TaurusSix and I have started our Easter holiday a day early, making Thurs our first official Easter holiday day. We are heading to Pemberton and basing ourselves there for four nights while we explore the region and everything it has to offer and of course fitting in as much geocaching as practical along the way, whilst still doing lots of other things too. We love the autumn weather and there is always something special about an Easter get away.

Day three has been jam packed, we just love this area there is so much to see and do. First up we headed into Pemberton to place some new caches, we found some ideal spots that we thought would add to the existing hides of the area, they will be coming out shortly. After a lovely brunch in town we commenced the Adventure Lab there before heading out to the Gloucester Tree. Wow it was busy out there at one stage we counted over 40 people on the tree at the same time with many more waiting to join. We did a couple of the short walks there as well as collecting a geocache . From there it was onto the Big Brook Dam. Another wonderful area and we walked the full circuit , which was very enjoyable , collecting geocaches and the Ad Lab reference along the way. Then onto the Warren River Cedar area which once again the area was quite stunning . We finally ended up doing the Rainbow Trail , which was another lovely walking track on the outskirts of town.

This was our eighth cache find of the day along with a nearby Adventure Lab. As we continued along this very pleasant track the birds ere in full song, it is amazing how sometimes the smallest of birds make the most noise. Cache was quickly located, logged and replaced. Thanks for the cache jacaro44 .

We have a short holiday at Pemberton, the nature is beautifull. We do the Rainbow trail and later we made a trip at the car to find some other caches. And climbing to the top of the Gloucester tree, for a fantastic view.
Thanks for the caches and greetings from The Netherlands.

A nice quick find while on our scooters, scooting around these wonderful trails in the karri forests.
We have been camping at Pemberton for the week, caching as we go.
These ones have been on our radar since we put a smiley on the other ones in the series back in 2012 - this must be a record for the longest running series to be completed - nearly 10 years from start to finish

We started this series yesterday from the dam. Today we are walking from the caravan park. A nice walk along the track and all caches were found in good condition. Luckily not many bike riders out this morning.
Sadly no joy I had 1m from GZ, but no marker on the trail, and none on any stumps within a 20m radius. I may be wrong, but methinks an eagle eyed BT Walker might have picked up markets and cache.
Of course I could be totally wrong andossed by miles!

No luck spotting this one unfortunately. Thanks anyway jacaro44 and hopefully we can still complete the series ok
Couldn’t locate this one even with the hint. Found a yo-yo quite close to a likely spot but alas, no cache. Thanks anyway jacaro44. Might need a check or could be a case of the old cache blindness today.
We have just completed an annual maintenance visit to these caches. New Logbooks, pencil, sharpeners and some children swoop items. Containers dried out and ready to receive visitors. Please replace cache container in upright position (lid uppermost) where possible. Enjoy your visit to Beautiful Pemberton.
Found it. Didn’t have a pencil but logged using brown crayon. Easy ISS find near yellow discs
Found with bjp? on a ride to Big Brook Dam.
Magic day and looking forward to a swim.

This afternoon I’ll be going to the dam and will search for the other 3. The final is then the next one on the list.

Out on a 4-day south west exploration with Cravo10 with the eventual goal of meeting up for a group assault on the Top on Hop in Walpole Nornalup National Park.
Day 4 saw us leaving Pemberton heading to Walpole via some back roads and a lovely detour to Windy Harbour.
We completed the rainbow trail around Pemberton first thing which was a lovely set of walks including all the caches at Big Brook Dam before heading down to Lake Yeagerup to grab the two caches down there.
We continued to Northcliffe with an unfortunate DNF there before moving down to the highlight of the day which was the location of Windy Harbour, an absolute picturesque place with some great sights the highlight would be their "natures window" which was simply awesome.
We continued along from Windy Harbour to Walpole where we completed all the caches around town and the surrounding before having a final walk upon dusk to Fire Lookout at Mount Frankland, which was absolutely stunning and a great way to finish the day.
Thanks to the local COs for their caches.
Have YOU logged your "will attend" to this years WA Goes BIG Event in Dunsborough on 13-14th October at the Naturaliste Community Centre.
Log your WILL ATTEND now on GC7GXQA and I look forward to seeing you there

TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Spending a couple of days in Pemberton, I chose to explore the Bibbulman & had a great walk from Big Brook Dam into town... Another quick find here on this beautiful stretch of the track [^]

Thanks for the cache. Out today completing some of the rainbow ramble series. Found all caches in good condition double bagged and containered. Appreciative of the reflective makers that made finding the containers in the dense undergrowth.
Working in pemby for the week and finally have the chance to tick off some smileys in the area TFTC
During our 4-week trip through Western Australia we had a great time there and we also found a couple of caches along the route. We stopped here too to search and grab this caches. Fabulous area and well worth a visit. Very nice and beautiful geocaching site. Thanks for hiding this cache in this stunning area and greetings from Germany!

Great walk, great series. I was very surprised and disappointed to have to pour over half a cup of water from each of three of the cache containers. Thankfully all of the log containers were dry. TFTC
Set out from the caravan park this morning on foot to find a few caches nearby. The few caches turned into a run to find all the caches in this series, a trip of about 15km. I had run to 'A' and decided to run around Big Brook Dam. I found all the caches quickly and returned back at the caravan park needing to still find the final cache, which I did soon after.
A great place for a walk (or run) and I recommend completing the whole way to the dam.
Thanks for the series and easy finds.

All is in good order the last to find was fishing muggles who have signed log and put back good fun to read. Find 5 On our travels around Australia doing a few caches on the way. TFTC
This Rainbow Ramble was an adventure for the whole family. All easy finds but getting between them was exciting to say the least. Mr O. and geokid1 went by bike between D and C (which is a lot further than it looks), while Mrs. O. and geokid2 walked back from D to the car near F and attempted to drive round to C. That was the plan but it didn't quite work out due to fallen trees, no entry signs, roads closed, bridges closed, a poor choice of shortcuts and flat phone batteries! All's well that ends well but suffice to say, doing all 6 in one go cannot be done by car. By bike is fine but strenuous. Very peaceful through the forests and the dam looked magnificent. Thanks for the series!
Second one on our walk to finish this series.
Thanka for another quick grab.
