Well it was true about the ants! Ouch! Am still finding them crawling on me on various places. This was a fun challenge. The bottom of the cache is missing, so I signed the log and replaced it, then put some dry leaves into the bottom of the cache to hold the log book in place. Replaced it where I found it. Am enjoying the Monster Lane caches so much. Tftc Barbbowman.
As mentioned in previous logs, the base of this cache is missing, so the logbook is slightly damp, even within its sealed ziplock bag. We added our name to the logbook and returned the cache to where we found it.
Found this one in an ant nest the bottom of the cache is missing. Found the log and put it in plastic before covering with the cache top . We moved the cache to the other rock for the ants

Second last day in the Clontarf for a while, so converting a few more smilies across Bramble Bay. Quick find, but needs new container or plastic bag
Thanks barbbowman for the series.
Thanks barbbowman for the series.
Out with geobuddy E:) today and we had a plan to get as many monsters as we could..... we found many of them today this one included. Thanks for placing them here for us to create new memories TFTC

This was one of many geocaches we found along the oceanfront today. Thank you for placing and maintaining this one! TFTC! These were all great, easy and straight forward finds.
A very quick find at GZ. We are loving exploring this area today and the view from here is fabulous.
The container was totally full of ants and we dropped quickly in surprise, allowing them all to scuttle away at least temporarily.
Thanks for heading up this way

Very cool the geo boy is picking up this riding gig and sailed from one cache to the other practically independent. He's keen for the next on on his own.

After a leisurely week touring the Sunshine Coast we pulled up at Sandridge Beach for lunch and as one does immediately checked the Geocaching App to see what was lurking in the area, sure enough Monster Lane 48.... Zarbi was nearby so after it we went. Quickly had monster lured from it's lair and photographed but were unable to sign log due to the minor oversight of forgetting to take a pen.
Positive Photographic evidence is available to verify find if required.
Thanks barbbowman for the creative theme

Another neat hide in the series, replaced full log sheet, thanks barbbowman and TFTC
Visiting family this week, first time in Australia so figured I'd grab a cache while I am here. Saw some soldier crabs as well.
You need a new log book though, I did not have one on me.

Nice easy find between keep fit muggles. Managed to make a mark on very full log. Had to wait even longer to replace but lovely spot on a lovely day so no hardship.
We came to the pier for a walk since we both had a rare afternoon off. Al took a phone call while Em spotted the classic hide. The log is full, but we managed to squeeze our name on there. Sorry we didn't have a log on us to replace it with - they got left in the car. Thanks for the hide
Another easy find on a perfect winter day. I love walking along here with the family.
Cache was found quickly and although the log was full and needs replacing (sadly I didn't have anything on me at the time) I found a small spot to sign it.

After walking with the Geopup and Clan-mess from the pool to here, we made a nice, quick find. The log is full and will need replacing, but Clan-,mess managed to find a small space to put both our names down.

Had to be sneaky .... lots of people around! Log getting a bit full, will need replacement soon.
I sent Willpunkey to make the find as to avoid too much attention from the afternoon walkers, it was very busy. We took a few photos and were on our way. Thanks Barbbowman. got all the caches in this great area. we will be back another time to find the rest FP awarded
This was the last one I went for today.
I was on the wrong side of the path at first but soon saw the error in my ways and a quick find was made.
Thanks for the cache Barb,

We enjoyed going down Lovers' Walk and seeing once again the Church that we were married in. Brought back many memories. Thank you for bringing us here.
Found on the walk to Sandgate after finding the cache on the pier. Quick and easy find. Must return to do more of the Monster Lane series! TFTC
Almost muggled by a worker trundling by on his council buggy then a young man out for a midday stroll but no lovers today. TFTC
Nice quick find. Which is lucky, because I think our fish and chip dinner should be ready!
We did the same but think part was by the rock and part in a tree so we replaced at the former.
Think this one had been relocated but managed to find it. Put it back in its rightful home. Good spot, rock on!
Found the cache container on the ground and its broken and the log is missing. Put it where we think is the right place.
Random hiding place. Definitely not what I was expecting. Thanks for the cache
In amongst splashes from the King tide and watching out for muggles geo boy came up with the goods.tftc
Have been eyeing off the Monster Lane series for a few years now. In Brisbane for two days visiting family and decided to make a start on this series. Hopefully will be able to finish the series next time I'm in town.
Nice afternoon for a walk along the seaside and a spot of caching.
Log signed. Took nothing and left nothing. Cache container and log in great condition.
Finding this cache has now given me a total find count of 1546.
Thanks for the cache hide **barbbowman**.

There were plenty of people here walking past on a Friday night so when we approached GZ we casually sat on the edge of the footpath and let our thespian skills emerge to sell the fact we weren't in the area for any particular reason. I'm pretty sure we would have won Academy awards in the category of "Best Muggle Fake-Out".
One geodaughter yells out "I think I've dropped something". I have a laugh and think she is really overselling the drama mama but she is having a good time and new to the caching addiction. The muggles clear and I am about to begin the search when she brings over the cache for me to sign. Dang it, she did such a good job hiding the fact she was reaching for a cache in front of muggles she even fooled me. I gave her a standing ovation from the theatre balcony and threw some roses at her and by roses I mean rocks.
This was her first solo find tonight which she really wanted to do and we were happy for her but had to remind her not to let it go to her head. She told us amateurs not to be "haters" and that I needed a coffee. I did.
At the entrance to the path I found a sign that allowed me to lecture my daughters on their future behaviors and that no boyfriends will be allowed in the house unless they pay a beer tax. tftc

Out for a lazy afternoon on the Sandgate waterfront. Identified four caches that I thought I could find this afternoon and pleased to say this was one of them. TFTC barbowman. Path was very muggle heavy but fortunately had a borrowed geodog with me so it did not look quite so bad sitting on a rock!!
Had a lunch date with a work muggle and decided to take her for her first cache, nice easy one for her first time TFTC

Out chasing monsters again today.
Find #12 for the day. There is an awful lot of muggles in this area. I don't think it would matter what time of day.
Checked the hint and looked around me. Soon spotted the right area. And luck must be on my side today. There was a perfect break in muggle traffic, giving me time to retrieve and return without being caught out.
Thanks for this series Barb

Travelling around Australia and currently in Queensland.
Now house & dog sitting in Eatons Hill. Today we took our Geo Bikes to tackle the Monster Lane Power Trail. The day started with nice mild weather and 28degrees, but it changed into a very windy ride along the coast, before the end of the day became thunderstorms and rain.
So a bit of a mixed bag weatherwise but a very enjoyable day, with some excellent caches! Love the variety of caches in this series.

### Yippie we are flying to Brisbane this weekend! ###
----------
Day 1
We were greeted by the warm sun when arriving the airport in Brisbane.
After picking up the rental car, we drove towards Nudgee Beach where we took a walk through the mangroves. We finished off the day with a dinner and a stroll around the streets of Brisbane.
Day 2 Springfield Lakes
Here we watched the start of constructing a new city.
We spend a nice time at the lagoon and around the shops in Springfield Lakes.
We finished off the day again along the streets in Brisbane.
Day 3 Brisbane City
The started off with beautiful sunshine once again.
We took a nice walk around the Botanic Garden. We then walked along the banks of the Brisbane river towards the lagoon in South bank. What a nice construction.
We then watched the city buzzle from high up the Brisbane wheel.
We then continued to the parklands adjacent to the city where we took the little train around the beautiful gardens with waterfalls and many pretty plants and flowers.
We continued towards Brighton in the afternoon where we took a nice coastal walk. We were lucky to see how the water came back slowly from the vast ocean. We were walking around until late at night when the water came back again.
Now we have to say Bye as the plane is leaving soon..
We had a beautiful weekend in Brisbane and would like to thank all owners for showing us those nice locations.
Thank you
Bye bye.....
