Quick find today. I really don't know how I missed that last time...
That house wasn't there last time I was here either...

Thought it might be gone due to building but it is definitely there, good hide too
Found on a lovely autumn morning out caching in MB. It was all happening on this street, painters, roofers, builders all at work. The lot behind this cache is now being developed - I hope the cache's hiding place is safe... TFTC.
Found it a while ago with friends only marking today as i now have my own account!! Otherwise it was a gd one when I did it!!
I don't know why people would want to live in lego-land houses this far from major centres? A real shame seeing the farm / country areas being destroyed for housing. Found quickly and easily and the challenge was to get past the thick spider webs to retrieve the container. Number 8 of 11 for the day. TNLN. Cheers.
Mr Tardis and Toddler Tardis were on a quick caching run around Mt Barker while Mrs Tardis was at the shops. This was our first stop. We waited in the car while we waited for the local muggle kids to ride down the street, then it was a quick find for us. I'm sure this area will be full of houses in no time.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache clare007.

Find No. 259. Found with FUF009 at 8.02pm (SA time)
On our holidays to follow the Tour Down Under in South Australia, we decided to hit a few caches in our spare time. As we were staying in Mt.Barker for the week we were able to do quite a few in the area.
This was our last cache find for our holidays in Mt.Barker for this year - but we will be back again next year. A good hide with a quick pick up.

Top cache! Found with Team Waldron on a wonderful Saturday morning of caching. TFTC.
I remember driving up this road, caching of course, several years ago. There were open paddocks on each side of the road. They call this progress? And it will be the people that move in here that will be jumping on the band wagon to try to stop further urbanisation of this area of the hills which we all pay for ultimately. This land was good for market gardens and dairy production. Now the farmers are working land further out which is poorer quality and has lower rainfall ( read: cost of production increasing) and this also involves increased transport costs (increasing the price we pay at the checkout and greenhouse gas production.) Another way we will pay is all the additional runoff from the paved areas/reduced absorption of rainfall in the soil leading to increased flooding down stream. Enough of the lecture.
I give this cache 12 months, after the houses are built here it wont be in a tenable position. There was a kitten (baby rabbit) huddled against the tree trying to be invisible, it didn't work, I saw it, gave it a pat on the head and wished it good luck. (It was too small for a meal.)
Thanks for the cache clare007.

Good to see that all this food producing land is being converted to bricks and mortar.
Went looking last night bit hard in the dark. Relatively easy find in the daylight!
Found with my nan[earthlight] and the x-trailers.

Third time lucky. Each time I have tried for this one previously I have been thwarted by muggles! Today no muggles! Found quickly. Interesting new housing development. TFTC
After looking for this awhile ago, 2 of my young geochildren went on their own and found within 30 seconds!!
They are hooked !!!!

This almost had us scratching our heads, but it's amazing how the container hides so well behind some things!
Nice to have found this one before the construction gets any closer (we remember when this was all open paddocks).
TNLNSL. Our last for the day.
Thanks Clare007.

Ducked out on my lunch break to do some quick caching. Found this one quickly enough. Then took a "short cut" and bogged the ute. I was an hour late back from my break! TFTC
Seemed like it should have been an easy find but no luck, even after returning with kids.
Unless a digging implement was required, I would have to agree with the previous persons post as there did not seem to be anything there.
A quiet Sunday arvo for caching.
Ingy and I headed to Mt Barker to cache and photographise.
I really don't think I have been in this particular area before. Thanks for bringing me here.

Found on a day out caching with Witch of the South. For some reason we signed everything for the 5th, not the 4th. Nice quick find and sign.
Thanks for the hide,
clare007.

Found during a quick stop to 'inspect' the nearby land sales. Thanks for the cache clare007!
This won't remain an easy driveby for much longer. It will be very near housing and stealth will be required. TFTC clare007.
I thought West Parkway was in the Colonel's suburb.
Thanks to clare007 and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Glad I found it now as once a house goes up on the block right next to GZ, it could make for an interesting search. TFTC clare007

Nice area. Covered the cache up a little more cause it was in plain site. Found with the st Clair clan and talbie TFTC
A nice quick find after visiting a friend in the nearby housing estate.
The difficulty on this one will surely go up in the not too distant future! The development speed is incredible!
Took $1000 note and TB, left purple butterfly.

Silver for me today. This landscape is certainly changing. Thanks clare007.
Woohoo, ftf. This place has certainly changed since I used to wander along the dirt road with my grandma, chatting with the local sheep.
