Logs
This one is gone. I have done a cache check and spent a good 30 mins looking for it however I believe it's gone. I have opened this spot for other caches. Thanks to all who found it.
2 dnfs in a row for me in Coffs Harbour. Read all the logs which took me to a fig tree - but no luck
This one is up for adoption. I am unable to maintain it anymore so anyone who wants it can have it otherwise it will be archived in a month.
As I help hide it I thought I should log it as a find. However only doing this after it has been claimed by someone else for ftf.

Will try to fix the log issue soon, however if a geocacher has some spare paper to put in the cache to use for now that would be great.

Quick find. Thabks for the hide. Needs replacement log (notepad paper) on next visit it is now full and I didnt have any paper on me. Thanks
Agree with previous cachers that the correct spot is a little way off from the coords. Also, in my opinion, the tree is not notable for its grooves (as is suggested in the geocache description).
It's a lovely tree though, and the surrounding area is very pleasant We were there in the late afternoon (around 5pm) and only a handful of people were about, so there were no issues with being seen retrieving the cache.
NB: The notepaper log is just about full. I'd suggest bringing a new sheet of notepaper (approx 2x4 inch spiral notebook type, lined) to restock the log. (Will also lodge a maintenance request to the owner).

Took awhile, read other logs which helped a lot. Forgot pen as I'm down here to play touch. Took photoTFTF
Definitely no swimming in the creek but searching further field as suggested found this well camouflaged cache. Just had to find the one thing out of place and we were on to it, great natural hide and a lovely walk beside the creek before we found it. Left a roo pin. Took bell.
Came hunting on my lunch break, took a little while to scratch is out but found eventually! TFTC
As others have stated its SW of the position given. Nicely naturally hidden. TFTC.
This took some searching. Read previous logs and so widened the search and it was found.
Nice quick one while at the pool for the kids swimming carnival. (Found with 'Doogle06') TFTC.
Found while in Coffs with Liverpool SES for the big hailstorm clean up. One of our muggle SES members found it for me!
It was found about 12m SW of where the GPSr wanted us.

Finally a find for today. I was losing momentum with two DNF. Left a couple pins. Thanks from Canada.

Our first Coffs Harbour Cache. Some great tips for us newbies. Found and SL and returned.
#2308
Came past to try for this little series as well this afternoon. Parked and walked over the field to GZ. Then started searching. Checked some logs and the hint before realising that the coords are off a little. Expanded my search and made the find. SL and replaced. TFTC.

Wish we'd read previous logs before poking around where the jumping GPS took us, would have saved a bit of bark scratches and a few minutes! On moving our search area cache was found in a matter of seconds; pays to read the logs!!

Found on our trip to the Gold Coast for a wedding. Parked next to the pool and crossed the oval. Got to the fig tree (love this type) for a very quick find. Nice hide and area. TFTC!
I hoped I did not need to go swimming here
A couple of kayakers did drift by while I was searching though
With a dodgy GZ that put me in the middle of the grassy areas, I had not choice but to head for the most likely place that the clue suggested
I drew me magic magnetic wand out of me pocket for this cache chase in the hope that it was an "Eclipse" or something with a bit of metal attached
That worked and after a bit of poking around I found a cache attached to the end of the wand [^]
The coords are a bit out !!

Walked across a REAL footy field to make this quick find.
Thanks, and AFL rules!!

It didn't take long to get this one as I found the co-ord's a little out but spotted the likely place. TFTC
We were having no luck in our search. A look at previous logs told us what we thought all along . . . and sure enough it was there. TFTC Team Zawadzki.
Took us a while to think laterally. Co-ords seemed to be out 15m according to the app on the phone. SL. TFTC.
Very tempted to go swimming!
Cache found with TilleyTB. She enjoyed the walk! Gps had me a bit out too, but my geosense told me where to look. Tftc

In the area on a short holiday with my family. GPS coordinates are a bit out (more than satelite error). After widening my search, a quick and easy find.
After camping too close to the highway last night and having a bit of a restless night we got off to a bit of a slow start and still travelling with The Drovers making our way towards Stanthorpe picking up us many caches that we can get whilst we are towing.
We were happy to find that the nearby sporting facilities weren't in use today as we parked and walked across to gz. Once there we all started searching but after our ten minutes still had nothing to show for it. We checked some of the previous logs and found that we weren't the only ones having problems and another set of co-ords in a log from another finder soon had us with a relatively quick find and our names are in the log even though we were 24mts from where we were originally searching.
Thanks for the cache.

Travelling north with Team Crackers, we enjoyed the drive and and the great views.
There was a variety of cache hides along the way, and all well hidden.

We were in Coffs Harbour for the Easter weekend with our 4WD Club, but managed to sneak in a bit of geocaching while in the area. Our GPS took us well past GZ - just as well for previous logs suggesting we should look elsewhere. Thank you for having placed the cache Team Zawdzki
Thanks for bringing us to this area Team Zawadski and showing us the local swimming pool as well as another part of the cycle way. Congrats must go to the council for developing this area so respectfully. We are glad you showed us these areas by placing caches here.
When you don't find it at one tree check the next one ,it wasn't hard to find, the cache that is,the right tree was harder, but had it within 10mins.Good cache and enjoyed the walk down past the swimming pool,TFTC.Team Zawadzki.
Nice stroll on path near river, a bit searched for half hr as find one was 20m out of the path... Cache well.. TFTC
Tried to use the new coords, but they put us about 15m from where we found it. We first looked at the light pole, but even then the GPS was pointing 10m out into the field. Headed for the hint and then found it under the first tjing we looked at.
Cheers from Browngang

A very nice stroll along cycleway. Some other hiding technique would make cache more pleasant to search. I found it rather far from listed coords and measured those above. Perhaps they are some help for someone else...
Having attempted this one earlier in the year with no success, while in the area again I picked up the same camo 10 times before finding the cache!!!
Finally!!!! Thanks Tean Zawadzki.
Finally!!!! Thanks Tean Zawadzki.
Co-ords about 15 m out but earlier comments helped us find it easily. tFTC
Hard find but after putting a couple of comments together found it... Co are way off!
Co rods were about 6 meters off, a local cricket team were playing on the oval, which made for a nice walk. Thanks.
Coordinates did seem a bit off, but my gps is not very good. The comments and hint about tree pointed me in the right direction! TFTC.
Find # 3908 on a roam around Coffs by car and bike.
Nice ride and after a long search, I found it about 20m away.
Co-ords need to be updated. TFTC.

Took a while to find this. Searched everywhere at GZ. Then extended my search area and soon had the cache to hand in fading afternoon light. TFTC
Practically walked right up to this one. But, having again forgotten my pen, had to double back to the car.
found after a long stroll from the wrong end. co-ords definitely about 13/14 meters out. signed log and replaced TFTC
A fairly quick find after reading the previous logs. The listed co-ords were about 17m out for me also. TFTC.
Found it with Mel78. TFTC. SL.

1366 - Our first find of the day when we grabbed this one at 1:31pm. After searching the tree closer to the track which a lot of people had searched before us, we widened our search area a bit and found the cache in the second location we searched. As we returned the cache to its hide, the Swans scored a goal to put them ahead of the visiting team by 28 to nil. Thanks for the cache Team Zawadzki.
On arriving in Coff's the weather was so nice that we decided to stay a few days. This one was found on an evening walk on our first night there. A bit off the co-ords I thought but someones log mentioning a nice tree gave me the clue I needed.
Thanks Team Zawadski
Thanks Team Zawadski
Moose and Lloydelicious went straight to the right place then slopped about in the mud for a while thinking we'd found GZ too easily, but no, there it was, just as described. TFTC
A pleasant walk in this area at most times of the day, but a bit dodgy at others, with some less than savoury park users frequenting this area. Had been past here many times, so had a fair idea of where to look. Sierra Sleuth flew in quickly and had the cache in hand in less than 5 seconds... wow! Major GAFF1 for the sleuth. A quick find today. TFTC SL

2200 Having been here a couple of time was trying really hard not to make this another DNF. Searched for at least 20 min before going out even wider (prob 15-18m from GZ, depending on the satellites).
Hadn't searched here the other times.

Good one! Initially the coords had me 17m away from cache near a big tree many people have searched around. Just about to chuck it in and found it! TFTC!!
This one took us a while as the co-ords weren't quite spot on, nice camo. TFTC. Found in the company of Rusty Dutchman and The Pheebster.
We found it! yay! after about 20 minutes looking at about 5 different trees finally found it! Roots
TFTC in company of iLocate and Rusty dutchman! Excellent spot for the dog and to kick a soccer ball around. Not very high muggle area but keep an eye out for them.

Coords put us in a little clearing, so we just searched in the vicinity and a few trees later, spotted a likely hide and then had cache in hand. TFTC. With iLocate and The Pheebster (last find for her birthday, yay!).
0825 - 0915 having already wet shoes from being axled overnight I was prepared for the wet oval.
Searched High, searched low ('GAFF1' coords only); but having since read the sheet and logs I probably should have persisted further away.
I may be tempted another day.

We found this one in the second groovy tree we searched.
Thanks for getting us out in this glorious autumn day.

I have no idea when I will be able to fix the coords on this one. So if somebody who finds it gets a accurate reding then I will use those coords instead of mine.
Cache on!
Cache on!
Should have bought my gum boots to walk across the oval it was like a pool today, a lot of council workers here may be a water main broke.
Very hard to find GZ, so mainly went for searching for a tree with lots of grooves.
Eventually found & Logged. TFTC

Widened search as co-ords had us in the middle of a clearing...grooves or roots?? likely spot noticed when close and cache in hand...TFTC
As per logs we widened our search..a few possibilities but when near the right one spotted likely hiding spot..still very muddy..dont recommend wearing thongs for this one...Earthly was prepared for todays swamp and bog, wearing boots so as not to suffer leeches and very muddy feet..but this leech bitten, muddy footed cacher is still smiling as i remain with this find, the cache king for the day!!
Went back for another look today, and this time found it on my 4th attempt. Yes, the coordinates are out, but why I didn't find this before knnoowing that others had said the coordinates are out I don'ty know. However, got it.
Nearly gave up but eventually found, I think your caches need more accurate coordinates or better hints as I have had to give up on a few of them, TFTC Team Zawadzki!!
Hmmm.... others have found it. Buut I've looked 3 times now with no luck. Sigh!
