Logs
Farmer Frentzen, The Rats and and I were heading to the Mid North Coast. Our goal: The Mid North Coast Wander (along with a few extra caches thrown in for good measure.)
Sadly we could not find this cache today.
Cheers

Attempted during a run around Harrington with The Rats and Hoojar.
Unfortunately this one eluded us today.
Thanks Daedalos for the hunt.

We had no luck here today, probably if we'd spent longer on the task but we had more to find.
Maybe next time.

# 4579. Caching today with Robmc. Having done more of the MNCW this morning and a few caches at Coopernook we decided to continue to Harrington to find a few more that have popped up since we were in the area late last year.
I like these camouflaged containers but it took a while to spot. I think I was lucky to spy it but it was easier from beyond the fence.
Thanks Daedalos

After spending the morning finishing off the other power trail in the area with Bettyboo, we had lunch at Coopernook Pub and made our way down to Harrington.
We were sure we knew what we were looking for, it was just a matter of exactly where it was.
BB spotted it first, right in front of me!
Thanks, Robmc.

I stood by the fence looking longingly to the other side for any sign of one of these horrible, horrible cache containers [:o]
It took 10 minutes, but finally persistence paid
I wandered into the other side and lost sight of the blighter again
A couple of more minutes of poking revealed it sitting there in plain sight, but obviously not my sight

We had a really good look for this one but turned up empty handed. Only 1 DNF out of 24 caches attempted for the day though!
Thanks for the trail, don't normally enjoy macros but this was a nice easy one
Out for another days caching with The Drovers picking up the Mid North Coast Wander and any local caches we could. We were looking forward to this series of micro caches and this was our first. We had seached for a few minutes before the well hidden cache was found and we could add our names to the log.
We were soon off to the next one.
Thanks Daedalos.

Found, on a great day caching with Team Crackers.
This is a small series of 12 micro's, that we totally enjoyed.
Well hidden and well placed, a credit to the owner.
Thanks for the cache, Daedalos.

I am amazed how hard this seems to be to find so I have added a hint.
And I confirm it is still there waiting for you.

Marcus Vitruvius and I looked for this one for quite a while and then noticed the 8 DNF's in a row. Well you can add us to the list.
Thanks anyway Daedalos.
Thanks anyway Daedalos.
With now 10 DNF's on the trot it would be great if Daedalos could at least confirm it's still there
Stopped by with Big Matt this morning, and while we were still expecting the possibility of the cache still being there, the previous DNF's deterred us from spending too long here searching. This one needs a check on it.
Adding my dnf log to the list, though i thought i knew what i was looking for, i didnt spot it this time...good hide...thanks Daedalos
Like my friends Footyfanatics, chrissybunce and pdbunce we searched for ages but to no avail. Not disturbed by anyone and can say we gave it a fair search.
Didn't find this one. It was the first one we attempted in this series and it was too good for us.
Easter Sunday and Evans birthday. Nice set of micros, another good day in the area TFTC
Our third day caching for long weekend away with footyfanatics, evangt, & chrissybunce. Attempting the smaller urban powertrail today. Sadly our first cache for the day & we couldn't find it. checked recent logs and it seems a few DNF's???
Between THE DOG barking continuously, muggles walking by and gardening neighbours.
We had a quick look, couldn't find it!

The Booo's are holidaying on the mid north coast, relaxing and caching as we enjoy time away from the everyday.
Not a very inspiring start to the HWMC series but after nearly 30 minutes of searching I had to give up to move on this one.

Last day to complete Mid North Trail and other close caches, before heading home to Qld. Today is Australia Day so a special day for us. The HWMC series attracted us to this beautiful and cleverly designed area. Went to this one early and had no success. Came back on the way home and after some time found it. So unhappy as it is one very similar to cahes of ours in Qld!!!! Great series, lovely area and well worth the effort. A favourite from us for the series.

I knew this one would be tough and despite my inside connection to the CO I didn't get any extra hints. I didn't even take my phone so I couldn't PAF either! I spent a good 15 minutes searching, wondering what the clue meant. Was it to be taken literally? Or was there some more cryptic interpretation. Well after looking and looking without even really knowing what I was looking for I decided to be another DNF victim.
After the fact, now I know what it is and how it is hidden I think this will be a bit easier next time.

This turned out to be quite a long search though GEO was sure he knew where it would be, and guess what, he did! TFTC Daedalos
We have found a nice little spot at the Coopernook Hotel to park the caravan and go off caching. We got away early today to try and complete our wander of the Mid North Coast. While in the vicinity we decided to try and get the HWMC series as well but these proved quite difficult. This was one we were able to find.
Thanks to Daedalos.

In town with fitzy_1965 to grab the Mid North Coast Power Trail and with a few other caches on offer, we tried to nab a few non PT finds as well.
Bummer though, this one beat us. We looked for a good 10 minutes but were fast running out of time.......and sunshine.
Thanks anyway...

Went to Harrington today to do the Harrington Waters Micro Circuit.
A good variety of caches & hides were found, really enjoyed doing them.
This took us a little while to find thought we were going to have a DNF but were lucky today.

TGG and I were not encouraged by the logs on how difficult it was to find, especially with the SWOOPING MAGPIE ATACKING US! We retreated to safety and logged this one a DNF.
A day of caching with TheMonks.
This one took way longer than expected. Even with 5 searchers, we still struggled until Ms TheMonks eventually found it. I reckon the rest of us had all looked there, just hadn't seen it. Nice cammo.

Harder than the previous few but with 3 of us looking we got there in the end. Nice hide
Seemed to be following TeamSenz around this very pleasant loop walk.
Looked for this one on both 7th and 8th, but no luck.

Found at 12:14 PM GAFF5 in the company of Browngang and Eyles Crew. Spent a bit of time searching here - at first we were thinking it was a micro, but then we saw that it was a "small", but that didn't help matters much. It was eventually found in a spot where the co-ords said it would be! However it really is a micro being about a film canister size.
Thanks Daedalos

Another good hide in this series. 15 minutes before I came up with the goods and quite obvious once I'd found it. TFTC Found with Browngang and pprass

Found with pprass and The Eyles Crew on a biking tour of the back streets of Harrington. We had to replace this one under the nose of the neighbour who decided to come around and rake up the leaves. Lots of gardening and lawn care going on around here today. Thanks Daedalos
Cheers from Browngang

2140 Yeah! Found GAFF4. Had either been looking higher or lower previously.
Not sure if that is second, third, or 'fourth' to find!?!
Not sure, but I think the B2B ingot would have fitted (without its chain), so brought it thru (with my t-shirt)
TFTC and encouragement.

After having a quick look here we were getting some looks from the neighbour so we thought we would go and find some of the others in the area and when we did we bumped into the CO,after a brief chat and a very tiny clue we came back and found this cache. We did wonder just like the CO how we missed it.
SL in the ***FTF***spot and rntd safe.
Well we would like to say a big thank-you to Daedalos who put this whole caching trail together and the fact that not one mint tin was used. I realy recommend it and the boys and I had great fun.I have met grahamcookie and I bet you will scratching your head so the clue I will give is" its not as small as you first thought"

2200-2230 DNF GAFF1 Noone watching, so had a better look here and there. Still no joy!
2330 GAFF1 A bit concerned about the muggle neighbour wondering what I was doing looking for possums at that hour, but when else would you be doing that !?
May have well been over the fence and far far away, I couldn't find it. I wasn't helped by the yapping dog close by that was interested in alerting everybody to my presence. I managed to spike myseld on a horrible tanika plant, hope the cache isn't in one of them. Oh well another on for next time.
