No planes and no one here, its as if the world stopped so I could find this cache
A nice stroll on soft grass. Have time to kill before our flight home. Geocaching it is. Thanks for the hide
TFTC Woolly_ your cache Final Approach that we found today. Day 3 at West Beach where we are camped in the lead up to the Great Leap Forward mega on the 29th of Feb. After attending the event this morning we returned back to camp. A short discussion saw DiMorgan, Wollaston and ourselves combine forces to cache our way to town to attempt the two web cams that were available. We cached a variety of puzzles, multis, virtual and traditional caches.Great day that resulted in 45 finds for the day (including several ALs)Find Count: 18498
Adelaide Day 2Now camped at the West Beach Park to attend the Leap Day Event.Today I headed out with Wollaston & HansAndLinda , caching our way intowards the city.High on my list todo were the 2 Webcam caches.Thank you to Wallaston for being our driver today. Thanks Woolly_ for hiding this cache.
On a pre Leap Forward hunting expidition with HansAndLinda & DiMorgan. Grabbed this one on route to tonights event. Another great day for caching. TFTC Woolly_
Out tonight to continue the streak and decided to turn this old DNF into a smiley. The eerie sound of a sprinkler in the dark and the possibility of suddenly becoming wet made for a spooky experience worthy of the all hallows eve. The cache was found and signed, though the logbook has seen better days. TFTC
I left home a bit earlier to squeeze in a cache before my event and CITO.
I had been eyeing off this cache for a while and decided today was the day.
I have always been interested in plane spotting as well, always asking my parents if we could stop and watch planes at the airport whenever we passed.
A quick find here today.
Thanks Woolly_ for this cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 2587 on the 15th of March 2023.
I have hosted quite a few CITO's in my time, making huge differences thanks to the people who came along!
Whether you're out finding caches or just taking a stroll somewhere, remember to always be CITO-ing to help maintain our parks and reserves!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

Great spot! Easy find. Waterlogged and we had nothing on us to replace the paper. TFTC
Found the key to this Cache was to approach this cache along the fence line from the south side.

Have come by this cache a few times over the weeks trying to find an opening but with sport being on it was never a good time. Today though it was different and largely had the ground to myself.
Quick retrieval, sign and replace was had after a small search and having the wrong idea at first.
TFTC!

After quite the day it was time to get a walk in and unwind. I headed in the general direction of this cache hoping that the slightly later time meant the area would be a bit quieter. I was lucky today and had the area almost to myself. I found the cache pretty quickly but was then muggled by a Qantas flight! All in good condition here. TFTC Woolly
Out and about with my wheeled geobuddy... A nice easy hide quick to find... TFTC left a Twinkle Star
The only thing on the agenda on a quiet Easter Monday was to head down towards the Airport and grab a few solved mystery caches in the general vicinity. I didn't go into Ikea...but it looked busy. I didn't go into Bunnings...but it looked busy. This cache was obviously not near the airport, but was on the way. The busyness factor at GZ was quite in contrast to the other spots I mentioned. There were no tennis players, cricketers, soccer players or dog walkers and as a result the cache was easily found. TFTC.
Lot of muggles around and the hound was very near gz worried about the hound that was watching me eventually muggles went cache in hand tftc see Sharon babe another cache ticked off lol love you babe
Headed out this morning to collect a few caches in the western suburbs, came past this cache last year but some council workers were doing something near HZ, back today and the coast was clear. Saw the cache tucked away on approach. Cache and contents are all good

No planes passed over while I was here, but hopefully there will be more air traffic later this year. No cricket happening either, making for an uninterrupted find. Cheers.
seems today is a case of 2nd visits!... this one is very fiddly and can see how easily you could lose it! thanks
Found it. Pie_mom dropped the log but we replaced it with a scrap of paper we had ok us.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Whoops, sorry Woolly_ ,I accidentally dropped the log as I was retrieving the cache. I had nothing to reach the dropped log, so there is now just a piece of paper, and no plastic bag, in the cache.
It was jammed in but geohusband go it out. Log needs maintenance as it is very dirty. Tftc
Perhaps I should have looked for one in Glenelg on international palindrome day, but circumstances had me here. Quick find, but I had to write nice and tiny to squeeze into the log. Could do with some fresh paper. TFTC.
Thank You for holding this cache! Was a quick and very easy find but I had no pen so I took a photo instead!
In town and chasing the new pokemon, this was an easy grab while hubby caught a durant. TFTC!
One plane made its final approach while we were looking for this cache. Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. The logbook nèeds attention as it is full and recent finders are writing over the logs of previous finders. Thanks for the cache.
Found hopefully stelthely.
A few muggles around.
Needs new log or at least some paper.
Log is totally full. I wrote over a previous faded entry.

Dropped muggles travelling companion at airport for her flight to Alice springs my flight to Melbourne isn't for a few hours so may as well find a cache or 3. Thanks for the cache #5987. A quick find and sign at gz
Early morning drive to drop son (Luke) off at the airport, where he was meeting with 9 other boys and 2 teachers and heading over to Singapore and Cambodia to do some work in a self help community village. As you can imagine we are all very proud, excited and nervous.
While at the airport another mum and I got speaking, what do you know, 2 geocachers….. the lessons began! Kids interested and willing, teachers interested and willing so one muggle kid downloaded the ap and had a quick lesson on how to use it, he added me on Instagram for if he needs help. My son knows what to do thankfully but has never actually used the ap.... it was a very interesting morning all about caching, and after teaching them and seeing them off, we were thankful for the ease of finding a cache ourselves without the stress of teenagers. This is going to be a very interesting time for them, lol lets hope we make some geocachers out of them yet!!!

I thought the field looked quiet but a very excitable doggo with owner made it difficult. Will come back another time.
Jumped on the pushbike for another lunchtime caching expedition from the CBD.
Found quickly thanks to accurate coords. Signed log

A nice playing field which was busy with some kind of dog obedience group gathered over the other side. Also got to see the spectacular approach of a jet while I was here, lights and all! TFTC
No planes, no sports, no problems. Pretty sure the flight curfew had kicked in at this time of night.
TFTC.
Log book very full and fragile. I think I found a spot to sign but might have been over another log entry (signed in the dark).

Took the dog for a drive and run in the park and grab this cache and found out why its called final approach TFTC
Found on a post-show caching run with Pony1966, very quiet in the early hours... apart from the house party winding down nearby! It was exposed, so got a quick grab and replaced a bit more out of sight. TFTC
Fancied a cache on the way to work as I was traveling separately from the husband who can't be late. Picked this one out and headed here this morning in the dark. Made a quick retrieval of a nice dry cache in between showers. 4 planes passed overhead as I made the walk to and from the car and signed the log. TFTC

My weekend was now over, it was time to head back to the airport. This time, through Henley Beach Road, grabbing any caches I could along the way. Plenty of people playing tennis nearby. Thanks for the cache, Woolly.

Me and Ahomburg have now hit the road on the journey back home. After attending the red centre experience event in Alice springs.
What an amazing trip this has been.
The first stop on the way home was kings Canyon.
Second stop will be Coober Pedy.
Third stop is Woomera.
Forth stop ? Heading for a FTF and staying in a cabin to get out of the bad weather.
Fifth stop. Swan Reach.
Sixth stop. Gawler.
And the last stop will be Adelaide then home.
Thanks for the cache.

Find #8564
Today was a day of caching in and around Adelaide with lukie1987 after a massive road trip to Alice, it was a relief to be driving such a short distance today.
Sick and tired of the CBD traffic, we moved out a little to catch the ocean.
Many thanks to Woolly_ for the cache. TNLN.
