Found by Mary & David at 1545. Delighted to get up close and personal with one of these amazing trees. Found cache after a short search. Our thanks to firnsy.
It was souvenir day today, so I needed to grab at least one cache. The geoson was going iceskating, so I dropped him and then had 2 hours free to cache.
Thus far in life I have managed to avoid this type of specimen container. Glad it is unused.

Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.
Thanks firnsy for placing this cache.

West Australia 2016 trip. Day 22. I am on my way home now, but I wanted to get to Pemberton for at least one lookout tree. I ended up staying in Manjimup after visiting a few towns down south.
Thanks.

GeoP was early for work so decided to stop and get 2 caches close to work before his shift started. No muggles in sight which made for a nice quick find before heading to work. Tftc sl tnln

Good Friday and a beautiful day to be outside and caching. Decided to tackle the various caches around Woodman Point and had a very successful and enjoyable day. It was great to see lots of people enjoying the ocean and the great facilities in the parks. It was also interesting to lean something of the history of the area, especially sand pumping and the ammunition bunkers and see the extensive infrastructure that supported this.
This tree would fit in nicely with our Significant Tree series in Mandurah. Great old Tuart . Mrs K made the specimen find in the obvious spot.
Thanks for the cache firnsy [^] - all was good & dry
This was cache # 7 of 14 today for a total cache count of 2606.

Find 8 of 11 on a day trip to Woodman Point.
Another park and grab but much quicker than at Roadside Rocks this time! Terrific specimens all around here - tree, bark and container. TFTC.

Found it after a little bit of foraging! Good cache on a walk about woody point.
Originally logged under family name of clan-wallace now slowly transitioning to new name
Found this one quickly as I have been promised an ice cream when we find it. TFTC
Megawat60 and I had a very enjoyable day at Woodman Point today. The seabreeze was more than a breeze, but it kept the temp down and the flies away!
All together, 16 finds, no DNF's, 3 DNS (Did Not Search as the fence was a bit high for us...)
We each approached GZ from different angles and made the find a the same time. A nice specimen here in more ways than one!
TFTC firnsy!

We had this planned for a few weeks and today was the day, nice strong wind to keep the flies away and add extra leg power to push the bikes forward. This is a great specimen of a tree and a great spot for a hide. We met in the middle and she extracted the device. Enjoying a bit more shelter from the blustery wind on this section.
Thanks Firnsy for this smiley.

Easy find, I'm sooooo glad the cache has never been used for its intended purpose!!
Nice specimen. Haven't seen a container like this before; we have a different system in France.

We are staying at a van/cabin park in Coogee Beach, south of Fremantle.
This morning we went for a walk south of the park in a very cache rich area.
Along the way we found 16 caches of which this was the 14th.
This one didn't take too long, and I learned something new about half the population and specimen jars. The log is completely full here. This tree is magnificent.
Thanks for placing this cache firnsy

On my Round Aussie Trip, travelling in Perth area, with Brother Colin, my son who flew in from Brisbane for 5 days, and IolantheK, who flew in to drive the Nullabor with me. we found your cache. We enjoyed our beach walk. TFTC
Day 3 of my trip to Perth and surrounds to catch up with my Mum, triciac2.
But we had another friend arriving today, IolantheK.
I was dropped at the airport, hire car collected and off IolantheK and myself headed to catch up with Mum closer to the coast. [^]
We were staying at the nearby caravan park with a couple of hours before the sun set. So we went for a walk around a few of the nearby caches.
A quick find on our return leg.
Thanks for the cache.

I arrived in Perth today from Brisbane to meet up with Triciac2, because on Tuesday we are taking a 3 week driving tour to Adelaide But first we have 3 days here with her son Brother Colin for some caching. We have got ourselves settled into the nearby caravan park for 2 nights, so time to take a walk around the area
Loved the tree right here [^] I was expecting a smaller container, but BC made the find very quickly. TFTC, firnsy.

Decided to go to a very different location & we were delighted by the whole experience in the park. There were so many people using the facilities and enjoying the weather. Lovely tree. The log book is almost full. TFTC
Finally decided it was time to mark Woodman Point with a few smilies. I parked nearby Specimen at around 4.30pm and made my way on foot around the area. I really enjoyed the walk here today. This was a quick find, and the name made sense once the cache was in hand. TFTC firnsy.
Klettercache and me are making a 5 week holiday in Australia and our route leads us from Sydney via Brisbane to Cairns. From Cairns, we are going to take a flight to Adelaide and from this city in Southern Australia we will continue our trip by train through the Nullarbor Plain towards Perth, where we will fly back to Germany.
This is already the last week of our holidays and we have arrived near Perth after a very nice ride with the Indian Pacific from Adelaide to Western Australia via Kalgoorlie.
As we have a rental car we are doing some nice day trips to the surrounding of Perth and of course we are trying to find some caches that are located along our way.
Today, we were heading towards the coast South of Perth. This cache was found after we came back from the Southernmost point of this day trip. It could be found easily and we could successfully sign the logbook.
Thanks to the owner for keeping and maintaining the cache.

Thanks for hiding this cache.

Mrs Ski looked with no luck, but when Mr Ski visited the same spot it magically appeared. The tree fairies must have hidden it from me!
Glad this hasn't been used for its intended purpose. I see enuf of that at work!
