We are out here today with our Girl Guide Leader learning more about Geocaching and she bought us to the North Shore as there are some very cool hides over this way, We enjoyed wandering through here today and it got quite hot in here, no wind. thanks for the hide
after not finding the last cache. We all had a go at trying to find this one but it wasn't in a flax bush it was in the cutty grass. TFTC
Caching on the North Shore today with a couple of my Girl Guides and Miss RileyTheBest101 made this find today... . . . .however it came with a squeal as inside was a little brown skink . . . . . . we signed, replaced and moved on . . . . . TFTC
Found when out and about with SethRaven and RileyTheBest101. A few scratches later cache was found.TFTC
Dug sround for ages after many gorse stings i decided to leave Lokky1 May 25, 2017 13:20
Brought my brother with me and he found this one, pretty sure ive got him hooked now. Everything inside is wet though, its no longer water tight and needs a new log book, its soaking wet. But fun hard find. TFTC
(posted last log for wrong cache) Brought my brother with me and he found this one aswell, pretty sure ive got him hooked now. Its not to far from the hint,we almost gave up!, we put it back were we found it, fun find. TFTC
Super quick and easy find but don't read the hint! Replaced pen with one that works!
Nice one but quite tricky. Took awhile before we found it but progressed and success. Thanks
Took quite a while to find but good digging! Not too far off path. Left a diamond in container.
Found this after a while, but not behind the hint item either. Replaced as found, cheers
This was our first stop asking this walkway, but after what we thought was a fairly extensive search, Miss Three and I moved on. As we returned to the car, we had one more look and I spotted it - near, but not behind, a hint item. Thanks!
Parking could have been an issue but not today, I parked right next to the chain across the path. Just a few minutes walk to this cache. I'm glad previous cachers have left the cache close to the path, so much cutty grass and gorse to contend with, luckily none of that was too bad.
A quick final find to drop off a trackable led us here for a nice easy find in an area I never knew existed! TFTC
Pathway overgrown a bit with gorse. Bit of a prickly situation but enticed the little bigger out with an umbrella! Even put a geo tracker GNF72A inside don't give up trying to find it
Was in the area doing some caches after dropping Miss NZT off.
Took a wander down the moon path to find some caches. This was going to be the last one and it was very dark when I arrived and even with my large torch I struggled to find this. My GPS was bouncing all over the place and as it was getting late I eventually conceded defeat.
WILL BE BACK!!!!

I wandered up and down the path a good while and even checked the wrong side, heading down to the stream to have a look. When the GPS pointed me in the direction of some nice, prickly gorse, my heart sank. I was wearing shorts (a hot day) and had not considered the possibility of wading into prickle bushes. I searched about for a large stick, but found none nearby. I leant over the prickles as spotted the familiar sight of a plastic cache-like thing. I decided to use my backpack to psuh the worst of the prickles to one side and lean into the rest to get the cache. The gorse still got me. However, blood and pain aside, I soon had it signed and returned. TFTC! NINO.
Keeping Mrk69 company on a trip to Albany to collect a recent purchase but opted for a short walk nearby while he was completing the required paperwork. Bonus of collecting a couple of caches while I was stretching my legs! Nice hide, TFTC
The end of 2015 saw us take on a big couple of days of caching. At the beginning of the year, we set a goal of reaching 4000 cache finds by the end of the year. Towards the end of 2015, it wasn't looking too promising as geocaching got put a bit on the backburner for us as life and things happened. Come the 31st Dec 2015 and still needing a good portion of finds, New Year's Eve called for some binge caching in th North Shore to reach that milestone!
Another nice stroll up to this cache, and it was eventually spotted after checking a few of the hint items. Thanks for the hide!

When I arrived at GZ, I was busy with my GPSr when I guy jogged past. I was back to searching when he came back and asked, "Did you loose your keys? I saw you looking for something." He really did find a set of keys, so this was not just a rhetorical question. I responded, "No, I am not looking for KEYS." After the big long chat I had with the lawn mower guy a few caches ago, I didn't feel like chatting, so he said, "I'll leave them on the gate," as he ran off in the opposite direction. I then found the cache, etc., etc. TFTC.
Cool .....fourth one in area ! Ok when I got the right side of the track ! Thanks for these Zork !
Nice quick find , finishing off the local caches in this area. Had to study the phone as muggles strolled by then quickly signed and replaced. TFTC
Short walk and good find. Found the whole series - thanks for the great work done with these caches
What is it with me and cockroaches? Put my hand into a nest of babies looking for this cache. Nice walk at lunchtime, tftc!
It was after dark and not much moon showing when we made the walk to Southwestern Oceanus Prcellarum. Still managed a quick find by torchlight. Thanks.
2.00pm. A quick find here too. A pleasant walk but it was rather hot.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
A nice quick find here - a reversal of my luck on the shore today. Dropped a geocoin in. TFTC!!!
Last find of the day for us and after a couple of false starts had the cache in hand without any bother.
Nice little area for a walk, TFTC

We landed on GZ, I took one side of the track and Firewoof took the other side. Firewoof found the spoils this time. Great team work .

Quick find in a pleasant spot while using time ahead of a nearby meeting. TFTC, #5260
Day 8 of the August Geocaching challenge complete! This one was nice and easy. Surprisingly close to work also. Will do the rest along this path another day. But it is a neat little walk way to get away from the hustle of industrial Albany. Might come down for lunch as its pretty much walking distance from work. Thanks!
Seeing that this was one was close I thought I'd jog over and grab this one while Mr P waited in the car. t4tc
GPS played up a bit here, but found it with the clue in the end. Hot here today.
Read the hint and walked right to the cache. SL and went looking for the last cache close by. TFTC
Our Waitangi Day daily cache - on our way back from some more work at the parentals (always happen to be Zork caches on these days!) not many muggles about today so was a nice quick cache find. Must return and grab the other ones around this area at some stage. Thanks for the hide.
Another daily find we are now 37 consecutive days and going. It doesn't seem to be a hard task to just go out to grab our daily cache anymore. This one was a nice gentle stroll and a quick find. No muggles at all as it was a public holiday and most muggles were probably at the beach. TFTC.
Our cache for the day, eventually found the path and quickly found the cache at GZ, tftc
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Was nearby, so decided to have a short walk around this reserve to pick up the 4 caches in here. A nice quick find, thanks for the cache!

Headed over to the shore on Sunday evening for a couple hours caching before it got dark.
Last cache along this wee trail, and probably the easiest of the lot! Hint was pretty straight forward, so knew instantly where to look, and another nice insect free so nothing to worry about cache!
For the way back though, to avoid that bush bash, I continued along the trail, and then walked along the road back to where I'd parked. A nice quiet walk actually. I guess it is a day off for all the people who could normally be working their 9-5 jobs here.

out in the open, covered up now, all good, great little walk!--thanks./
That should have been easier than it was. Shame I did all that bush crashing, only to see it sitting there (laughing at me) on my way out. Next time, read the hint. TFTC.
Quickly spotted from the walkway made the scratch on the log without muggles appearing
