Great views of the sand dunes.I kept on moving around and spied it from a different angle.Thanks.
On a caching journey up to the north with Supernannny and Net61 to find some caches. Many kilometres were driven over a few days and many caches were found. Thanks to all the cache owners for the placements. Quick stop here. We met a couple of divers walking up from the beach with empty dive bags. With 3 sets of eyes the cache was soon spotted lower down than expected. TFTC
Found exactly as described. What a lovely beach and even better marlin gates. Cache is all good., TFTC
Another lonely cache that has not been visited for a while. Makes the looking a little more interesting as there are no obvious signs of human interference with then undergrowth. Still found it. TFTC
Another great view of the sand dunes.
I’m on a roadie north to complete the PWGT and find other interesting caches - oldies, puzzles and ones at interesting places.
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache butchie bum.

Well it might be close to the views but man was my eyesight playing up here. I scanned down up, interior, exterior, you name it. Just could not see anything hanging on that plant. With precious minutes counting down I had to head for the virtual.
One of several caches we located today travelling from Kaikohe via Opononi to Dargaville. Took a brief moment to spot this one. #4701. TFTC.
Yep got this one snagged and tagged. cheers.
Day 8, Thursday 27 January - from Tokerau Beach dropping down leaving Zara in KeriKeri. Then exploring Kaikohe, Opononi and Omapere with Toby and Lenny, before returning to Zara in KeriKeri. The fishy series this morning before leaving Tokerau B. Lots to do so lets get moving!
Zara, Toby, Lenny and I are on our North Island expidition for a couple of weeks. Got The Seagnoid along for the first 4 days, heading to the Auckland Mega. PWGTs and TMGTs are on the radar for this trip. Lots of driving on gravel roads and visited lots of amazing places on our 6000km road trip snagging 200+ caches along the way. Visiting Cape Reinga, Bay of Islands, Gisborne and White Rock along our journey. Another awesome trip. Thanks to all CO's.

Stopped in to check this cache today being 5/5/2021 and yes was missing. So I have replaced it with new container very close to gz. changed the hint for an easy find.
We trusted our gps and looked at the base of everything we could find where our gps showed us. We even came back with reinforcements and an extra phone to see if that gave us a different GZ, but still no luck.
We did however do our good turn for the end of the year and sent Daddypig123 home for the jump leads to help somebody start their ute.

My first time in the Hokianga Harbour! We rented a waterfront bach in Omapure and stayed for a couple of nights with the family. This was one of my first finds ever as I started geocaching years ago but then had a baby and then another one... and I've been too busy for treasures. However, as I did a quick check on the app for GC in the area I found this one was only 200m from the bach! So I couldn't resist and escaped with my 3 year old to find it... And yaaay! We did... tried to explain the game to my daughter but she seemed to be a bit puzzled about this whole GC thing (all she wanted was to draw in the logbook, but don't worry I didn't let her , I'm sure she'll get it one day and I hope this is just the first of many we'll find together... We all enjoyed the trip and we'll certainly come back, perhaps then I'll find a few more, thanks!
We wanted more finds for today's calendar date, so we planned a trip to Opononi to find some of the Golden Circle Series. Rain was forecast but it mostly held off until our last few finds, though the very strong winds were challenging at times! Some of the finds had us hunting for a while, but we had no DNFs until the last cache on our list.
We spied the Marlin Gates as we approached, but the GPS was directing our attention elsewhere. Wandered over and couldn't see anything at our assumed GZ. Then spied where the container was hiding. Nice spot, thanks, but a little too windy today to fully appreciate it. TFTC

Out on a mission today, to collect as many caches as possible toward the Hidden Creatures souvenirs. With very few unfound local caches, a decent journey was required. Left at dawn and covered over 300km through the winding gravel back roads of Northland, passing through Twin Bridges, Donnelley's Crossing, Waipoua forest, Omapere, Opononi and Taheke, before the heavy rain finally set in. This heavy rain, combined with the sunset, put a halt to further searching, so had to settle in the end for 29 finds and 7 DNFs for the day.
Made it to Omapere now, so time to look for as many here as possible. Grass seemed a bit boggy after the rain, so pulled off the road 80 metres past GZ and walked back. Cache was not where I originally imagined, but was a quick find in the logical place, once I trusted the GPS. TFTC

Wasn’t quite sure about this, but followed the GPS which took me straight there for a quick find. Thank-you butchie bum for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Out caching with Will of the Wisp on our “Round the World in 80 Days” trip to celebrate retirement. Signing logs with our names or initials depending on space. Greetings from England, TFTC.
Enjoyed this spot for family beach fun, and then found the cache as a bonus. TFTC

Thanks for the maintenance on this one. I have been after this one for ages and it was just not there. Park was a bit wet underfoot, had to use 4WD to get the geo wagon moving again. TFTC.
Looked at the post and at the foot of the cliff below, but couldn't locate it.
The travelling fox is disappointed =u_u=
