Travelling and caching with Jack and Purrfect Di. Day three of the road trip. Don't recommend wasp stings. Bloody hand swelling again where they got me yesterday! No other beasties today though, just a few wild blackberries attacked me! Wandered around Shep then headed east ish... ended up here ! We live in a school, so we like to find them. Not much here now but memories... Thank you BettyBoo3747 for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance ---------------- ----------------------In a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid lumps falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps us agile... sort of --------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]----------Cache carefully and make sure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Clean as you go and cache the countryside Big thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas, in nice safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun for all Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! After spending the afternoon walking from Porepunkah to Bright to raise awareness for suicide, the geokid and I were in no hurry to get home. With no invite to have a beer extended by The Blind Side we decided to find some caches on the way home. 3 certainly is a crowd!!

A few days away with Shumba7 working on BettyBoo’s A - Z around Myrtleford. We have had a great time seeing some of the sights the area has to offer. Even though I have been here many times, this series has me seeing parts that I never knew existed. TFTC although I’m beginning to think BettyBoo is a nasty lady with fresh breath.

Yesterday, Rex and I had headed to Wandiligong to catch up with a former work colleague[^]
We spent the afternoon yesterday with Carolin and her family, then slept at the Snowy Creek Picnic Ground[^][|)] close to a cache that I had found in April 2015
Today we found 19 caches as we played tourist[^][^] and slowly made our way back to the van[^] since I had to be in Shepp in the morning for a Dr's appointment
We also completed an adventure lab in Myrtleford[^] and found a heap of cool caches too[^]

Had some black faced sheep watching us as we found this cache today

Easy find, sheep came by and eyed us off. Very sad we only just missed a trackable that has been from Germany, the US and now Aus. Might have to go to Tassie to hunt it down.

Probably last free day before holidays so I begged a pass out to head to Myrtleford to collect a few more of the mosaic caches (and anything else I could lay my hands on). Also found a new butterfly spot and added a few species to my lists. Weather was perfect, people about but not too and all caches attempted found so a good day all up.

A quick park and grab here - the cache was surprisingly large. Dropped a TB here after I read the info on the sign. Glad the grass was mowed.

I only had a 200ml Sistema with me the other day so today called past and left a regular-sized container, which is what it is supposed to be.

Back in our beloved Punkah, the whole OSHFAM clan including geo dog Roxy drove out to Myrtleford for lunch, caching along the way.

I was expecting to find the remains of a school building here and as there were none, we drove straight past having to do a u-turn. We found the school sign and only I got out as no one else wanted to join me.

Cache was found easily and was in good condition. The first few pages were still a bit wet but the rest of the book was fine.

There was a thick blanket of cloud covering the sky and we were hoping the rain would hold off until we reached Myrtleford and had our lunch.

Called past and put the log book in a plastic bag. Only the first couple of pages were wet, the rest of the book is fine.

Lucky last cache find for the day on a caching day with wright_stuff. I was eager to get this cache as it was one of the last clues that I need to locate the final for the series. We made a quick find at gz and read up on the history of the past school. The cache container had some water in it which I emptied. The log book is damp but the inner pages are dry. Thanks BettyBoo another smiley gained

Day 2 of 3 of our little adventure in Bright. Started the day with the 5km Park run, followed by a breakfast roll in the bakery. Quick trip back to the cabin, quick change, more Equipment and off we set to explore some of mount buffalo and surrounds. Lots of shortish walks with the longes being 5km run, plus plenty of rock scrambling. Legs are totally stuffed now, and into Burgerville we went to smash a burger down which felt sooooo good, yummo! Thanks for the CO’s for today’s adventure.

Day 2 of the Gunks/Trailstevo weekend trek. After Buffalo trek picked up some around Myrtleford including some solved puzzles.TFTC

#1509 Day 2 of the Great Vic Bike Ride 2018. This year is Bright to Benalla. Today's leg is Bright to Beechworth (67km). This was a nice easy stop and find (and a drink and snack) TNLeft a small transformer toySL. TFTC BettyBoo3747.

On our two month travelling trip through Austrialia, we are enjoying all the wonderful places and scenery. We will stop on the way to visit some nice caches as well. This one we could find.

Old Eurobin station was a perfect place for a lunch stop during our cycle tour of the rail trail and I was able to sneak across the highway to make a quick find here before pedaling on. TFTC.

Good quick find with the (not very) helpful hint. The sign leading to the point was helpful because the actual sign was quite hidden away. Second find of the day. TFTC

On the way home after an enjoyable trek out to Mt Feathertop to camp for the night and couldn't resist stopping at more than a few caches on the way back. The challenge is not to turn a 5 hour drive into a 10 hour one by stopping at every cache along the way!

Interesting history of all the old schools and what became of them. Not sure what I was expecting but you really have to search for the monument don't you. I think I took as long to find that as I did the cache. Glad to report both were still in good condition. Thanks for the cache BettyBoo3747.
