I had a plan to get some caches with a fellow cacher but due to illness that didnt happen. The littlest Turmoil was accounted for so I wanted to get the bigger Turmoil out of the house, getting some sunshine and exercise. I have been looking at this Monster Lane bike ride for years and decided today would be the day. We only completed the section near the bridge and boy my legs were aching at night considering it was a short ride and an easy ride. Most caches were found quickly and without any interesting events/memories. Some, however, were a different story.
Just a short little venture out to clear a few more of the Monster Lane series TFTC
Nice hide, great container! Love this trail barbbowman! Cache #30 today on an afternoon ride. TFTC!
Trotzdem nochmals meinen Dank und liebe Gre von den deutschen Caradoos google-translate: I cycled almost 25 km today and earned lots of yellow smilies. This treasure was there. The round was fun. Thank you very much for that.Unfortunately, some logbooks were damp, wet or even impossible to write on - perhaps a round of maintenance is in order.Nevertheless, my thanks again and kind regards from the German Caradoos
This morning we went for a short walk along the cycle path.We found lots of caches.Thank you for the Cache saysTeam sissifalke

A nice quick find on the side of the bike park thanks so much for placing
An nearby appointment gave me the opportunity to return to this one as it was missing the last time I attempted it. Very happy that was not the case this time and the wonderfully themed guardian was soon spotted. Glad to finally have this frown converted to a smiley. Thanks barbbowman
Out for the day with the rest of the Mumma Bear and the Cubs gang and Gem_54. So happy to finally get some more smileys on this series.

Our last day in the area before heading home, out on the bikes yesterday and again today, unfortunately we have lost our bike toughness, and there are a couple of sensative areas that we now need to work with. A great little series today, all containers found and in good condition. Will give a couple of fav points for the series randomly. Especially this month as the CO will get those points for the challenge.
Thanks barbbowman for the caches.

We found the magnet on the post and the cache on the ground with no lid or log book.. We texed owner and left a drop cache here, so the owner has time to fix things up ..
For a D1 this certainly proved too hard for us. Oh the shame. Found the magnet as previously photo'd and found a clear preform tube with no lid but no cache.
barbbowman I found your cache Monster Lane 29...Peg Dolls on 6/12/2022, 10:05 am. This is my find 4530 and find # 2 today. A quick and easy ride by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

All caches were found in good condition.
We had a great morning and loved the scenery along the waterfront.
Thanks for all your work on this series.

Back again to avenge my recent DNF.. 2day, I found the magnet & took foto if needed for proof! T4TC:-)
Found what we think should have held the cache. Logging a find. Please delete if you disagree. 20th for the day.
Found what looks like the magnet from the cache, judging from a previous photo. Will log this as a find, but cache/container is missing.
At long last the day is here. Monster lane has been on my one day list for some time now well since I started caching really. I was catching up with swearah last week and we saw the new ones come through which got us talking about monster lane. Let's do it, let's go next week! So here we are one week later. Initially we were going to take the deadly treadlys but I managed to borrow some electric scooters to make the trip.
Swearah spotted this one before she had even come to a complete stop, wow that reboot is working wonders. We are getting closer to the pub for lunch I definitely need a refuel. Tftc barbbowman

Having so much fun on the scooters with jodsta83.
She’d gone a little past this one, but I spotted it on approach. I’d been dragging the chain with finds, so it was nice to lay eyes on it first and boast about how clever I was.
Thanks for the cache, barbbowman

Today, I started out with a visit to Tinchi Tamba wetlands, with the main objective of following a Wherigo waypoint, but it was also a good excuse to grab a new challenge cache.
After repositioning my vehicle, I headed out by bike along the Deagon Deviation Bikeway to grab a number of *Monster Lane* series geocaches, riding from Brighton Park to Bracken Ridge Road. It was then an opportunity to grab litter at the Brighton Park CITO event.
I closed out the day by driving around Newport as per the *Newport Canal* series. Unfortunately, the rain arrived in patches as I spent a few hours doing this series, in which I ended up opting for my Jeep over my planned bike ride around.
I had loaded my bike in preparation to ride this series this morning prior to the CITO. There were a few cyclists using the track today, and I seemed to get concerning eyes from each passing cyclist thinking I needed maintenance to have pulled over in a random location along the bike lane. I managed to find most of these caches from #32 to #17 without too much difficulty, although there were a few that I had issues with.
After arriving at this geocache, I had to hunt around for this one as per the hint. Eventually I managed to find the Peg Monster a short distance from GZ (and even then, the hint didn't match), but there didn't seem to be a logbook attached? So unfortunately even though I was confident at finding the geocache, I couldn't sign the logbook to claim a find. Thanks anyway barbbowman for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

It was mentioned to me at the CITO by chamad that he also found this *Peg Doll* geocache and didn't find a logbook either, so he added one himself.
So following the CITO, I took another short bike ride to GZ, and at least it was a quick find since I knew where it was. This time however, I was able to add my name to the logbook and claim a find. Thanks barbbowman for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I planned to attend the CITO event in the area today, but as it had a late starting time, I saw a great opportunity to grab a few local caches and a couple that I had DNF’s on. I loaded the bike and made my way to the event posted coordinates.
This was my second stop of caches to avenge. It was over a year ago when I was last here and I am very happy to even the score here today. A nice cache design but it was missing a log. It so happened that I had a small log sheet and a small plastic bag handy to replace.
I signed the log and set the cache back, then turned around to grab some new caches on the bridge. Thank you for this cache and maintaining this series.

I didn’t spend a lot of time here due to the previous DNFs but my look around did not reveal the cache. TFTC barbbowman
Despite the rain today, I was still about to get the pushbike out and grab a few caches with the geokid. We managed 10/14 - there were a few GZ's where she felt uncomfortable and we opted to continue. Neither of us had been on the bike for a while, but it was great to stretch the legs and get up a few clicks. Only a few left on Monster Lane for us now! Thanks so much Barb for placing these caches, we are having a great time turning them into smilies.
All the caches and logs were in great condition. We dipped in TBs along the way.

This afternoon I decided to head out and attempt to do some of the Monster Lane caches. Had a great afternoon hunting down the caches whilst riding my scooter.
Found the container just laying on the ground, so I’ve placed it in a spot that’s more hidden from view.

This poor cache was broken. Replaced with a spare til new peg doll cache comes! TFTC!
Out on a bike ride with my daughter and her trackable. Didn't have any caches loaded up, but could remember where a few were. No bad given I found these three years ago!
Tftc. Container has snapped and is no longer water proof. Was found laying flat on the ground in pieces. May have been muggled.
This one is broken as the previous finder stated. log is still ok but rain will be a problem
Mystery at the Museum ...
Having met the detective, discovered the required clues & located & secured all the jewels we headed north today chasing down what was needed to open the vault.
#8 of 17 caches found today.
Quickly found the remains of the cache.
Container is broken & the log is a bit of a mess.
Apparently, according to previous logs, this cache has been in poor condition since as far back as January or perhaps even longer?
Being on shanks's pony no maintenance kit on hand today.
Perhaps a little CO TLC?
Made our mark & replaced as found.
