Searched the area, but sadly a DNF for us here today. [8)] Hopefully we were just cache blind again.
Lots of damage to the surrounding area in the recent storms think this could use a CO visit.
Thanks anyway barbbowman

Had a real good look in all the obvious places but this one eluded us on this beautiful day
### Yippie we are flying to Brisbane this weekend! ###
----------
Day 1
We were greeted by the warm sun when arriving the airport in Brisbane.
After picking up the rental car, we drove towards Nudgee Beach where we took a walk through the mangroves. We finished off the day with a dinner and a stroll around the streets of Brisbane.
Day 2 Springfield Lakes
Here we watched the start of constructing a new city.
We spend a nice time at the lagoon and around the shops in Springfield Lakes.
We finished off the day again along the streets in Brisbane.
Day 3 Brisbane City
The started off with beautiful sunshine once again.
We took a nice walk around the Botanic Garden. We then walked along the banks of the Brisbane river towards the lagoon in South bank. What a nice construction.
We then watched the city buzzle from high up the Brisbane wheel.
We then continued to the parklands adjacent to the city where we took the little train around the beautiful gardens with waterfalls and many pretty plants and flowers.
We continued towards Brighton in the afternoon where we took a nice coastal walk. We were lucky to see how the water came back slowly from the vast ocean. We were walking around until late at night when the water came back again.
Now we have to say Bye as the plane is leaving soon..
We had a beautiful weekend in Brisbane and would like to thank all owners for showing us those nice locations.
Thank you
Bye bye.....

Was also with RhoBoCacher and Dervish... a team of eyes didn't have much luck here today unfortunately. Oh well, excuse to come back!
Unfortuneatly we didnt find although we did have a good look. Never mind gives us another reason to come back to this beautiful place. TFTC
Decided to venture north to do some caching and came to do some of the Monster Lane series. Enjoyed the walk after parking the Geo Car. Came upon GZ and found the face quite quickly. TFTC barbbowman
What a great way to spend my 1st 'cache-versary' - out with my favourite caching friend barbb, finding some of her Monster Lane caches. Sisters of Plenitude was first on our list and it was muggle city. We waited out a muggle couple who could have been cachers (bet they were muttering about us, LOL) and when they weren't looking I snuck in and grabbed the container. Log was soon signed and everything replaced as found. Thanks barbb, as always I love hearing the story behind each of the caches
Seeing the earth cache nearby we thought we would pick up the tail end of the monster lane series on our way. The Garm was first. We wandered over to the shore line and saw the likely tree at GZ. We then turned and immediately saw something that said that's camo for a cache for sure and it was. Nice sized container. Log signed and on to the next one TFTC We skipped The Sontaran as it had muggles nearby so it was on to Mr Sin. So muggles were setting up for a picnic nearby by luckily we spotted the hide quickly and on the other side from them. We used the wall as a seat and completed the signing duties. TFTC. Next was Celestial Toymaker on our way to the earth cache. Some nice banding and colours in the different type of rocks. Once at GZ we followed a bit of a geo trail and once we realised it was a regular and not a micro we were looking for we soon made the find. TFTC.
After the earth cache location it was on to Sisters of Plenitude as the last of this little run. Once close we soon realised the general area and made a quick find. We completed signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

Another quick find for us in this series. There were some teenage muggles nearby playing with remote control cars on the rocks but they were too occupied to be interested in what we were doing. TNLNSL TFTC
Out with Geohubby for a ride. Massive waves breaking across the path and we got drenched - okay on a hot day. Not the caches to do at high tide! TFTG
Out finding some caches with the sister-in-law while brother is at work. Spotted this trail and thought we would hit a few here. Tftc
I have been staying on the Gold Coast for a week, and today came to Deagon to visit a mate. Whilst he was at work I borrow his bike and rode the Monster Series. It just so happened that I rode it in reverse order, no problem! A very enjoyable series on a nice flat bike track. Great fun!
Another find as I walked my bike around the cliffs.
Cheers

Found it but forgot to bring the pen! Not enough time to duck back to the car to get it. Lovely walk along the water. TFTC
Tftc! Quick find!

All together I loved the monster lane. At first I was annoyed of the traffic noise in the beginning but on the bicycle way were less people so perfect conditions to find caches. I looked forward to walk an the ocean and it was so calm. On the other side there were so many people that it was not relaxing to find the caches especially because of the muggles around. The end of the walk was my favorite! Not many people, no cars and only relaxing with nice caches!
I walked around 30.000 steps which means circa 20 kilometers in 7 1/2 hours with 50 caches which I found. For the number of caches, the monster lane is really well maintained, only some caches are not in a good condition.
Thank you so much for the lovely day, the exercise and I also achieved with this round my 500th milestone!

Interesting container. I guess the only limit is your imagination. All good with cache. Signed and returned
In the local area for the nearby Earthcache so it's great to complete a few more Monsters Lane caches around the point. Great morning with the Finneys - thanks barbbowman for the series and for this cache! Great container!
Bit of a struggle to get this one even with little miss Millbet's super dooper all terrain wheelchair. Got it though. TFTC!
At Moora Park with the kids when we decided to quickly grab this before heading off.
Arrived at GZ and found the cache pretty swiftly. But what's this? We forgot a pen!
With a bit of a MacGyver technique, a rock was used to etch the paper before grinding up a bit of orange rock and using the powder to fill the etch.
Low and behold, the ancient method of scribing!

Following on from the previous monster, we found the GZ and spotted the hide but needed to wait quite a while for all the cycling, walking, talking muggles to move on before we could grab the container and sign the logbook. TNLNSL TFTC .
Mrs NZTravellers had been working in Brisbane and we decided to make a long weekend break out of the opportunity.
We selected our accommodation to enable us too specifically do this Dr Who series as we are avid fans. Miss NZTravellers was gutted at not being able to join us and wanted an INSTANT update when we did here favourite monster the Weeping Angels!!!!!
After biking most of the series yesterday we embarked on a more leisurely option of driving and also a little bit of walking to get some more.
We really enjoyed the whole series with good sized caches and well maintained as we actually were the first to sign several newly replaced logs. All coordinates were spot on and any issues were always sorted with good hints.
We only found a log in a plastic bag hidden under a rock there was no cache container, the log was dry but a new container may be in order. We will file a maintenance log for this one.
A well maintained and fun series of caches a huge thanks to Barbbowman for setting this series up and maintaining it.

Geoniece found the cache. Unfortunately the only thing left was the log inside a damaged ziplock bag. The rest is MIA. I wish I had a spare container, but a pen and GPS were about it. TFTC and sorry about the bad news.
Didn't know you could come down here. TFTC. Cache bag is damaged and needs replacing.
I continued my mini-caching adventure around the corner soaking up the sun on this blustery day. A quick find for me on this one. There was a munzee in the bag which was stuck weird and had potential to break the bag so unstuck it carefully and placed it on the back of the log to keep it away from the plastic.
Thanks for this one barbbowman, another beautiful spot.

I found this with 1MinnieMoo and 1GiantPanda. Although it took us a while to figure out how to get down to GZ, we eventually found it. Had to use stealth as there was a muggle fishing nearby. TFTC
Had to work out how to navigate down here with the geokids, then settled on the area that looked most promising. A bit of a search and log found, as per previous finder's note, just in bag with no container. However it is secure and dry. Tftc
Found during my first roadtrip to the Gold Coast and Brisbane. The original intention was to go run the Gold Coast marathon, but that was soon changed en-route - it became a 2-week 5000km geocaching roadtrip !
After visiting the location of the nearby EC, I decided to walk further along the beach picking up some traditionals. Don't know if this cache was in its originally intended condition, but the logbook was located and signed.
Thanks, barbbowman.

I set out today to continue the Monster Lane series and the first song that came on the radio was U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." If that was an omen then I figured I might as well go back home, but I soldiered on. Found this one rather quickly. What I found was the little bag with the log laying on the ground. Not sure what the camo/container is supposed to be. I put log in the nearest nesting place I could find an put a rock on top. CO should check on this one. TFTC bb.
Being a Dr Who fan from way back (since B&W TV days with William Hartnell as the 1st Dr Who!), I thought I'd find as many as I could in the Monster Lane series this afternoon.
Will have to come back one day for this one - fisher muggles. It's not like you can out-wait them. Not sure if a couple of other GCers were looking for it too, so I left them to it

Next on the list for my 25 D/T challenge was this cache. The CO was with me as my navigator and checker for the day.
We wandered to this one from another, nearby. As we approached, I spotted two likely hiding places. This one or that one?? I decided to check that one first. Right one I quickly signed the log and rehid the cache. We wandered back to the car, enjoying the sun and the company.

Off we trekked, no cats in sight, but we did find us a cache, and wow never seen this before TFTC
This morning 7 of us including 3 Geokids set off to tackle the Monster Lane series. It is Geobuddies birthday today and we figured this would be a great way to celebrate it. After driving for an hour or so we reached our destinations and then needed to come up with a plan of our we would attack this line of caches. We found a place to park and set off on foot and the geokids on their scooters. We had a great day and managed to walk 19kms but sadly ran out of time to achieve finding them all. TFTC
We found a very fragile log in a lonely baggie.
Someone clearly liked the container much more than other geocachers.
It might be worth going down and checking it out!

No container here, just a log in a plastic bag under a rock! Thanks.
Wish I had a bike with me. My feet wouldn't hurt half as much, and I could have covered a heap more ground!
Found on a trip to OZ for the Stanthorpe MEGA. It is all about the numbers this trip, Ms KR decided to stay in NZ!
Thanks for the hide.

After this momentous day out of the Monster Lane, I could use some care from the Sisters of Plenitude. But they don't make house calls, so I have had to deal with a shower and a lovely iced coffee from my very patient and understanding muggle partner.
I enjoyed getting to this cache, some on the bike, but mostly (because of the embarrassment of having an accident here ) walking the bike along the "track"
The area is familiar though and the cache was found soon.
My first for the day, thanks

Found log and signed. Didn't really want to come all this way for a dnf so glad a log was here to sign. Tftc

Today spinna76, *SuzySquirrel*, MinkosDes and I decided we would bike it in the sweltering, stifling, sticky heat to grab some little Monsters among other things. I too hope you excuse my copy and paste logs and our logging as S.S.S.M.

After following the paths and road, we came close to this cache... Yet so far away. It was a downward trek for this one. We found a little path and tried to somewhat say upright whilst following it. With any incident we soon had the cache in hand and the log signed. We'll take the low road to the next cache we think...
This cache was part of *SuzySquirrel*, Stacevel, spinna76 and I's sweaty adventure of Monster Lane today. After getting an invite from the team to join them on an adventure down to the Big Smoke, I was excited (as I am anytime a cache is involved). I was even more excited to hear that it was to concur the ever so famous [xx(] Monster Lane . Back in July 2014, I started this great trail with Fairy Mother and we started it on foot, that's right, foot! We grabbed the first half of the trail and ended our great walk at the bay. Well, today may have felt like cycling in an oven though doing it on bikes, compared to foot, is just awesome. Plus, the company was alright too...
Thanks for Monster Lane and all the fun (sweat, tears and cursing) we had today barbbowman.

#918 @ 3:20pm. A Monster Lane adventure today with spinna76, Stacevel and MinkosDes. Was here a year ago tomorrow and nearly died walking it. Today we have bikes so I am hoping for a better result. TFTC barbbowman!
