike the track and pick up the others.
Was a great stay in Big brook dam, thanks for sharing your amazing part of the world. Who knows... we may be back to return and pick the remainder up

Out early this morning to try and find some more caches in the Rainbow series. This one was a short diversion off a walk around Big Brook Dam. TFTC
A bit tricky to find due to rotting vegetation. The "tiger eyes" clues are great.
Didn't see a trackable here. Found this one quite quickly when geobrother was wondering which way to go. Thanks for the hide
Thanks for the cache. Couldn’t find the other one around here, so glad we got this one. Took a photo of the bird life on the way.
Another find as we take this long walk through the bush. Good thing it's not raining!
A Southwest escape again with Barnzy12 starting in Perth heading to Margaret river via Dunsborough yallingup and down the coast road.
Day two had us visiting Augusta to Pemberton with a great drive through heartbreak track with stunning Karri Forrest.
Day three was spend visiting Windy Harbour ... living up to its name and then through to Walpole where an epic walk up GC18W4D fire lookout ended the day.
Day four was to be spent walking through Walpole-Nornalup National Park to complete the Hop on Top walk and series of 7 geocaches. A great walk spend with a team of others.
The day ended with a huge drive back to Perth ready for a day of work on Monday.
During the 4 day adventure plenty of caches found around 90 with a good range of types and container sizes. Some great photos and memories to take away.
jacaro44 I found your cache Rainbow Ramble C thanks for placing this hide for myself and others to find.

Out on a 4-day south west exploration with Cravo10 with the eventual goal of meeting up for a group assault on the Top on Hop in Walpole Nornalup National Park.
Day 4 saw us leaving Pemberton heading to Walpole via some back roads and a lovely detour to Windy Harbour.
We completed the rainbow trail around Pemberton first thing which was a lovely set of walks including all the caches at Big Brook Dam before heading down to Lake Yeagerup to grab the two caches down there.
We continued to Northcliffe with an unfortunate DNF there before moving down to the highlight of the day which was the location of Windy Harbour, an absolute picturesque place with some great sights the highlight would be their "natures window" which was simply awesome.
We continued along from Windy Harbour to Walpole where we completed all the caches around town and the surrounding before having a final walk upon dusk to Fire Lookout at Mount Frankland, which was absolutely stunning and a great way to finish the day.
Thanks to the local COs for their caches.
Have YOU logged your "will attend" to this years WA Goes BIG Event in Dunsborough on 13-14th October at the Naturaliste Community Centre.
Log your WILL ATTEND now on GC7GXQA and I look forward to seeing you there

Nice little walk from the Big Brook Dam carpark up the hill and then a nice cache to cap it off. Beautiful part of the world and a big contrast for a visitor from Queensland. TFTC jacaro44
Taking a nice walk around the dam grabbing a hide or two along the way
