Going to have to come back to rectify this one as I do it have a suitable container with me. So will disable for the time being, but should be back within the week.
I was just about to check out an alternate GZ when, into the wild, He-Squirrel charged to find the cache! Swapped swag for the dice. TFTC OrionJ
Out with the geokids today to get them out of the house while on school holidays. What better way to get them up and moving than to find a few geocaches..
Nice easy find today.
Thanks for the hunt OrionJ.

I would not have known this was the old rail line track but once you know it makes sense. Thank you for the history lesson.
Quick fInd at GZ.

Today is a Geocaching day with Selva Girls and KerriMG to start turning green dots into smiley faces around the Ormiston area. Thankfully Selva Girls had been here before so our hinting time was reduced so we could admire the magic location. Love old rail trails - never knew this one existed or even thought that the could be one here. Enjoying the series.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 12.15pm on 2nd March 2017. TFTC, OrionJ.

Out for the day caching around Ormiston with Mr RoddyC & Selva Girls.
Another great hidden away patch of greenspace. Will have to come back when it's cooler & go for a wander along the old rail trail. Having a previous finder with us made this a much quicker find than it could have been as there are lots of places to search here.

Continuing my hunt around the area I thought of going to this one . I followed the track which lead me straight to GZ. After looking up and down in all directions, I decided to approach GZ in a different direction this lead me to have the cache in hand . Sadly no trains were about today has the Cleveland line was closed for maintenance . Thanks for the cache OrionJ . TFTC!!!
Out picking up some caches with Nurseyjulie. It would be drive-by caches today as that gave us lots of opportunity to sit in the cool aircon in the car between caches. Another one that took way longer than it should have to find [:s] I blame the my phone refusing to settle. First over there, then there, then there, then further over. Eventually, I ignored the phone and went with my geosenses. It was then in the second place I looked TFTC
A very hot day today, so a day of drive by caching with Selva Girls. This was a tricky one. We parked at the end of the cul de sac and through the little gateway. Interesting that the "line" is still here and a short way a trail passing through. The GPS took a while to settle and we did not want to take too long as the mozzies were hungry. One side to the other and back again. As Selva Girls rounded the tree she spotted it. TFTC OrionJ
I wasn't having a lot of luck finding cache hides that didn't have muggles near by or right on them. This hide nearly started that way when I headed down the local lane and one of the neighbours was driving out. I got a wave and she was on her way, so I took the opportunity to feed the mozzies and look for the cache. Started on the low road and searched a few spots. With the mozzies becoming worse, had given up the search and started back to the car when I decided to give it one more try. Tried a different approach to GZ and there it was. It should have been a quick find!! Thanks for this cache OrionJ.
TFTC... 14/11. A small group of Tough Mothers looked at a container that was a bit damp but dry inside.
The compass pointed me I the right direction and after scratching around like an old chook I came up trumps signed the log and replaced TFTC
A lovely walk to GZ and I headed to find the cache.
Signed the log and returned to hide.
We walked down to the platform at the pond and the ducks came over to us and a turtle too.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks OrionJ All good with this cache

A new container is in place and the location slightly adjusted at the GZ. The terrain rating has also been changed 1.5 --> 2 to reflect the adjustment. It's easy access but a tad bit above 1.5 now.
The cache has disappeared and a replacement is needed. Back online in a couple of weeks.
Enjoy the nearby other caches in the meantime.

Muggled out by neighbour and his chooks who came down to see what I was doing. I was taking pictures of trees, of course. I wandered away to try again another day.
I really needed to get out of the house and Rick said we would just go grab some from the car, so we decided to grab some of the new ones around home.
The new GPS has us going here there and everywhere.

With a useless GPS found it reasonably quickly - but not after becoming lunch for the mozzies
Mozzies are NO friends of mine. GPS a bit out on this one. After bush bashing we realized it wasn't necessary lol GZ marked by blue straw TFTF
Mrs Just a Trifle was out on Coochiemudlo Island for a day of caching with Barbbowman, RaynersinOz and bubba_89 but while we were not too far away, we stopped by to pick up this cache as it has been published by a unique reviewer which will be useful to complete a particular challenge. We soon found our way to ground zero and quickly had the cache in hand. With the log signed it was time to call it a day and head back home.
Thank you Tdimdad for having placed the earth cache for everyone to enjoy.

I had had a lovely day's caching with barbbowman, bubba_89 and JustaTrifle. We were on our way home, but decided to drop in and get this cache because of its unique reviewer, as JustaTrifle needed this one to complete the reviewers challenge (in NSW). We parked the car and quietly headed towards the cache. It is quite close to a neighbouring house, but there are walking trails nearby and plenty of reasons to be out and about in the area. It didn't take us long to reach GZ and we soon had the cache in our hands. TFTC Tdimdad and for bringing us to a lovely spot that I had no idea existed
in the area today. had to pick this one up for a challenge in NSW.

Found on day 2 of road trip around oz. Signed as team Malcolm. Easy find could see the hide from the path. Recovered well. Greetings from England! Tftc
Phone really had trouble locking in, 20m that way no 50m this way. Found it in the end though by moving closer to the house. TFTC
Picked this up on a hunt looking for koalas. Didn't see any koalas here, but there weren't any muggles or mozzies either.
After lunch we decided to slowly make our way towards Wellington Point, finding the caches as we passed them. A pleasant way to do a tour of the area.

Mosquitos EVERYWHERE, but found it eventually. Spent too much time looking in the wrong spot!
Found with awdouglas and awgregory, pen ran out of ink during signature. Hint was helpful. TFTC!

29/12/14 - out for an arvo caching and this was in the catchment zone. A quick find that could have been deadly. Those mozzies were out to kill. Thankfully I got out with minimal wounds. I am also thankful that residents were all inside, as this would have been a tough cache otherwise. TFTC
I knew of this area when I used to live around here and used to play on the old rail alignment before the railway was rebuilt. Thanks for showing us this old bit of history tdimdad.
I very unique cache because of the reviewer. I've had this on the short list for quite some time to finally complete the reviewers challenge.
Dropped scout geocoin.
Thanks

Lived in the area for 33 years and I'm still learning about my local area thanks to this! This was my second one and I have that feeling of eyes always on me and that I'm holding a big secret
Finding myself heading to the wrong side of the river for a short work conference, I set about determining a few geocaches that would tick boxes for me. This one is published by a rather unique Reviewer - one I have not seen at work before in Australia. And yes, there is a challenge based on this fact.
Cache was quickly found, and while I couldn't see any steam trains, I could, almost, hear them chugging along behind me. Nice spot, lovely piece of history.
Thanks for placing this cache, tdimdad. Found in good condition.

Found this one on 2/8/14 with my family (TheWilkinsGang). TFTC, didn't know this area of wello existed!
Most of the time we were looking at the wrong place but we managed to find it make sure you dig !
This is our 200th find!!! Great location that we wouldn't have come to otherwise. TFTC
Our first geocache!!! Heaps of fun. Once we were on the right side of the tracks
This is one of the cache that I have for some reason avoided heading off to take a look for. So today with a need to clean up some local cache this was the one that I started with. LHE duo come along as well, and somehow Mr LHE Duo managed a large cut on his arm, lucky about that time I found the cache so we did not have to venture back in after going back to the car for a little First Aid.

The first find while out with OrionJ this afternoon. It did not take long to have this one found and logged. TFTC
Co-ords spot on. Cache was a little exposed so rearranged with a bit more of the local droppings. Cache dry and OK...TFTC
Hopefully I didn't cross any private property between the end of the street and the rail line.
The cache was a bit exposed which made the find fairly easy. Luckily I had walked away a bit as the man of the house came out to the front yard to load his boat. So I just stood there imaging the trains going past until he went back inside.
