We are travelling with Pprass and have set up in Blyth where we will camp for a few days.Today we jumped on the bikes to do bits of the bike trails. Sadly we lost Mr Morris along the way when his bike suffered a catastrophic failure. Thanks for the trail Dazzatron
Found at 11:49 AM in the company of The Morris.A wonderful clear and sunny day to do this series. Thanks to Dazzatron
Clare and Gilbert Valley caravan trip. Day 4 - Brinkworth to Clare , and bike ride.TFTC
As Easter approaches with plans to head to Capital GeoBash in Canberra - I am striving towards a very unachievable milestone. As such at every opportunity, Im am tackling powertrails or cache clusters. Currently staying in Adelaide, but had a free day up my sleeve and a babysitter available in Clare - I saw and opportunity & took it. I hired an e-bike from Reisling Trail Bike Hire who were fabulous to work with. The e-bike made easy work of the hills as I travelled along the trail collecting smileys. Additionally, today is the day I achieve my longest streak (albeit short one) & Im hoping to continue it until Easter. Thanks for the cache and maintenance.
Walking another small section of the Riesling Trail and looking for any caches as we passed. Many thanks for all the hides along here Dazzatron
I was in Clare for a few days primarily to finally complete the Riesling Trail. I'd done some by walking but this trip was to clean it up.Who knew it was that hilly on the trail (I do now). Took me about 5 hours on a hot day before I gave up and went back to the caravan park for a rest.I finished what I set out to do later in the afternoon with a bit of walking. TFTC
I have ridden and cached from the show ground to the northern end of the Riesling trail and I think I could not find only one cache, NE4. NE2 seems to be missing. Thanks a million to you Clare cachers for putting so many caches around your district. I will leave a few hearts behind as I log these caches.
A few years ago I came to find this one but had no luck so back today and the cache was found nicely hidden
With a few days off back in Adelaide I decided to head to the mid north again after still having some caches to find up this way from my last visit 2 weeks ago, nice to be driving around on the back roads exploring new places and seeing the country side.
Thanks for the cache

Sorry, prepared to go over the side of the fence sorry (far to high on a bridge)
Decided to go to Clare and the N E trail on my recently purchased mobility scooter. Good find TFTC.
Cooler today so out for a walk to get a few more "Smileys". First one quickly located. TFTC
A return visit to Clare was planned for the long weekend with the JAMS crew plus tallbikestan to find a lot of the caches that we didn't get to on our last visit along with the Rattler, Riesling and NE trails as well as the Mid North Channel Country trail. [^]
We had three very full days with perfect weather for caching, lots of bike riding, lots of walking and lots of driving along dirt tracks. We were lucky it had not recently been wet as some of the roads we drove on would not have been passable if wet. Loved the scenery at this time of year with everything looking very green as well as the bright yellow of the canola crops.
A fun weekend of caching, lots of caches found and lots of cool places visited.
Thanks for the cache Dazzatron.

A big long weekend with the JAMS Crew (JJ52, allister w(me), mogni, Sir Spectre and tallbikestan). We road from Riverton to Stanley Flat on day 1. Then more riding near Spalding on day 2. Then finished the weekend with finding caches around the area in the car. TFTC
The JAMS crew went on an October long weekend adventure back to Clare. We brought Tallbikestan along as we were targetting the bike tracks and he is the best rider amongst us. Allister W and sir_spectre we the other main riders, with JJ52 and I the support crew and walkers. A huge weekend of fun and adventure was had by all, until I made SS sick with my cold....oops.
Thanks to all those who have kept not just the bike tracks but all the other caches alive for us to find.
All caches signed as JAMS.
Thanks to Dazzatron from mogni

Day 11. of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. A supposedly rain-free day forecast and even some sunshine so we got the bicycles sorted, loaded the doggies into their tag-along and headed north up the trail to Barinia. Gale force winds accompanied us in the open farmland areas. We managed a 25km ride and 38 finds. 3 DNF's too, but that is the way it goes sometimes. Did so enjoy getting on the bikes and riding some of this fantastic Riesling Trail.
This was our first DNF for the day. We stopped again on the way back with the same result.
Day eleven of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
A mild to chilly day in Clare. We unloaded the deadly treadlies and hit the bike trails riding north to Barinia. Back to Clare for some lunch then back to base.
Riding north along the Clare to Barinia Rail Trail collecting caches as we go.
The dogs swapped between running along side (and stopping for a sniff at the GZs), and riding in style in the doggie trailer. (They are now fast asleep as we write our logs.)
A well surfaced trail, a really nice ride, and a good collection of caches.
A DNF for us here. Couldn't spot a mint tin anywhere.
Thanks, Robmc.

Conceded defeat - for a D1 that’s a bit tough! Searched for a long long time Ah well … not sure I’ll be back. Maybe missing?
Camping at Yacka for the longweekend with Travellinbees and Future Keith and we decided to head in to Clare to do the northern part of the Reisling trail.. An enjoyable ride . Thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining. We attempted this on on the way up with out success. After completing the series, we PAF'ed a previous finder who met us there. They confirmed that the cache was gone....Along with the actual railings, that have all been replaced!! He then replaced, but not before we signed! TFTC
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

After scoring a FTF at Koolunga headed to Clare to get some more done of the railtrail caches. Managed to finish the N.E.series but at sunset was still 13 short of finishing the RT series.
Thanks to Dazzatron for putting out this cache for me to find

T’was a gorgeous, sunny Autumn day. The gentlest of breezes. And we are on holiday!!! Making hay while the sun shines, as they say!
Unfortunately, We had not planned this very well. We did all the Caches going downhill. Which kinda breaks your momentum of the downhill thrill!
Would recommend doing it finding the Caches going uphill. That way you get a rest between the strenuous uphill times.
Thanks to Dazzatron for putting this cache together.

Eventually! Lucky l had my polarised sunglasses on. Did take a bit to locate. Tftcsl.
This weekend, jesswrigley and I headed to the Clare Valley for a bit of wine tasting and cycling the Riesling Trail. We were treated to great sunny weather, and nice to have been visiting the wine region.
Today, jesswrigley and I started the day with a geocaching event breakfast and a few geocaches around the town of Clare. We then proceeded south riding our bikes along the Riesling Trail. We made a few uphill detours either side of the valley to *Pallet Wines* and *Jeanneret Wines and Clare Valley Brewing Co* respectively, which certainly tired us out. A final stop at *Tim Adams Wines*, before completing the northern section of the Riesling Trail towards Barinia.
No luck searching for this cache - I suspect this one is missing, also judging my the other DNFs logged here. If it is still here, then I'm not sure how its difficulty could be rated at 1.0. Thanks anyway Dazzatron for the cache placement.

Today I had a early start to get to Clare for the Breakfast Club. It was pretty nippy when I arrived in Clare at 7.59am. The breakfast cafe served up a tremendous veggie brekkie that I thoroughly enjoyed which set me up perfectly for a big day of caching. My goal was to collect 50 caches/labs for the day. Sadly a few dnfs and arriving at Nuriootpa too late for the labs meant I had to make do with 43 finds. I also set myself a challenge of 10 multis for the day which due to the number of abandoned churches was easily achieved and enjoyed finding nicely hidden caches with check sums!
Great day out, loads of walking and nice caches found. Thanks to all the CO for contributing to me being in my happy place all day.
This was my start point for a walk on the rail trail. Was tough going on my dodgy knee to get up the bank. Nice quick find at GZ TFTC

Day 185 (Sunday 1st) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Blyth today. A total of 23 for the day and 3676 for the trip. TFTC.
An easy find for us today. Placed a new log book. All quiet here and no one wondered what we were up to. Thanks for sharing this area with us!
Last one on this trail for today. Cache was found on the ground, I believe on the wrong side of the path. retrieved, signed and replaced where my GPS was ready zero. Tftc
Quick find with CherryRose after checking in to the Clare Country Club and before organising dinner. TFTC TNLNSL
Second and unfortunately our last day in the Clare Region. Decided to bike the Reisling Trail. Was a reasonably cool start but was warmin up at our turn around point. GPS was a bit wayward today had me climbing the wrong side of the track, but we stuck with it and a day of smilies. Heading back to the Caravan for a shower and a cool non alcoholic drink

Away camping for a few days with the littlest pirate and his muggle friend, we decided to hit the trail for a few caches. Had a great time with an even dozen as the final tally. TFTC Dazzatron and apologies for the very late log!!
Tackled a stretch of the Riesling Trail today with Sebastbat and Jack.
Should have brought some Riesling, some nice spots for a picnic
Went under this over before, now went over the under.
