A nice easy find here while in the area this afternoon, cache was in the first place I looked. Only four-legged muggles on the other side of a fence to contend with today. TFTC!

Cache had been muggled, container open and logs bag strewn about. However, still dry so much have been today. Log signed. Cache returned to a likely looking spot on the low side of the log.

Found the small plastic jar.

I found it the other day, Dont know why it didnt post. Nice spot, Near the tree, It was a bluebox.. Reccomend that people put good stuff tho

I have been visiting friends in Auckland and Northland for my xmas and new years holidays, and tomorrow I have to start the log slog back south again. But after all the rain we have had over the last few days, it was great to see the sun back today, which meant I could go and try for a few last caches before the trip home.It's been a few years since I was last up this way, so I thought I'd look to get a few of the caches that have been published since then as well as one or two that I hadn't previously found such as this one. By now I was caching on borrowed time so to speak, as dinner would be ready soon so I was hoping for a quick find, and I wasn't disappointed. Good co-ords and the Hint took me straight to it. No real issues to report here, so once I'd signed the log the whole lot was replaced ready for the next finder.Thanks for setting this cache up, and Happy New Year for 2024

NZTravellers, myself and Keylev decided to have a little get together and have dinner! However, Keylev wanted to make sure that there was indeed some caching activites to be had before said dinner! Really, you needed to ask?!

That's a HUGE log! Found it after Keylev made a quick call. I jumped the fence and there it was. TFTC

Took a while the nav was off by 10 metres

Found it after some rummaging around the bush. GPS was about 10m off, but found it in the end. TFTC

Was worried that this would be hard to find, but it wasn't covered at all. Put it in a slightly more concealed location close to where we found it. Still visible but not just lying there

Second visit to the area. I soon figured out what I was doing wrong the first time. What a spectacular log! Cache found quickly as soon as I was at the right area. Recovered a little bit better, but muggles shouldn't notice anyway. TFTC
