As I will be doing some traveling, its time to say goodbye to the monkeys. They've had a good run, but its time to open the space up for someone else to use. Thanks to all who have dropped by!
Quick find after lunch in Onehunga. Tucked further back and behind around head height. Nice little park. Dropped TB. TFTC
Took me a while to find this one. Quite a bit higher than chest height - more like head height.
Took a bit of hunting but found it eventually, brand new log, byo pencil. Nothing to take but left a little something for the next visitor. TFTC.
After finding Mt Eden or Bust, I walked up to the corner to search for this one. There was a Police officer on the corner explaining to some little ones, about the proper way to cross the street, Push the button, wait for the green man etc... So I thought even though It was clear, I decided to set a good example for the kids and show them the proper way to use the crosswalk... Press both buttons to see which green man arrived first, as I was on the opposite corner of my target. Once at GZ, Goodies quickly located. TFTC.
A nice quick easy find today, camo not attached to cache left in plain view as I approached GZ, cache soon in hand, put it back and tucked it up with camo on top, unplanned geocaching today, so was manually loading co ords into GPS from phone c;geo, when phone wasn't playing nice, TFTC.
I needed a cache to keep my streak alive, so I came by to grab this one. My coords seemed off, but I used the hint and made the find. Took: Travel Bug Babsi. Left: Scarabaeus Peregrinans Cantorianus TB. TFTC
We 'barked' up the wrong tree for quite some time until finally discovered it! Great little nook... dropped off a TB BABSI 
easy find at gz. log was full and the added one was damp. but managed to sign. did some clean-up works, dried up the container and removed some junk. tftc.
Chasing an unsuccessful ftf close by I consoled myself with this nice walk here in a sunny evening.

Required a little bit of climbing. Also needs a new logbook as it was full and wet.
Found by miss menzies. Drive past here nearly everyday but its a hard place to stop but have finally nabbed this one. added a new sheet of paper as old one was soaked. might need maitenence though as inside cache is wet. Tftc.
Found with my Mum, NewlynFam. Have now created my own account so am logging all finds I was present at and helped with.

Found today with a bunch of the cachers from the GA meeting this morning. It was my first time going geocaching with a bunch of people more experienced than me, so it was an interesting experience. Had a fun time learning from the pros
With this one I had to park down the road a bit, so when I got to GZ one of the kiddies had already found it. This park is pretty cool though!

On our way to the quiz event we stopped for some caches along the way and saw this one only a short distance off route so off we went.
Nice quick find by the kids, log signed, cache returned and we were on our way.

A few of the gang had two events planned for day- a breakfast to begin with, in order to address geocaching addiction issues, and a quiz later in the afternoon. What to do in between time? Go caching, of course!
This one was our last "on the way" cache to the quiz. Pulled up near GZ and quickly jumped out of cars. We headed across the road, where the cache was found very quickly by mini NewlynFam- her first find of the day, so I think she was pretty stoked!

This one was much easier to find than the previous cache owing to the lack of muggles around as they were all over the intersection picking up their children.
Was in the area for work, so thought I would get a cache or two.

Late afternoon find so speed was of the essence to avoid attention from those little bitey creatures.
#482. Had a wander around in this park to see if I could find something that gave meaning to cache title. Other than the Three Kings connection, afraid it eluded me. But cache itself was a quick find. Signed and rehid in same place. TFTC
Camo fabric top was on the ground nearby but cache was intact. Needs regluing.
Visited this park several times but not to look for caches. Nice to be back, TFTC
Yay! Nice little reserve too. Never really noticed it before. Wiped out the inside of the cache. Log is still acceptable but could use ten minutes in the sun. Took a little eraser and swapped it for a dice. Cheers!

Off on a cache mission around the neighbor hood. Couldn't find the 2nd monkey but I will try again... and I will have to visit this one again too, because I was so excited I found it and was trying to hide that I forgot to write down the co-ords for monkey 4. 
Blustery day but thought we would venture out and grab a smilie. No evil here. NINO TFTC
The only evil to be seen was the camo on the ground though it was definitely the weather and not any monkeys. Quick find with garball on this wild weather day, placed the camo back and attempted to hide it so that it might stay in place. Must think about putting some superglue in the geocaching kit. TFTC Defiant980.

Out for a spot of geocaching with casaba3 (decided before we knew what the weather'd be like!) when we stumbled across monkey number 2 and over a cuppa in a nearby cafe discovered where the other two where...so we find ourselves looking for monkey number 1. A really quick find as casaba3 saw the cache's camo lying on the ground. The container still in the original spot though and we quickly signed and went back to the car to get out of the weather. TFTC Defiant980 - next stop monkey number 3 and hopefully the more elusive 4th monkey.
Don't remember seeing this park area before - but then it's been a while since I've been out this way. No monkeys to be found anywhere, but the cache more easily located. TFTC
Nice place. The prickly bushes were an issue, but it wasn't too bad. Just when I was coming out, there were two muggles across the street, looking intrigued...but kept calm and carried on. TFTC
Had an okay look but the lawn mower man kept looking at me so I thought I should move on

Try to not normally look for caches in the dark! but today was the exception as I was in the area attending a workshop. Found some parking opposite the reserve, a building site! Made my way to GZ and with the help of the clue the cache was found. Just #2 to find, leave that for another day, the moon is slowly rising, its time to go home. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.

Another cache near my school. Found with MissK1103 - the last in the series for us because we started at #3.
This find completes the Three Wise Monkeys for no. 1 son and I (we went in reverse order). Definitely improved in finding caches from #3 yesterday to #2 and #1 today. TFTC series.
An easy find. The cache was exposed and on the ground. Placed camo back on the cache and replaced cache to position in the hint. Tnln.tftc.
