It wood appear that this tree is no longer here (the other side of the track is equally void of trees)
Well that is turning into a dissapointment. I thought this one was going to be easy but alas my third no find for the day even after i discovered the new coordinates. Oddly the original navigation point was bouncing between 2 trees some distance apart and when i put in the new point it took me back to one of the original spots so tried going the 20 something meters in either direction. Hunted lots of trees with lots of likely spots but sadly no cache today. I did enjoy the walk along the river though. Thankyou for bringing me to this spot.
Happy to see more than one cache on this walk! Really enjoyed the wander today, even made some acquaintances on the way. Cache safe and well - just missing the camo in the description. Thanks for placing this one.
We are spending the day caching around Ngaruawahia and Horotiu. The Waipa River Esplanade has a very pleasant walkway, though our enjoyment was somewhat tempered by a shower that came through as we walked along to GZ. The cache took a bit of finding as the co-ords seemed a little off here. Our GPS was pointing 27m further along the track when we made the find. TFTC
Another cool find! Left behind some bubbles for all the other tamariki who we've introduced geo caching too. We all love it!

Doh, it was not meant to be. Looked in the most likely tree along with his neighbours no cache to be found. In the area for a FTF today
Couldn't locate after half an hour searching! From previous comments it should have been a simple find so guessing its been removed or out of place!
Impromptu hunt, so didn't have a pen. Found it though, now in a vitamin container
out with agazo today, looked where the gps told us but after reading previous logs we expanded the search and then found the cache, tftc
I came down to Hamilton for one last Geocaching day with nufrat before we move to Nelson. Like others, we had to expand to other tress before the cache was found. TFTC.
oh dear...second visit and can't find it.....
Must be blind....extended search to several trees.

Oooops....had another look and changed height I was looking at.
Now it is a white womens multi
container....
Added some waterproof paper.
Cheers!

Found. Only posting photo because the description says it's a brown camoed click clack container. Very obvious in the tree walking past.
Weekend in Hamilton for a dahlia show, stopped for a walk to GZ on my way to Huntly. Log book was wet. Thanks psychrn for the cache.
A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland for our family Christmas. Today we cruised around some of the Waikato on the way home. Please excuse the generic logs, there have been a few finds and they get muddled up sometimes.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Having a random wander, clearing up caches on the way. This looked a pleasant stroll. TFTC.
Quick find here this morning. Out getting a few caches with the kids.

Another find in Ngaruawahia for me today. Biked 21km in the area! Great walkway and enjoyed my ride here! All good at GZ. T4TC
I parked in Pond St and wandered down to this one. A dog was barking nearby but I didn't manage to spot it. I got a bit of a fright at one point as I heard a great roar of thunder while hunting for the cache. Luckily it was a one off so after locating the right tree I signed the cache and headed back to my friend's car. Thanks for the cache
after being attacked by a swarm of terrifying bugs in the dead of 9pm in the evening, myself and my trusty sidekick searched and searched tree after trunk and surely enough, found our treasure. Definitely worth the stroll, bring bug spray.
. Another day in Hamilton clearing a few new caches and clearing a couple of DNFs Great day and thanks to all the COs Coming home through Ngaruwahia Not sure about the camo TFTC
what dedication went out and sorted this on a wet day [-photo as proof. GZ just behind me
Here is yours truly in my uniform just after replacing the cache. It's peeing down now.
Unfortunately I can confirm there is no brown click clack in the tree....or it's neighbours.
Shame to end with 3 dnfs....so far from home.

DNF didn't seem to be in any trees. Definitely not as pictured in other GCs logs
If so many people before me found this one quickly, and I didn't, it must be gone. That, or I am going blind.
Rain on now but have umbrella so off I go. Enjoyed the walk.No problems here today. Tftc
This is a nice cache to find, came here just as it was starting to get dark. Dropped off TB
Out and about for a spot of cache detection this afternoon. Taking the opportunity, between infrequent showers, to enjoy a drive into the Waikato. I parked up at the closest trail head and made the short walk around to GZ. Initially, I walked past GZ, but once I turns around the cache was all too obvious. After signing the log book, I took the time to return in more well hidden fashion, including the application of some natural camo. Cheers for the cache placement!
We were Ngaruwahia for the day to do the Cache 52 series, got back to the car and saw this one was close and decided we had time for just one more. A nice little walk and the hint helped us find the cache thanks.
I was enjoying my walk along this path so much, that I completely missed the cache spot, and had to turn around and go back! Was contemplating how quiet ngaruawahia is now that SH1 doesn't go straight through the middle of it, and all the new flash houses being built down by the waikato river, and wondered how long it'd be before these horse paddocks were converted into new housing too... ... ... Then it won't be as pretty walk.. ...
Cache in good condition.

Lovely river walk, very peaceful today. Rather impressive-looking homestead further along the track. TFTC
Second one today, 3rd find for me & second for my cousin & sister.
Also bought my son for a walk, thanks for the smurf toy

A short walk with my umbrella and then an easy find, perhaps easier than intended. I have added a little more camouflage. TFTC
Originally logged and found whilst out with mum (keylev) but now have own account so logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Thanks for the cache.

Was visiting a friend in Ngaruawahia to watch Bathurst but how long can one sit watching this really??? Made my excuses of taking some of the kids out so the adults would have a bit of peace and quiet. Had actually done some homework last night and loaded a PQ (just in case). This one just happened to be 175m from their home so a walk was definitely in order.
5 kids, myself and the dog walked along this great walkway. I love walks like this although the kids were not too happy for long - stones in shoes, need a drink, its too hot etc etc. I just kept going and they followed . Nice quick find at GZ and on we went.
Thanks for the cache and the excuse to get out of watching the race!

Recent strong winds have knocked down trees close by, but not the one with the cache ... whew! TFTC
Nice day for a walk. GPS had me a 10m away so started looking in the wrong hint item. Broadened search and spotted something on the ground. Found it was the cache! Returned to tree and covered. Thanks for showing me this area.

On the road again with Gap (of Fap and Gap). He has a small job to do and we are combining this with a sweeping cache hunt through the northern Waikato.
This was a quick find because Gap spotted the telltale blue clips... There was a plastic something beneath the cache and I used it to camouflage the cache on return. TFTC. By the way, that is an interesting house above the field...

Very cool for our first geocache our gift wouldn't fit in the box but it's wrapped
This is the kind of cache we enjoy. Stroller friendly, nice walk in pleasant surroundings, good size container and easy enough for our boys to find if we point them in the right direction. Our youngest enjoyed practicing his balancing on the sides of the path. We covered the cache a little better than we found it and picked up the TB that was inside. Thanks for bringing us to this nice spot.
So happy to find our first cache. We got a little silver fern and swapped it for a mini bottle of shampoo.
Great fun. Easy one to start with.
