Great hide! Unfortunately it was compromised which made it easier to find.I tried to reassemble as best I could but it needs to be fixed.TFTC
TFTC. Down in Adelaide for some medical appointments & calisthenics comp . What else to do with spare time?? Cache of course! Happy caching and safe travels!
Couch for long bike ride and finding geocaches along the way.Nice hide, that it was made a little easier for me because the lid wasnt fixed.
Found in the company of VK7HCH on a warm afternoon. Like this clever cache - a favourite from me. Thanks for the find!
Travelling Australia in our caravan since February 2014.
Stopping a few days at Highway1 Tourist Park as the GeoCruiser was in for some repairs earlier in the week..
Today was an early start for Spring is in the air, I can feel it everywhere Geo Event and then off to CITO at Another clean up in the wetlands.
After gleaning some hints to nearby caches at the brekky event we were a tad late to CITO but still managed to find a few pieces of rubbish to add to the 'smallish' pile. We did spend a while chatting to the CO's of todays events though whilst there.
Then off to tackle some nearby caches. Beautiful spring weather today, a great day to be out and about! Messed up a multi nearby so waked up to this one for a smilie instead.

This morning, I attended a CITO event, and found some multi / traditional / mystery caches while I was in the area.
This was the third find for today.
Walked about 350m to GZ.
Noticed something, checked, found the cache!
Nice hide!
Signed the log book, and placed it back.
Thanks for the interesting cache, Fair_Dinkum.

I was passing by and decided I'd see this area for a change.
I walked to GZ from the carpark and a quick find was made.
Thanks Fair_Dinkum for this cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 2656 on the 22nd of March 2023.
I have hosted quite a few CITO's in my time, making huge differences thanks to the people who came along!
Whether you're out finding caches or just taking a stroll somewhere, remember to always be CITO-ing to help maintain our parks and reserves!

Yay. Found it. Was nearby checking out some public holiday caching and went past here three times and grabbed it. Great little hide too. Many thanks for the smiley!
After finally completing my DT grid, after just 9 years !? What’s my next challenge? With demands on my shared car with the Monkey and my Mum suffering declining health, caching is quite focussed at the moment. With a few outstanding signed challenges (500 puzzles-grrr, 50 large caches and flashlight required) I’m working my way on these between the city and Kapunda and building in Port Hughes. Letterboxes too along the way.
Anyway, sorry for the geo ramble, I’m logging this cache for my sanity. Thank you for placing it for us to find. Thank you for contributing to the geo map and maintaining when needed. All the best for the festive season and fingers crossed we can all enjoy 2022. TFTC

Thanks Fair_Dinkum for this neat cache. All good.
I decided to stop on my way home from work to grab a cache. Well, I made it way, way harder than it needed to be. I didn't need to disturb the 3 R's, rats, rubbish and redback.

Nice cache!! This hide is now 9 years old, and the best parking now is probably at the Barker Wetlands inlet 200 or so meters to the east. It rained last night and you wouldn’t be able to use the underpass today. TFTC.
An early start on my bicycle enjoying a little sunshine chasing a few caches. Loving life.
Caught up to a friend, bicycle ended up in her car boot , lunch in Mawson Lakes, then the two of us wandered around the uni trying to find some caches. Living the dream.
Heading home after a long day of riding and caching I asked my friend to stop in the parking bay so I could grab this one. After assisting a fellow cyclist get their bike over a locked gate, we wandered down to GZ to grab our final cache for the day. Nice little hide to finish our day off.

Thanks for placing this cache Fair_Dinkum. A nice cache indeed, well done on the execution of this one. There was not much traffic today so I tempted fate. I parked well off the road behind the barrier and walked the 72m back. Easy do, signed and returned as found.
The walk was the hardest part of this one.
Once at GZ CIH in seconds.

I have rode past this cache before but never stopped to search, today being on the foot bike we made the find easily
This evening Davidwazza and I headed a bit further north to find some caches, with the hope of some new caches out we had just got back to the car and the phone went ding so an FTF drive was on, after being quite a ways from where we started it was time to cache around the wetlands for the remainder of the evening.
Total of 14 caches.
Thanks for the cache

This evening, gridge98 and I headed north and had planned to geocache around Gulfview Heights. We spent an hour visiting various locations, but then detoured nearby towards Wingfield when a couple of new geocaches had been published. We then enjoyed a nice walk through the Barker Inlet Wetlands.
We managed to walk up the bike track from the wetlands, and I spotted the well constructed cache reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I took the TB from this cache for onwards travels. Thanks Fair_Dinkum for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found with conardel after a long day geocaching in golden grove. Thanks for the cache
Pulled the car into the parking area a few hundred metres to the east of GZ....lots of dodgy looking single blokes loitering around so I got out the area quickly. Although GZ was strewn with rubbish, it didn't take long to locate the cache and sign the log. TFTC.
Glad I finally came out for a walk to collect this one it is really quite close to work but needed a planned trip to enable the stop park and walk. Super cache nicely done TFTC
Great hide, I had to walk around the hut at least once till it dawned on me where it was. I actually had a few stop and ask if I was okay, as it must have looked like I had broken down. Lid needs to have the magnet reattached otherwise cache is in good condition. TFTC Fair_Dinkum

Headed out to Nuriootpa with sir_spectre and Rod81w to cache the day again. We had seen the weather reports so all came prepared with extra clothes. It is rare for us all the have a weekday off together and we weren't going to let weather reports predicting 50-100mm of rain dampen our caching spirits.

Needed cache for the day and this one has been taunting me for ages as I do drive past for work occasionally. Was working nearby and I was a bit early so decided to park safely nearby and go for a wander to make the find. Ended up with a 2400m return trip. Was further than I would have liked but the walk was worth it. Arrived at GZ and located the cache in the first place I looked. Gotta love that. A very clever cache. Signed log and replaced. Then the walk back to the car. Thankfully I gathered some info for a nearby multi on the way which made it even better.

Nice roadside cache with a car park close by. Cool container. Thanks Fair_dinkum for a good one.
TFTC - was a dangerous road crossing - but successful - I drive past this every day !!!!! Today we stopped - cool camo
I too had thought "One day I will figure out how to get this cache !!".
Today I was on the pushbike and headed along the bike path northbound, underneath South Road
I followed the path up and over, then down to find it suddenly ends at the side of the very busy highway under the bridge [:o]
I quickly wobbled along the glass strewn 'bike lane' and found the nice bike path starts again on the other side and heads upwards
Only to end up on the side of the freeway on-ramp !! [:o]
So now I was riding on a narrow glass strewn bike lane on the outside of a sharp bend with two lanes of traffic whizzing past !!
"You would have thought they could have spent a few more bucks on a bit better bike lane connection between the highways !!"
I made it safely to the wetlands carpark, which is on the opposite side of the highway to GZ [:(!]
But wait !!
I remembered there was a tunnel under the highway nearby.
And before you could say "Road Train", I was at GZ
A cleverly camoed cache was soon found [^]
Now how do I get out of here ??? [:o]
TFTC and fun and games !!!

All quiet tonight while out on a mini caching running with Mattycat after some nearby rehersals at Semaphore, easier to pull over than last time with way to many orange cones out for road works to get near the spot all easy tonight TFTC Fair_Dinkum
Muggle partner had to put in his mother's new stove, so I got to cache down south
I needed some more of my current favourite red wine from the winery that the Hope Farm geocache is situated at and so grabbed my eldest grand daughter, Destiny, before heading over there.
On the way back we found several caches and apparently Destiny now wants to go and find more...pity her parents
By day's end, I had 10 smileys
I'd swapped Dest for muggle partner by now and we were on our way home but he let me stop here to find this cache, as I'd often said 'one day I need to get in there and get that bloody cache!'
I'd done all of the others ages ago but due to roadworks, I'd never made it here.
Now that they're finished and there's no fences, I parked over the road and wandered over.
The other cache hides didn't look like this
Good camo, looks quite realistic, especially at 23:32

mogni was in town yet again for some work. That meant only one thing....caching time. I was half way through Frequent Flier Mach Two, so it was a case of set a course in the general direction of the remaining way-points and collect a few other caches along the way.
Or park 100 metres past. Funny place for this DTEI hut. You see them all up the freeway. They store signs, cones and kitty litter for any nasty crashes nearby. Spotted the out of place cache hide in quick time. Thanks Fair Dinkum.

Found after completing the Let's follow BGWT series, now saturated to the core in a record-breaking February rainfall deluge. Thanks for the cache Fair Dinkum!
Out for the morning with the sun-loving daredevils CP Wanderer and Knightyme. In theory the trio were together to attend the CITO, but with so many unfound caches between them and the event it was always going to be a slow drive both ways. This one was just down the road so of course they stopped. Owl played with the cache, then dismissed it, but Knightyme was more persistent when CP insisted it had to be the cache. The best of its type Owl has seen and the pathtag was a bonus. Definitely a favourite
Out for another pleasant caching adventure with CP wanderer and Dr Owl.
We approach GZ, not seeing anywhere to park past it I suggest we park before it. A short stroll later and we are at GZ looking here and there. Hmm, I recognize that might be a cache container. Nope that didnt work, what about ... yep.
Nice a Pathtag ... one I had collected earlier in the day, so off it went to one of my companions.

Located with Dr Owl and Knightyme. ..... after the Wetlands CITO event. We parked about 120m. short of the location and wandered up to this clever hide!! A favourite from me!!
There was work going on around here today but we decided to risk it anyway. Since we were in the 4WD, we parked on the side of the road about 80m past the cache and walked back to it. GeoTM stayed in the car (with warning lights flashing & supposedly on the phone) while GeoAJ went to make the find. At first he wasn't sure if he was looking in the right place so made a closer inspection. Loved the container - very clever. A favourite point for this one from us today.
Decided to risk the traffic as this structure wasn't fenced off.
It should have a GC code on it. Well that's what Tchingal would say.
Then back across the road and on to another adventure.

It appears the structure will remain after the Superway is opened and I will report when public access is restored.

Find 2001
Found Reel BFE Style without the GPS.
The elusive cache closest to work had to be found, the opportunity to stop safely and sign the log never happens.
With the barriers up and nowhere to park and the suspicion the structure maybe demolished during the modifications for the new Superway. Today the approach was overland alongside the wetland a route that I do not recommend especially if the gate at the end of Rafferty Street is locked.
Also found a remnant sign of the MFP project.
Thanks to Fair Dinkum for the cache.

Heading over to South Oz with steeba, Farmer Frentzen and Big Matt, it was great to have the gangsters back together for another SA invasion, last time we were here was 2009.
We found this cache as part of the many series/trails and singular caches we found over our 4-day spree. Our trip has created many milestones, none better than our own new one-day record and a new monthly tally.
I apologise for the duplicate log, by no means does it detract from the enjoyment of finding this cache. Thanks to contributing to the gangsters invasion.

Found with "The Gangsters", steeba, The Rats and FarmerFrentzen on the final day of our SA 2013 trip. Today we travelled from Kapunda to Adelaide focusing on the Five Oh, It's a Small World and PSA series and then back to the airport to head home. This is find number 169 of 171 for the day. It felt a bit odd stopping here but we did and made the find.

It was 2009 when we were last together as a group in South Australia to set a 24 hour record but with the advent of power trails the game has certainly changed! This time, we weren't here to break any records but to enjoy picking up some good numbers over the variety of the trails that seem to be popping up everywhere in South Australia.
This was one of the last finds made on a very frantic run back to the airport to catch our plane.
