This one always pesters me driving down the coast being so close to the highway. Alas it will stay that way for the moment with no luck for me in the failing light.

28-Aug-13
Went to the wrong side of the bridge first, GPS settled down and I soon found it.
Nice hide Smile

Third time down here looking for this one and still couldn't find it Sad

17-Aug-13
A long-ish search around but no luck for me today...

05-Aug-13
Came in from the highway side and followed a clear-cut path to GZ. Much less of a bush-bash than I had feared. GPS took me to the wrong set of foundations but once I had exhausted all possible hiding places there I looked at the other side and found it quite quickly.

Yay and yay again! Almost muggled by a bloke with a dog. Had a couple of visits here but bad light stopped play, so really pleased to log this one. Took a poker chip, left a bouncy ball. SL TFTC Zookeeper

A quick stop this time coming in from the highway. Found it within seconds, can't believe I missed it last time as the colour of the lid was very obvious!

Wasn't to hopefull after the last couple of DNF but had to give it a go anyway. Arrived from the Tomerong side and carefully (it was wet and very slipery) went down to the creek. Searched a bit but than decided to call for help. A previous finder told me quit in detail were to look, but even that didn't help! Is it gone, did I really overlook the obvious? Time will tell.

Looked all over foundations , maybe owner needs to follow up??

26-Dec-12
Tried looking everywhere for this one as we had no reception or gps signal on the phone so had no idea where to start. Will try again soon with a better gps.

02-Dec-12
Attempted this one from the hwy before heading home to Cbr. Prickly weeds and an indecisive GPS meant this one is a DNF for us. A nice spot though - the geo-hubby wants to return with the MTB.

We somehow missed logging this one before. Maybe the phone was having signal problem.
Crossing to the other side was an obvious mistake as Donna got the find again.

On a glorious spring day, Mini-Roo and Lucy had decided to head down to Huskisson for an icecream on Lucy's new toy the Mean Green Geomachine. After a couple of caches and an icecream, it was time to head home - the long way of course, so we rode most of the way to GZ but didn't attempt the creek crossing (the Geomachine is NOT a dirt bike), then proceeded to search for the cache. The creek was running after the recent rain and was a pleasant sight and sound. There was a rather large and gleaming red-bellied black snake draped over one nearby object sunning itself, fortunately the arrow was pointing to the other object, where we soon located the cache. Thanks Zookeeper88 for the cache.

Finally we found it.... No leeches today, the creek is looking a little stagnant. TFTC

Found with J+J on a 'Easy does it' spring Sunday. Looked for this one before and as is always the case don't know how we missed it. Great to get this one ticked off . SL.TFTC

At last, YAY!!!!!!!!! Although I have to confess to PAF option, and previous finder's hints on location, led me to it. My GPS had GZ on the "other" side, so I now re-examined "this" side and found it before the leeches had time to find me!

TFTC Zookeeper88, never knew this old bridge was here.

Wet wet wet but happy to find it. Was ready to go home so had one last half hearted poke around and there it was. Took a gambling chip and left a pineapple. Best to drive down all the way and stay on this side. Egads! Leeches all over me Smile. And muddy shoes. The things we do for a cache Smile. Tftc

Well, at least I found my sunglasses, Cool and I didn't get 'leeched" this time!

Still can't find that micro though!

17-Jul-12
Not only didn't I find the cache, but I LOST MY SUNGLASSES HERE! I've left a note in a fake cache (eclipse tin) with my phone number in case anyone finds them. This is the 2nd pair of PRESCRIPTION glasses I've lost while caching - it's getting to be an expensive hobby.

I'm going back tomorrow to look for them, so if anyone else is planning to look for this cache tomorrow I'll be there about 10ish.

We have been here on 3 different occasion and no smiles for us. The GPS jumps from one side to the other, spent ages with no find for us, Thanks : (

We were keen to find this one on our visit to the coast but did not expect it to be as hard as it was. We spent what seemed like ages here - thanks to RiverRuners for the tip of driving beyond the end of the tar. We too spent time on both sides of the creek - our GPS showed it on the opposite side of the creek than it actually was. There were so many spiky vines here, Enzo got way scratched up and was very frustrated. Zita was just poking around half-heartedly when she saw it. He was not very impressed... We are glad that we finally found this one, it would have been horrible to drive back to Canberra with a DNF. TNLNSL TFTC!! Smile

Congrats Riverrunner on FTF

I saw this one pop up last night while looking for some caches in the Braidwood area. I was lamenting the fact that I was probably the only local cacher that had not gone to the Mega Oz event in Albury. I guess the advantage is that I had a good chance of a FTF. I parked at the end of the tar and walked about 400mts, I could have easily driven to within 50mts. The gizmo got confused under the trees and I was from one side of the creek to the other before I decided on the right side (or was that the left side !).
A nice little hide, but beware there is lantana & blackberries in the vicinity.
SL, left keyring. TFTC Zookeeper88
