Unfortunately the Golden Cow has closed down and all stock sold. Seems that includes the giant milk shake containers with cache attached
I guess lots of towns have their BIG iconic structures, but I cant say I've ever seen one like these before. Signed the log at 5.34pm, Thanks to gregand judi for the quick pick up and then I was Wakiti Creek Resort bound.
Out for some driving practice today. Wind was picking up and it was hot. Not all that pleasant. Happily the cache was an easy find and we were on our way.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Didnt find it...had a bit of a scout around, but no luck for us. Coming from a dairying background, I loved the information that you've put up - it explains everything easily...well done gregandjudi!!!
A milkshake would've been good at 10pm on a cold, damp night. Quick and way find. TFTC
Interesting spot. This is the very first time I'd been to the sleepy little that's called Tongala. Micheena and I headed off to find the the Rich Dairy Country, and find it we did. After finding and logging the cache we headed back to the bakery for some lunch, something warm was in order. TFTC
Kerydn21 soon had it in hand. Just in time as the rain set in. A warm lunch is needed at the bakery before moving on
Wow lots of mugglers. Just let geo kids play around until they found it. Weren't noticed. Had me looking all around until I realised a more likely place. TFTC
Found. Although it was not where the gps coordinates indicate, it is in a more likely spot. Great hide.
After getting all tangled up unnecessarily, Cybergran V's muggle husband widened the search and found the cache in a more likely place. Well-done gregandjudi and well-done to my geocaching friends.
What a great hide, and I am so thankful that Muggle Hubby is more athletically inclined that l am

Staying in town and decided to tackle this one at night. It turned out to be the easiest cache we have completed for some time. Must sample the famous and tasty wares nearby, tomorrow I hope! Signed the replacement sheet of paper (log is wet) and replaced as found. Thanks gregandjudi
After waiting for a muggle mum and a school bus to leave, found really easily. Added a sheet of note paper to sign and put it in a new bag, as the log was so soaked I was unable to open it. Waited for the muggle and dog to leave then replace it. TFTC
First find (: heard about this today at school, came home and me and my dad set out on a little adventure. Great fun! TFTC
Tftc found with geopartner. Then went to golden cow. What a wast of time and money that was
The GPS took us in the totally wrong direction but soon had it in hand and signed the log tftc
On my way to Strathmerton for a w/e camping and stopped for this one on the way through. The GPS was taking me way off track so I just looked in the obvious place. Thanks gregandjudi.
This was our 2nd cache find in the caching run & we found it at 14:41
So this now makes our total find count 6205.
[blue]
We've arrived a little early for the CVGT, so today has been a great opportunity to clean up all the caches we haven't found before the new ones get published.
A nice, quick find. The cache was obvious from our approach so we raised the elevation around 30cm when we replaced it.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks gregandjudi for the hunt today.

A trip down memory lane my husbands grandparents lived in tongala 20 yrs ago. TFTc and yummy milk shake -49 flavours!!
Apologies for the late logging. I only just discovered a whole bunch of field notes that never uploaded. This cache was found with La Kedi whilst we were attending a weekend family reunion milestone birthday party in the area. TFTC gregandjudi
Mmm, milkshakes! If only there had been a way to climb up to those straws... The cache took a little bit of locating and some teamwork from the smaller people in our group, but we managed to retrieve it and sign it with minimal curiosity from passersby - though with a bit of local vegetation where it oughtn't be! TFTC, gregandjudi. =^.^=
After numerous prickles BigD 23 came up with the goods. Sorry for the late log. T.f.t.c

The second grab for the day, and the new year. We arrived well after closing time (assuming the place had been open on New Year's Day), so I could check the logical places without being disturbed.
Ah, the old key thingy in the whosamawhatsit trick. Cheers.

Found with GeoJnr and GeoTilly. Have been meaning to come here for sometime so we could tick these off from our book of big things. Quiet day so a quick find. TFTC. Cheers.
Found with Blacklegend and Team RJay on an atrociously miserable day... rain, wind and 11 degrees :0 I'm heading over to NZ to team up and cache on in a week or two, so this'll be it with Blacklegend at least in Victoria. Cheers, Bro!
Found with Blacklegend and XD1 on a rainy, wind and 11 degrees :0 I thought Aussie was hot!
Found on a run over to Echuca with my good mate XD1 aka Richard... This is possibly the last Aussie run me and Richard will do, as he is heading over to NZ to live this month.... Even thought the weather was atrocious, with torrential rain and thunder storms, we braved it making the run to Echuca via Tongala. There were some caches we just couldn't get to unfortunately, but we did get a grand total of 9 which included two multis....
We knew where this one should be, and we were right with another quick grab in the rain. TFTC Nice sculpture BTW.

You just have to love the school holidays. It means I have to take time off work to look after the kids. Today we had a few hours spare and I wanted to head north to have personal look at some things listed on ebay. So the kids and I piled in the car and made a day of it caching as we went. I'd like to stop at every cache I could be we cached as opportunities presented themselves today, and this was one of them. Thanks for the cache.
A nice and easy find while out caching with 1 aussie fun seeker.
Signed log and replaced. TFTC.

Found at 12:01 PM GAFF1. Do milk bars still make milk shakes in those aluminium containers? Interesting facts - especially the one about Vic having half of the milking cow population of Aust. They must all be in Gippsland
Thanks gregandjudi
Thanks gregandjudi
Found on my way to Bendigo with my mum to visit Nan, quick easy find Very Busy road to close thought!! TFTC
After the muggles had their photos taken we moooved in for the cache. Thanks for bringing us here and for the hide.
Day 3 on a road-trip to the north-west of Victoria with DazRascal to tick off a few more maps for the VIC Country Road Atlas Challenge cache.
Was getting quite chilly now and the sun was starting to hide. The centre wasn't open today, so will have to come back another day for a milkshake. Not a soul in sight made for a quick search and find.
And yes Mrs H does suffer a slight Kiewa Iced Coffee addiction - can't survive a day without it!
Many thanks to the cows and gregandjudi for the cache!
TNLN SL.

Traveling around the NW of the state with the Haveanez clan to pick up maps needed for the Atlas challenge.
Absolutely no one around on this long weekend. Mrs H reckons I have to make one of these ornaments for her from yard, must be something to do with Kiewa Iced coffee addiction.
TNLN, TFTC, Cheers.

Nice easy cache and drive by. I'm glad I turned off the highway onto some of the side roads.

This was my last find under the cover of darkness have had a nice milk shake from this place before. Glad it was a quick find as now have to drive back to Wonthaggi and it was 7pm ish. Finally got home at 11 o'clockish after my big trip and manged to get a couple of caches as well. Thanks again for places more treasures around the area. Keep it up.
Slipped out to grab a couple of caches after dark. Gps had me not quite at GZ but logic told me where it would be. Passing by here a couple of months ago I thought that would be a great spot for a hide. Thanks gregandjudi for placing one here.

2nd last for the day, on our way home now. Suns just setting! ... quick find TFTC
Thank you gregandjudi for many more memories.....I worked at the milk factory,in the laboratory for 2 years, then, as they built the 96 foot spray drier (which is missing), as a riggers mate......that was in the 60's.......thank you again.
This log marks the 1265th smiley to be recorded in the stats of WazzaAndWenches.
A slack Sunday morning with nothing to do except find a couple of caches...
Although the carpark held a few cars there were no muggles around. There were, however, many muggles passing in cars and we were kept on our toes as we searched and signed.
Thanks again gregandjudi
