The wheel of challenge has set me on the desire of being sure to get 100 caches this month. I decided to use a part of the Redlands cycle way to get close to 20 caches today but because we only cycled part of it, I scooted around the area to find some more. Especially grateful to the park and grabs as we needed to get home in the near future.
No find here. I really should learn to look for continuous DNFs before driving to a cache.

3 pairs of eyes looking for this but it still evaded us. Hoping it's not been muggled but put a maintenance in as we are now the 3rd user not to find
The only time in my life I have ever got a parking ticket was at Wellington Point. For that reason I knew the parking inspectors were trigger happy in the area so made doubly sure the car was OK where we left it.
We waited for a few people to pass by pretending to be looking for birds. We didn’t see any except the big galah that was standing next to my wife. tftc

Took a little bit of a search but soon had this one in hand. Great location, very beautiful

Took a little bit of hunting down low but a good find in a great place to visit. TFTC
Alyce and I had just finished our Father’s Day lunch at Hogan’s and spotted a few caches nearby so we decided to grab them before heading off.
This was our first cache and we weren’t overly confident we were heading the right, way, but it turns out we were.
Once at GZ we had a quick look around and had the cache in hand after a brief search.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Took me a while. Had to read through some previous logs to get some hints. TFTC
After 2 DNF I headed over to this one for quick easy find. The log was full so I place a new log in cache.

After a lazy start to the end of the week it was just me to sign the log as other crew had previously found this one.
Out with PirateLinda still. TFTC.

This evening after work, the plan was to visit Wellington Point to grab a few geocaches. It was then out towards Wellington Point's peninsula, in particular, Wellington Point Recreation Reserve to attempt to complete Checkpoint 1 of [GCA84D Redlander](https://coord.info/GCA84D), having attempted this multi-cache three times before. During my trip home, I made a stop at Tingalpa Creek reserve, with plenty of cane toads about.
I parked just off the nearby side street, and took the short walk along the paths to see this nice bird hide. Unfortunately, it was quite dark when I visited, so there were no birds about (or perhaps there were, but I just couldn't see them?). Thankfully, I managed to find this cache within a few minutes of my visit, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks tdimdad for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found it. Spent ages waiting out muggles before I could grab the container I spotted as I walked up to GZ. Thanks to OrionJ for placing this cache.

We found it easily but unfortunately didn't see many birds on this occasion but the midges found us.
Well, set out today to meet some friends who have heard of Geocaching and wanted to see what it was. Met for a drink and scone and had a chat first.
Then on to grab a few to see if it is something they might be interested in.
Cache 6 for the day.
Down tot he duck hide. Alex spotted this one fairly quickly this time. Now has our squiggles in the book. Thanks for cache.

Looked everywhere and could not find it. Either we're mentally deficient or it's been moved.
Out for a Friday of caching and we've finally made it to Wellington Point... After having lunch, Giraffe18 has gone home which left Piratelinda, 2manytrailers and I to carry on...
This is actually the second time we've been here... The first was almost a year ago and then GZ was teaming with the local youth on their bikes... today though GZ was all clear...
I swear I looked there... but it was 2manytrailers who spotted the cache... TFTC....

Good thing we had three sets of eyes looking for this one. Peppa went one side, trailers the other while I did the third. Trailers came up with the find this time
Nice quick find, the log was indeed full so I replaced it and signed the new log TFTC!
I’ll send photos of the last log to the CO.

Nice bird viewing area.. Sat for a while and heard them but didn't see them. The log is full and needs replacing. Tftc!
Didn’t see any birds here today however, to be fair, we weren’t here all that long.. Cache is in good nick. TFTC
While I was crawling around avoiding broken glass, making things entirely too difficult for myself, DisSister took a seat, and made a relatively quick and easy find. What’s worse is that I had already glanced in the spot she’d checked and failed to see the geocache – again. It’s not my day. There were only a pair of crested pigeons on our arrival and we didn’t see any other birds, but we could hear quite a few chirping in the nearby trees. Nice and deserted and quiet and calm today. The reflections of the sun on the water would lovely.

A lovely peaceful spot at the end of the street here to gaze out at the wetlands. We could hear a number of birds here, but that is the only way they made their presence known. Beware of the broken glass in the grass surrounding the structure. The log was completely full so we had to squeeze our names along the side of some others. TFTC OrionJ
I was in the area this morning for a CITO event (that apparently I was a week early for :-/ ), so thought I would grab some local caches so as to not waste the trip down.
This cache seemed the best first one to try given its proximity to where I was, so off I went. I was able to park near GZ and wandered over. A great view from here and a lovely little hut. A quick search and I had the cache in hand, log signed and cache replaced. TFTC and for bringing me here.

Nice park and grab , nice and peaceful here good place to have a bite to eat.. Thank you .
I saw there is an upcoming CITO in the area later this month and decided a quick maintenance run to check all the local caches are in good order.
Last stop for this maintenance run and the cache was no where to be seen. I know it does move around the shelter a little, but I could not see it in any of the easy to access spots. So I have replaced with a new Nano. Happy Hunting.

Cheeky little bugger. Got it though. There is only enough space to write one or two dates maximum now.
Our 1st one!!! After a few DNF. Out with alessdp. Thank you. Log has one spot left.
Last time I visited here, there were several young lads poking around, so I didn’t feel that I could give it a good look over. I’m not unhappy about coming back today, because this is a lovely spot. I had it all to myself. All is good with the cache.
We set ourselves a target to find 365 caches by the end of the year. The reward was not just the caches but a curry from one our favourite places.
Despite Covid, broken limbs and genera life getting in the way, we managed it a couple of months ahead of target.
We have been to beaches, Bush, mountains and everything in between. We are now off to get that curry!

Out for a day with OBC and her little ones for an adventure nearby off the coast a bit, but always time for a quick stop along the way.
Thanks tdimdad for entertaining me at this location.

Out and about for a sunny and fun day with the girls and a few add ons . An early coffee, drove out to Wellington Point, walked out to King Island (wow!), had some great ice cream, and then headed back to Wynnum for some fish n chips on the beach while the kids swam in the seawater wading pool. Picked up some great caches along the way and in general had a great time.
This cache was on the list because it starts with the letter 'O'. I am very close to spelling October for the monthly challenge, in fact this cache will enable me to finish it today. Easy find here by the geokids, and we stopped for a photo and to enjoy this little piece of history.
Lovely little spot. TFTC and TB visits
