Logs
Must have walked past this one 20 times before we saw it not far from trackIn bad shape
I'm joining the DNF club on this one. I looked in the obvious spot, and then the not so obvious spots past photo and logs didn't help.
Alas not for us to find today. Great spot for a cache though. Jimmytherat with Noelle04.
I had a couple of hours spare today so thought I would venture out to this lovely spot. Thank you to people prior who made log stepping stones across several flooded, muddy spots to cross. Cache very soggy and cache container a little worse for wear but still evidence of Mr Golding’s handiwork. I wonder if this is the same lovely Mr Golding from LSC? The write in the rain log is able to be written on but someone had placed in paper which is almost gone. luck would have it I had a roll of dog poo bags in my pocket so I attempted to make it a little bit drier. Thanks for placing this cache here crigisthis and bringing me to this lovely spot for a peaceful walk.
What a lovely little stroll. Luckily we had a sticker to put on the log as it is very sodden and don't think you could write on it.
Have fav for the hide and area

We made our way along this lovely walk and stopped at the most likely object. A short search later and the unusual container was in hand (don't think I've seen one like this before). The log was a bit wet but we could still sign it.
Thanks crigithis for showing us this beautiful fern gully.
Chiefton!!!

What a beautiful little walk! This is why we love geocaching so much, finding all these little hidden reserves that we would have never gone to otherwise. Thanks so much for bringing us here and TFTC
On a wet and dreary morning, I headed over to day1976's place and we headed down towards Nyora/Loch.
The weather had cleared up by now, but everything was still wet, including the track. I had to make day1976 walk in front, as I didnt trust him after a few small pranks he played.
Pretty interesting find, and we were both surprised how dry the logbook was.
The walk but up to the car was the hard part. Day1976 pretended to start driving off without me as i slowly managed to get to the top. With the time and how exhausted i was after the hill, we decided to call it a day and headed home.

Ilukaperi and I headed towards Nyora/Loch area for our day caching today. A nice drive, some spits of rain, but nothing to bad. First day being outside without masks on was a treat too.
Things got a bit silly on the walk between this one and the last one. A few near miss "accidents" saw me in the bad books and I was relegated to having to walk in front so Iluka could keep an eye on my antics.
Cache was found reasonably easily on location. Bone dry log book was a surprise, given the nature of the hide, but well done, its working. TFTC!

It was great to be back out hunting caches in the sun with my caching buddy Rebel Acts.
I'm happy he knows this area because I was absolutely lost.
The most important tool we had this weekend was the large bottle of hand sanitiser which was used before and after every find.
Had such a great time catching up with Rebel and getting back into the swing of caching.
Cheers for the cache.

With the restrictions eased and after being stuck at home since march I decided to arm Myself with plenty of gloves and a litre of hand sanitizer and head out in to the country side to do some caching, I was joined by my caching mate Omegaman 1971 we did a big loop from Warragul through PooWong around to Nyora and then back over the Korumburra Road to Warragul, some magic country side and views in this area to enjoy on what was a nice sunny day. loved the walk in this reserve.
Thanks crig for the cache.

Having found the sister cache to this we kept going to find this one. Another nice little spot and creative container, still enjoying the sunshine!
Sunshine on my window
Makes me happy
Like I should be
Outside
All around me
Really sleazy
Then it hits me
Don't tell me
You can't see
What it means to me
Me me
Meanwhile
In the moonlight
Purple people
Unforseeable
Lonely
As they may be
They'll be peachy
Then it hits me
Don't tell me
You can't see
What it means to me

This was a nice quick find of a rather unique cache. Thanks for the walk to bring us here and the cache.
Found it with BeckNmonts, Papi4507 and Posums for the afternoon.
Thanks crigithis for the cache.
Thanks crigithis for the cache.
After coming up to Nyora for the CITO and doing my bit to pick up other people’s rubbish, beckmonts, papi4507, Crank1 and I joined forces and spent the afternoon finding caches in the area.
After finding the multi we continued our way along the track in this great little area chatting and taking in all of the great scenery.
Thanks crigthis TFTC.

Out with Crank1, Papi4507 and Posums for the afternoon, we grabbed this cache on a walk through the reserve, after a multi I had found previously. Thanks so much for placing this cache crigithis
Coords were bouncing all over the place and had trouble licking down one location to search. Unfortunately by this time I was running short on time but luckily the hint narrowed down the possible search options. Clever container and one I overlooked on a previous search through the area.
Thanks crig for the cache.
Found at 10:37 am on 3/1/19.

Oh, boy have these logs been on the back burner……… with the combination of a long hiatus and my phone with all my saved cache data of the ones I had yet to log being supposedly lost. With my eng/comp sci friend who managed to mess around with the phone and recover the data….. hooray time to celebrate. So that's why these logs are so late…. either thanks for the cache and the adventure….. and sorry for the generic log.
We found this cache today at 1:05pm as number 4 of 8 on our Nyora to Gilwell Tour in company of Pprass. We walked on from the previous cache along the creek and this time around it was in the first place checked. Great to catch up with old friends on the walk and once at the cars, we headed our separate ways. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
Found at 1:20 PM GAFF5 in the company of Rabbitto and GeoGe.
We kept on walking from Seaview Track and once again we were there in no time and this time the cache was a quick find with an interesting container.
Thanks crig

We were still following our daughter holding the GPS and she would have found this first if she was looking up instead of the screen. Our son quickly found this one while I was looking in the wrong spot.
I did enjoyed the rest here while signing log file, before the long walk back to the car.
Thanks for the cache crigithis

Today we explored Nyora and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

What a great reserve to do some bush walking on a sunny winters day. Once at GZ and a short search, Geowife made the discovery. Log signed and back safe again. Nice bit of craft.

Thank you! We enjoyed exploring this place today. No one about and very quiet and peaceful. Cheers
Continuing a lovely walk as the sun was setting I got to the spot of likely hide, and a quick search had the cache in hand. Tho I would have called it a Micro, rather than a Small. Found @ 1648. Dry and intact.
Now time to get back and have another go at the Multi.

Will aim to get out there to replace log in next couple of weeks. Have made a replacement cache in case this one is too far gone, but the paint takes a bit longer to dry at this time of year for some reason.

I headed into Gippsland with Stemicmitsar to tackle a particular night cache that we'd been wanting to do for several weeks and also pickup whatever else we could whilst there. A brisk walk because there it was already quite chilly under a cloudless sky and we arrived at GZ. I managed to find this one, which was a relief because I was beginning to think that I had lost my caching mojo. [:o)] We had now found all three of the caches that we'd set out to find in this park and so a quick walk back to the car was in order. Once back at the car, a check for 'stowaways' in the form of Leeches was in order and we discovered that we each had at least one Leech, picked up along the way. Leeches removed, we left for try for more caches.
Thank-you to crig for placing this geocache

While out and about searching for caches with Biggles1024 and this one was found.
Tonight we headed towards Korumburra to pick up a few multi's and whatever else was in our path.
We went for the three in this reserve, this was the last one.
We continued along the track until we reached this one, it was only a short search before Mack had the cache in hand.
Thanks to crig for placing this cache.

I had to make a quick trip to Leongatha today. Picked up this cache during my travels as I stopped to walk the dog. Thanks for bringing me to such a nice area, and no one about either. Nice workmanship.

A lovely day for a walk with frmen1. We would never have found the place if it wasn't for geocaching and crig. Found under 5mins. Great container. TFTC
Quick find with tassie expat during a nice walk through this unknown little reserve. Tftc
What a great find and hunt! No treasure so put a silver party necklace in and signed cache. TFTC - awesome!
You know how, when you are in a bush setting and GPS coverage is not great, when you get to GZ you quickly look in all the likely spots first. Then you start to widen your search in all directions hoping you can uncover the cache. Finally after 1/2 hour or so looking, you decide to make it a DNF but before you do you have just one more look at GZ in case you overlooked it. There, in the most obvious spot is the cache just a little further in than expected!!!
Well this was me today!! A relatively easy cache if I had have looked properly in the first place!! TFTC

The final cache find for me in Wuchatsch Reserve. The weather was not too kind with showers on and off while I walked. But the bush was beautiful and the last cache was an easy one. Thanks so much for bringing me to this lovely reserve I didn't know even existed. TFTC
On a tough day, I decided early I was going to attempt these three caches over lunch. So after stopping quickly at Lang Lang to grab a pie and a pastie I mate my way to this reserve.
Parking the GeoRanger I walked down the dirt road to the track and made my way towards GZ. Once there I made the quick find, marveling at the workmanship of the cache, signing our name and heading back.
The 16th of October is my Dad's birthday, who passed away 10 days ago suddenly. These three caches enabled me to walk in solitude, enjoy the serenity and remember all the good times I had with him.
Thanks for the cache crig!!!

Arrived at the park needing just three more finds to reach our first 1000. We're hoping that if we play our cards right we might get lucky and get a multi-cache first to find as our 1000th. Found this after a short search so needing just two more. TFTC.
Managed to break the seal to open the cache today. Didn't tighten it as much when re-closing. All good.
A fantastic day to be out caching. The weather was perfect and sunny and quite warm all day. I headed out with my two boys down the South Gippsland Highway and we got as far as Stony Creek before heading back for home later in the afternoon. Our first cache was found just out of Jeetho and we stopped for a picnic lunch at Koonwarra before making our way to Stony Creek then heading back up the South Gippy with a small detour through Lang Lang. It was dark by the time we got home and myself and the boys had a great time.
We really enjoyed the walk to GZ through this great bushland setting. Luckily the boys had gumboots on so the many puddles and muddy parts didn't prove to be a problem. Once at GZ the boys decided to do some exploring while I looked for the cache. Found but the recent downpours had 'sealed' it and I was unable to pry it open to sign the log.

Find # 2897
Well, its the weekend again and my caching partner in crime SedgwickDave and I decided our regular caching day would be on a Sunday and we were to head out towards Korumburra for lunch, picking up some select caches on the way. Despite winter being with us, it was not too cold and we even saw the sun in patches during the day.
We parked in the nearby car park spot and headed in on foot. Initially we went past the trail head, but when it started heading in the wrong direction, we back tracked and found the right trail. Soon after we were at GZ and after a short search the well crafted cache container was found and log signed.
Thanks to crigithis for the cache. TNLN

Easy directions to follow made this a very happy start to the afternoon. Unfortunately, being a damp sort of day, I couldnt get it open to sign the log. TFTC

Caching about today along the country roads on the way to Korumburra trying out my new toy the Nexus7 with Ahomburg. Do enjoy these bigger drives as it fun to see where the cachers lead you. The weather turn out to be rather nice and a good mix of different cache types found. The 3 type rule achieved once more. A good result today with 20 finds and 2 DNFs, I still see plenty more to grab which will be for another trip soon.
First find today and a nice walk in, but we did walk past the track entrance once it was really obvious we were walking down someone's drive way. After a couple of minutes we were there and with some effort the cache was finally open, Yay!! TFTC crigithis

Our second find in this secluded reserve. A really nice walk in from Seaview court with lots of wild life darting about in the bush. A nice easy find. TFTC. SL.
The hardest part of this cache was the walk up the hill out of here.
However it was very intesting to see how someone has parked their ute up against a tree on the other side of the gully.
The actual cache is a great construction. TFTC

Easy walk to a quiet little spot. A short search revealed the cache. Not what I was expecting. Very impressed. TNLNSL. TFTC. KeMs
Second third-to-find for the day and I can't believe more people haven't been out here! Gorgeous place for a walk! Great effort with cache construction! Opened easily!
Went to inspect the cache. Lucky I took my geogumboots! Seems that the cache "plug" may have expanded a bit with all the moisture around, but was able to loosen it fairly easily with a couple of pairs of multigrips. Not quite as tight now, so hopefully the next finder only needs to use their hands to undo. Log still nice & dry inside.
This is a gr8 place to go caching loved the walk was raining a lot and you can see what the rain has done over past weeks,i got cache in hand but could not open it ,some one had written on it i did not wont to break it was well made though TFTC and a fav for me
***FTF*** had a job in Poowong today, so I came across to Nyora to see if a ftf was up for grabs but I had my doubts knowing that Mr red stamp could of already stamped the log sheet as he gets around all hours of the day and night, but to my suprise there was a empty log sheet ,so I signed the log in red pen just to keep his red stamp thing going. Thanks Crigthis for the cache and what a cache it was, very well made I just loved it.
