Found during our holiday to New Zealand together with GeoFinn. Touring in a campervan through this amazing country; second time here, now with our son. 5 weeks was over in a blink; already plans for a third time.
Travelling, geocaching, hiking, kayakking, swimming, mountains, lakes, geyers, beaches; it was amazing. CO's thanks for your cache, it made our trips even more fun.
Did not find this one.

This cache hasn't been found for nearly two years with 11 dnf's and has had no intervention from the owner. Time to archive.
Had a good look around here but sadly the cache seems to have gone. Its still a great walk though.
Together with the Rattenfanger we have been traveling through New Zealand for 6 weeks. We have rented a camper and have been on both islands. Besides the amazing nature that we saw in New Zealand, we also had to geocache. Unfortunately this cache cannot be found.
A year since last up here and no finds since my last hunt? Is this still active?
Do we replace on behalf?

Look for ages for this one. There is a nice new seat in the location and great views over the bay.
My friend and I have looked for that cache for a while, but we didn't find it. But we had a really nice view on a beautiful sunny day.
Had two good looks here but no luck.
Seat is replaced but description implies elsewhere . Will watch . Great place to be regardless ! Thanks

A really good view, that I enjoyed during my long search for the cache. Sadly, I haven't found it. Anyway, Thanks for the cache. I would not have taken that side walk if it was not for some caches.
Got to enjoy the view for a long time as we spent a lot of time waiting for muggles to depart whilst searching for this cache....but no luck on this occasion though....next time
My second one in this beautiful national park. I could not grap it in the first try, thanks to a reading muggle.
But after a short walk and detour the muggle was luckily not there any more.
After a very short search I got the cache. Unfortunately my pen was still in the tent in Anchorage. I took a picture of the logbook instead.I hope this is ok for you!
Thanks for hiding the cache!

Found this one while kayaking on a four day trip of the Abel Tasman NP with the family. The Mominator and me kayaked here 26 years ago on our honeymoon. Were back doing it again and this time we have our two son's along. A lot more people around. But seems like the area is just as beautiful. Took a break from kayaking and did some caching. No pen, so could not sign. TNLN. TFTF.
This was one of our finds on the Pitt Head loop. What a nice spot to take a break. We had to wait for others with the same idea to pass and then logged quickly. Thanks!
What a view! We were just enjoying the view when we spotted the cach - Bonus!.... The spot is worth a cach! Thanks for the find.
Found this cache during our 2 days visit at the Abel Tasman National Park. Thank you for showing the best seat in the park to us
Just had enough time to head up here as well and claim a quick find. Sadly not enough time to complete the walk as the tour group was heading off to the nearby aquabackpackers, but this one was well worth the visit and the view was great. TFTC.
'Twas a wet and windy day in the park. An easy find and was signing the log when the sun came out! Only there long enough for a couple of photos but that was enough. TFTC.
On a walk at the Abel Tasman Track we searched for this cache. We had no problems to find it. Thank you for showing this beautiful spot and for the nice cache!
We flew over 20500 kilometers to get to New Zealand. [^] There in Queenstown we started our magnificent and unforgettable journey along the whole NZ. First we drove through south island and then the north island to Auckland. Altogether over 3000 kilometers by car and so many glorious and beautiful views, animals and plants we saw. [^] We fell in love with the country for life. Unfortunately we had only three weeks to spend for our holidays, but we really hope, we’ll be back.
The name of this cache says all the necessary. [^] Thanks for the cache and very many greetings from Finland.

Always appreciate a seat on a walk, so we sat and enjoyed the views, while doing the paperwork. Wonder who had the job of lugging this heavy looking seat up here? Whoever it was - many thanks!
The bay below was deserted today, and I suspect it's another location that would be heaving with people in the summer months. TFTC.

#9898. We enjoyed a chance to have a brief rest on this well positioned seat. TFTC.
sure is the best seat in the park. even found a dry spot to sit and sign the log. tftc
We arrived here to find some muggles sitting watching the sun setting. Fortunately they had knowledge of what we were doing so we were able to retrieve the cache and carry on our route. Phew! TFTC

This is truly an outstanding seat deserving of a favorite. I loved hiking the Abel Tasman track, and doing this side loop. Thanks for getting me to come out this way. TFTC
11.00am. Out for the day on an environmental educational trip in the national park. Morning tea stop on beach below and did a quick trot up track to find cache. Great view. Quick satisfying find.

This really is a special seat. From up here we had amazing views of the beach and all our kayaks lined up the water looked amazing today and after lunch we just had to go for a swim. TFTC
With the arrival of a new seat came a new cache. All fixed and ready for the find.
The old bench seat has gone and there is a new seat now. Clearly the cache went with it.
I noticed this cache has a string of DNFs prior to a [blue]Needs Maintenance[/blue] log which was posted over six months ago. As the cache owner has not maintained this cache in a timely manner in accordance to the guidelines, I am temporarily disabling this cache.

After we realised the many "didn't find" entries we stoppes searching. The view is amazing. Absolutely worthwile the visit even if the cache seems not to be there anymore.
Nice seat with an awesome view but I think its safe to say that the cache is no longer there given the number of DNF's. We had a pretty good look but found nothing
We think it got muggled obvious space was empty. If it is supposed to be next to the bench under tree and stone it is gone if not we did not find ; )
Second one we found during our quick walk around the loop. This is a very pretty stop in the park and we enjoyed the chance to stretch our legs and earn a couple of smileys. Greetings from Canada and TFTC.

Good to have a bench here after the steep walk up. And of course we were lucky to find a cache here with this beautiful view.

The new seat here looks very nice and we got some fab photos from this spot. TFTC and the little trail.
Found heading down to lunch on the beach at Pukatea Bay. Nicely placed to back up to even while others were taking photos. Fantastic spot. TFTC
Found this one during our month long campervan/"Road trip" vacation in New Zealand. It was a wonderful experience driving around this beaurtiful country.
This one was found on a day walking part of the Abel Tasman Track

One of the muggles in the party knew the work here was new. We didn't have the latest log with us and at first assumed the cache had gone. However the same muggle was persistent and made the find for us. Which invites the question - if a muggle helps a cacher find a cache are they a muggle. But no question that it was a great spot for the view.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found on a day walk from Marahau to the Anchorage and back to find some of the caches along the way. There has been some very recent digging going on close to the cache, the DOC people have made a platform with some steps up to it and obviously intend to place a new seat there. Fortunately the cache site was unaffected and it was a quick find. A magnificent view indeed! Signed log, TFTC
After our First kayaking day in Able Tasman tour we stayed on lovely Te Puketa camping Site and found this cache during our walk along the Pitt Lookout Track. Thank you for showing us this beautifuly way with its multiple great photo opportunities.
That's one beautiful bay! Went down and took a walk on the beach after finding the cache. Thanks!
Had to take a few photos while waiting for a pair of non-geocaching muggles to move on. Thanks for giving us an extra reason to pause here and thanks also for having the GC close to the track so we did not have to damage the environs by clambering thru the bush.
We forgot our chairs! Great views. The entire walkway offers great views. How lucky you are Bare Kiwi to live around here. TFTC.

Found during our holiday through New Zealand. We took a water taxi to Anchorage and walk around the Pitt Head. Beautiful place, thank you for placing some caches along the trail.
The only cache in this series I was able to log. Didn't attempt the T4.5 and "hundereds" of muggles around the other places on this nice sunny day...

Interesting history for the 'seat' it seems. More awesome views indeed. TFTC, Biggles.
Did not expect to get this cache as i did'nt know our boat was coming here.Great location for a cache
Walked from Bark Bay to here to grab this cache. Beatiful view of the beach and a lovely trek through the Abel Tasman that included a walk across the estuary as the tide was coming in. Just in time too as the walkers who also got off our Water Taxi at Bark Bay had to do the extra hour and a bit over the high path as they got to Torrents Bay half an hour later with the estuary submerged. TFTC
First day of our 5 days track. Staying in Anchorange, but enough time to do some caching.
Nice view.
Nice view.
woah! outstanding views. The bench isn't there anymore but the cache is. Just look on the right side of the track otherwise you end up on the most beautiful beach of the park...dead! many TFTC
