Logs
Looked in all the obvious places, the not so obvious places, had a boost up to check thoroughly and re-read the logs hoping for more hints but still no treasure.
Spotted easily, but challenging to retrieve!
I eventually managed it with the aid of a stick.
After signing, a muggle walked past and proceeded to do his exercises nearby, so I left with the cach in my pocket and returned in (again with help from the stick) about 15 minutes later.
Thanks.

An easy find but not so easy retrieve and hide when geokids want to do the retrieving and hiding and weigh more than my arms want to lift. TFTC TNGD - will definitely be back to continue the series.
Scootering, riding and wlaking on from CC 1, Mack96, the kids, the geohound, the geomutt and I arrived at this location. There was really only one place for this one to be.
The three kids all want to get it. Lift, wobble, snatch and it was retreived. A similar process was used to replace it. TFTC

Geocache #669.
Found on Monday, 9th September 2013 at 8:23 PM.
Conditions: clear.
Current streak #40 days.
Today's finds 52 of 52.
My 568th find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013. With just over a week of the competition remaining, I had some leave owing and decided to take it for a geo-adventure in the Australian Capital Territory and Canberra. What a way to celebrate Canberra's centenary, as well as the Federal election!
On day two of my trip, and after completing the NRL power trail early this morning, I continued the search for more in the evening. Once at GZ, it was a quick find and I soon had the CIH and signed the log. TFTC The Notoriously Gay Duo.

#740 - 08:55; A nice quick find as the last of three on a morning run in Curtin on the way to work. Had to wait for a passing muggle to make the grab and then another, plus one on bike, to return the cache to its hiding spot after completing the log. TFTC TNGD and another of the series now completed
Hang onto your hats, I am going to give a mint tin a favourite point! For regular readers, don't worry, it isn't really about the cache but more my experience yesterday. Car was in for its annual service in Woden yesterday so I walked home to Deakin after dropping it in Woden. As I walked along the path, I noticed this cache was much lower on the sign post than the last time I looked at it. All good, I might make this my daily cache tomorrow (today) - still with me? Well, in the afternoon when I returned along the path to pick up car, I was just gazing up into the trees nearby when something caught my eye. Brilliant camo, no movement just an unusual shape on a branch. Only had the iPhone with me but if you look closely, there is a tawny frogmouth. An amazing bird and it really made my day as they are owl-like in their habits and extremely hard to spot during the day. So this morning, took the SLR with a 200 mm lense but the tree was overrun with cockatoos. Oh well, and the mint tin had moved (yep another finder yesterday) and I needed a stick to beat it into submission. So future finders, if you read this before going for the hunt, check those trees to the North carefully as Frogmouth's tend to roost in the day at the same place. Normal transmission now resume!
Lol my second cacheing injury to date. Only minor. TFTC. A cold evening walk.
Headed down to Canberra with Hoojar today, we grabbed a plethora of caches of which this was one of them. The cold weather of Canberra took us a little by surprise so we made sure we were constantly on the move.
A nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Some of this series proved challenging in more ways than one.
Apologies for the duplicate logs. It shouldn't detract from the fun we had finding these caches.
Thanks

Found on a Canberra Caching Spree with The Rats. The weather was cold and grey, the weatherman lied when he predicted 17 degrees and sunny. The thermometer only push over 10 degrees for about five minutes!
Anotehr walk, another great find in this series. Wonderful variety.
Cheers

Sunday 10 March 2013 - a hot autumn day at 31 degrees Celsius with clouds in the sunny sky. Bike riding in the burbs while the rest of Canbera is celebrating its 100 years back in the city. Quick and easy find. Thx p2p, TFTC
This was a challenge this one-had to wait out the cycling muggles and then I wasn't tall enough to reach it, I'm not short mind you! Then I thought "Maybe a stick would help?"...someone must've thought the same before me as there was one lying on the grass just feet away! Came in rather handy for the retrieval and the replacement! Thanks for another one, guys!
Had a great time collecting fourteen of this series on a lovely morning. Just love the magpies!. TFTC
Down from Sydney on business. Nice to find a quick cache down here in an area I would not normally visit. Broke my fingernail retrieving the cache. Very painful. Thanks for hiding one here. Cheers.
'2013: 28 Days In A Row' - Found on our way back from the nearby caching event. Parked nearby, followed by a quick find. TFTC
Aaaaand stretch!!!!
(apparently i dont get my ...height from my father clearly)

Well for those of us who are vertically challenged this was an interesting challenge. Once again not muggles about. TFTC
The last one for Vombatus and I today. We think we have done 15 or so since about 2pm. TFTCs TNGD.
A nice easy find on a nice day's caching with Crazeecat. Good thing that I am just tall enough for this cache

Easy to get to, easy to locate, but no easy to see. I had the wrong angle to get a clear view. Luckily I had another attribute that helped in the second issue. Spiders dealt with and the log signed.
It was an easy find - I had spotted it last visit, but couldn't reach it. This time I tried a stick, but that didn't work, so I used my bicycle pump and that worked as it had an end that would hook the cache down. I wondered if I would be able to get the cache back to its spot again, but I managed.
Before I started poking with the stick I looked around and seeing no-one in sight got to it. As I was in full stick poking mode a cyclist appeared and I got a real weird look as she cycled past.

I arrived at GZ to find that the cache placed at about 2.5 star terrain, rather than 1.5, so I had to locate a suitable stick to try and retrieve it. Finally managed to get it down, and fortunately nobody went past while I was concentrating on the task, as that would have been tricky to explain. From the logbook, the last find was by "fake ass username" on 4 Oct, so draw your own conclusions. I replaced the cache at a height that I could reach fairly easily, but may be harder for the height challenged.
TNLN - Thanks TNGD!

I spotted this cache as I walked towards it, but am not tall enough to reach it. I need to return with a ladder. This was the second cache disappointingly out of my average height reach today.
24th find on a ride around the suburb of Curtin with allrounder and Shadow! A nice easy find seeing it as we approached.

Found @ 3:50pm with hccatcher11415 and Shadow! on a cycling expedition around Curtin. This was 23 of 25 caches attempted for the day.
In contrast to the previous two, this one was an easy find as we all spied it on approach. Thanks again TNGD!

Third for the day and Ju initially went to grab this one but didn't have the necessary attributes so I soon joined her for a nice quick find. TFTC
We have had a wonderful 2 week holiday in Fiji, but were only able to look for one cache, so it was time to go caching again. We thought it was about time to tackle these Curtin Connection caches. This was a nice easy find and our last for the day. Thanks TNGD for all the caches today. TNLNSL TFTC
Lovely day today but coldest.... Great enjoyed trip around at curtin of your 20 caches placed.... really excellent hide very well, thanks
Last time I was too short... This time I had my bike to give me a boost! TFTC, cute pen!
A morning walk with dad in the new suburb he lives in meant time to pick up some ACT caches. Another quick find on a cold winters morning, making this one 3 for the day so far. TFTC
Managed to arrive at GZ when there were no muggles about, no easy feat in the early afternoon. TFTC
#745: We walked to this one from I and made the find, signed the log and replaced the cache before the walking down the path caught up to us.
Reperio at 1305.
Spent most of the morning caching around Curtin, and predominantly picking up most of this series, and this was the last one in the series for me today. With light rain falling, it was good that this was a straight forward find, but certainly a very exposed spot. Enjoyed the tour of Curtin, and surely you can't fit anymore in the Suburb...can you?

Out on a Mothers day caching run. Short asses need not apply As we returned to the car, people from a nearby house asked us "Did you find it?" Obviously they are in on it. TFTC
OK, I am concluding that one or both of you are tall, after doing several of your caches so far I had to call Mr Winglen over from the car to assist with this one! TFTC!
I decided all these caches would be quicker by bike and this was the first stop really. A quick find and on my way to the next one. TFTC!
Out and about with Geojunkies, well getting this one is a little challenging were both short and one is 40 week pregnant! Jumping up and down up and down in between all the bikers, there's more to this caching expierience but thats another story. Had fun . TFTC

Thought this might be a good one while 40weeks pregnant. I was glad to have some company to help make the grab- j+j.au managed to make the grab and we even had someone ask if they could help us (perhaps they though I was going into labor) TFTC!
Out and about and while never of us was tall enough Code 1 watched the workers while I jumped to retrive. The log signed and muggles passed by. Then it was time to jump back up to rehide this one.

Quick grab as the lady raking leaves up the street turned her back.
Lots of people about on a lovely Autumn day.

What a fantastic day to be out caching. Spent the day with a good mate and picked up a few urban caches and finished off with a good walk to Stony Creek.
A great day with a great friend.
Captain Tomato and I found 26 caches on a run around town on a beautiful blue sky Autumn day with absolutely magic Autumn leaves. Great to be out and about and paying attention to the details of nature - every Autumn leaf is different - and to all the different gardens around Canberra. Some interesting history, some interesting sculptures, a variety of cache hides, some trads, some multis and even a Wherigo - and at the end a very enjoyable and picturesque, medium length bushwalk in the late afternoon down to Stony Creek

Beautiful, quiet suburb. This was our second for the day. (Geoteen wanted to do the series in order) TFTC!
A great night of caching with the WEEO. I liked this cache and the good and simple hide. We were suprised to find it on the ground but easy to see where it went and we were off down the path in the dark.
I spent a great evening night caching with my geoson, we walked for miles and got lots. TFTC TNGD
One of the Curtin Connections found today. Spotted the cache easily, but retrieving it from it's hiding spot was a challenge. After a bit, the log was signed and put back in it's spot. Nice area. Thanks TNGD!
The task today...walk from my place and find all 20 Curtin Connection Caches on foot and then return....
This is the street I grew up in...this is also very close to the scene of the great bike implosion of '77....(or thereabouts) where my baby bro' hurtled down the hill, hit the curb (there was no dip for paths back then) and flew magestically over the handlebars. I think he was crying more because his bike actually broke in half...
I sent Doppelfrog off to retrieve the cache whilst I took photos and reminisced.

Out on a mission with BatGirlandCo today: all of Curtin Connection, on foot, starting in Kambah.
Another not-too-hard find with this one, although the weather was starting to close in a little.
Batgirl came over all photographic at this point and left me to do the actual caching.

A delicious autumn day in the mighty suburb of Curtin. Very peaceful on the weekend here. Cache is in good condition and unlikely to be muggled from current position. Thanks
357. Obviously we visited this one after the maintenance. Found with the B in law whilst the kids were walking the X country course at the horse trials. TFTC.
JB666: You are not going blind (at least not on this one ). Checked it out today after returning from the coast and it had been muggled. Container replaced and it is ready to go. Thanks for the heads up JB666!
