Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

Number 3 DNF for the morning. Disappointing that this trail is not better maintained. It is a lovely area to walk along. Caching adds to its enjoyment. We fear that this one has gone walkabput.
Out for a lovely group outing with 19pjr79, geo_possum, jezza_thegeokid, oftnexplor, Phoenix ferals - well spotted PJ CT-TSV. TFTC
A treasure chest cache where expected on a great walkway. Found with Sobingtons.
Here's a good bit of the RRPT to take a Sunday stroll along
Relatively muggle free,
and right next to the river [^]
The Big Y was reached and I was forked if I could work out the obvious hiding spot [:o]
I spent a good 10 minutes of ducking under and peering,
pulling cobwebs out of me hair,
and dodging a couple of muggles
Finally I spied it with my little eye.
Something hidden in a Y !!
Yes !! It is in the obvious place

Out with the kids on Australia day, Great spot for a walk and than a swim. Thanks Camps2Monkeys for placing.
Thanks for the cache. I found this with my Aunty a few weeks go but I have only just had a chance to log the find.
Despite our coordinates being a bit out here cache was quickly found in the obvious spot.
There has been a real variation in the standard of the caches along the river and this was one of the well maintained ones.
After finding it I looked through the window and what did I see?
I saw the wetlands looking at me!
Thanks.

On a two day road trip to Townsville and return from Mackay.
Saw some very interesting and intriguing caches on my journey.
Sorry for the cut and paste logs but many caches were found.
Thanks to all CO's for hiding such a wide variety of caches.

We were here on our hands and knees, we extended our search and eventually located the cache. This is a lovely part of the river. Not fond of the mozzies. TFTC
Nice place to hide a cache found while walking along the river towards the willows T.F.T.C
Out with phume for a day of geohunting, spent ages on hands and knees looking for this. Was ready to give up, then there it was. Should have been looking there from the start. T4TC
Ages mate! Ages! We stopped for a look and didn't find it at first, continued the trail, came back for a quick look at a suspicious are, and almost missed it... But didn't!
Me and Nuclearkitten searched and couldn't find it. Came back at had a quick glance at a suspicious spot... and found it!
Out caching along the Ross River today. Quick find. TNLN. SL. Thanks for the cache hide Champs2Monkeys.
No luck for us today....though gentleman Geohubby spent a lot of time on his knees.
There was a fire here yesterday apparently....some of the poor old paperbarks are still smoking and we even stomped out a few flames but if the cache is where the hint says it should be then it should still be safe. The fire came to the edge of the boardwalk...but not underneath....guess the firies stood on the boardwalk to fight the flames
Many thanks anyway Champs2Monkeys[^]

Doing part of this power trail on a lovely warm winter's day. Good to find one that has had DNF's lately. Cache in good condition. TFTC.
Lazy Geokids would not jump down and look for this one. Luckily GeoC came to the rescue - quick find, and on our way again. TFTC
Out with Karicka and family, found this one quicky, sl tnln tftc. now onto the next.
Out to clear some of the caches jackylegs44 still had not found. Walked from here and a few caches along the river.
Good find for us.

12:06:00 PM. We set out today for numbers. We bought our bikes and it turns out the weather is perfect for a ride and caching. Spent a bit of time searching here before we made the find. Really good hide. Signed log and then better half found a puncture on her bike. Pumped up tyre and continued on. Thanks Champs2Monkeys for placing this cache.
Quick find once at the GZ.
Took and left nothing. Log signed. The cache container and contents were found to be in excellent condition. Finding this cache has now given me a total find count of 1272.

YYYY did I choose this one for my 2nd last one of the night. small caches an night ):, this one actually makes 25 for the day I must have lost count along the way.
Today I undertook a personal challenge to find 24 caches in 24 hours in and around the Townsville and Ingham area. On such a lovely spring day I was lucky enough to find not only 24 caches but to explore this lovely part of Australia. I would like to mention the abundant wild life including wallabies, butterflies (too many varieties to mention), dragon flies, crocodiles, kangaroos, some kind of ant and I will call a green ass ant (they seem to swarm all over you and bite, not hard or with any venom but the numbers WOW or should I say WOE), dogs and an interesting creature I will call a “North Queenslander”. Many thanks to you guys sometimes pointing me in the right direction but most of all for being good guys.

This was the hardest one of the day. Daddy billy goat spotted it...in the most obvious place. Don't know Y we missed it. Dirty spiderwebby find.
Couldn't find. Not sure if still here as been a while. But think I got the right idea where it could have been. Y is it not there????
A recent grass fire didn't hold our hopes very high, but cache was out if harm and in good condition.

After being smashed on the Concept Rower at lunch time circuits yesterday geoD's attendance at rowing this afternoon was purely to say "No Way Jose´". GeoP had joined him on the treadly ride so we pushed a little further on along the RRPT to this cache.
Took us a little while to find, but once you know where it is, it really is the logical place to start your search!

This one was surprisingly hard to spot today even though we knew roughly where to look. Y, because we probably didn't have our caching eyes on today.

North Qld 2013. Day 9 was my first full day in Townsville and today was the day to hit the Ross River Power trail. After fixing my bike up, I set out and visited a large range of caches along the river. It was a good range of caches some easy, some hard. I did not do them all but enjoyed everything I managed. Apart from being worried about snakes, this one was fine. Thanks.

Woke up this morning to the sound of rain on the roof. So we thought maybe a day off - not !
When the rain eased, we headed out to find a couple of caches.
Parked at the end of the new road works, this gave us a longer walk to GZ.
Had a quick look, but had to wait for jogging muggles to go by.
A quick sign of the log, and we were out of there.
Thanks for the cache, Champs2Monkeys.

So, the other day we were called LAZY in a log,and when I emailed the DNF'er we were called COMPLACENT and CARELESS. We also received a lecture about our responsibilities as a cache owner. We really must be terrible cachers.
I could have just as easily logged off and never come back, but the Monkeys insisted that we go and check them as we planned a ride anyway.
Cache was gone, but now it's back.

DNF at 11:22 AM. Why don't CO's check on their caches when there are DNF's outstanding for a long time? IS it because they live miles away and cannot get to their caches quickly? Or is it just laziness?
There was a DNF in April and no one has posted a find or DNF since, even though the caches on either side have had subsequent finds. Doesn't that seem to indicate that there is a problem. So we subsequently wasted 30 minutes looking around in case the cache was still there or had fallen down - is that a way to encourage tourist cachers to recommend to others where to go caching?

Y? Y do grown people hide little boxes in obscure places?
Y do other grown people try to find these little boxes, regardless of where they are?
Y do we risk life and limb bashing through the scrub?
Y do we rejoice when we find these little boxes and despair when we do not?
Y do I keep doing this to myself!!?? Y!? Y!? Y!? (adopts the fetal position)
I feel like I've climbed under every bridge in the city. No Joy here.
Came back and made the geo ferrets climb under this time. They couldn't find it either.

9416 kms travelled in 21 days, one awesome eclipse observed near Mt Carbine in Northern Queensland and 712 cache finds, including a small handle of FTF's.
This was a trip I'd been planning for over 12 months with the main reason being to observe the solar eclipse on the morning of the 14th of November. I had decided to drive to Palm Cove and back, where my penthouse accommodation was located, while the rest of the family flew up and back. I love the drive and the unknown adventures that lay ahead; and I even think the last time I did one this big may have been for the previous eclipse in Australia which occurred over SA.
Apart from the great experiences, awesome scenery, and the characters met, the other reason to drive was to also do some serious caching, with the plan to stop at some power trails along the way including the Fruit Run and A.S. series near Stanthorpe on the way up and the Mid North Coast Wander series, just out of Port Macquarie, on the way back.
I had five days to travel each way with ten days in between spent in Palm Cove holidaying with my family. My route up took me from Melbourne to Tocumwal and up to Glenn Innes, through Toowoomba, Rockhampton and the coast road to Cairns while my route back was a bit more erratic. Heading from Cairns to Townsville then via Charters Towers to Rockhampton. From here it was through the amazing mining region to Roma then across to Dalby down through Stanthorpe (again) to Armidale, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga, Tocumwal and then home - phew.
After spending the night at a mates place in Townsville I had a few hours to kill before having a business meeting with a customer here in Townsville before starting on the trek back home south. I thought the RRPT series was a good way to find some caches and have a bit of a walk along the river in the spare time. The type of hide became obvious once I got to GZ, it just took a little bit of searching before the cache was found. Thanks C2M.

This was our 10th cache in our caching run today - and we found it at around 09:54.

Decided to take my geobro along for this powertrail trip to help run interference and spot muggles. He immediately proved himself much more useful than that, and had this one in hand very quickly. He definitely has the hang of this now! Logged, ticked off the list and moved on.

Why.....became very obvious once we arrived at the GZ. After a brief search the cache container was located, although we were on the wrong side of the WHY and neither of us was taking a shortcut to get it.

The Ross River Power Trail has been on my 'hit list' since it was first created.
Today I had an oportunity to get started finding a section of the caches from APEX park up to the Boat ramp.
Only one DNF for the day at the rowing club with the muggles being out in force on such a nice day.
A great walk along the river and a nice set of well hidden caches.
Well done C2M.
Had to wait for a couple of mountain biking muggles to vacate before pouncing on the hide.
Cheers and happy caching.
