Logs
Was full of water as the container is broken but tipped it upside down to ensure it doesnt fill up again
TFTC. Cache demaged and log was not in the best shape. Would need replacing. Good view to South of the Perth.
Out for a bit of caching on a cool day. Today we hit up a number of caches around the Eastern Suburbs and Hills.
Decided I’d try a direct path in, which required some bush bashing. Ended up taking the less adventurous path on to the next cache, albeit slightly longer. Someone had setup some couches nearby to enjoy the view, which did look cool, but I would be nervous if snakes to be honest. Cache, much like the other one nearby was totally cooked. Container was buggered, logbook while now dry was stiff as a brick. Needs urgent TLC. Cheers ROSS1957!

Out and about again, with L1.77 cleaning more SE Metro and hills caches. Fortunately the weather was in the sweet spot.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Found it! Beautiful spot and fairly easy find. Container lid is broken and log is damaged so left upside down to stop water ingress
Damn, long walk uphill to find the cache full of water.
Oh well ticked off and maintenance logged.

Oops, sorry. Was logging find via c:geo app and there was obviously technical errors, and still had to go to website to actually log my find.
Cache vandalised
Put it all back where I think it's supposed to be, but logbook pages stuck together and lid shattered.
But enjoying a beautiful sunny day after a month of continuous rain.

Third cache for the day.
I cheated and parked at the bottom of the hill instead of walking from the previous caches (time is money!).
Another great view from this point.
I had read from the previous logs that container has disintegrated so I brought a 1L sistema container to replace it.
I kept the old log books, one is still usable but the other is stuck together.
Thanks for the hide ROSS1957

Container content is wet, needs maintenance. Great spot, lovely view and perfect hike with the dog
Nice spot, but I certainly did it the hard way, up through the Bush no tracks...lol Had fun TFTC
We were not prepared for cache repairs today and had not read that it needed a new container.
We logged it and placed it back upside down so as to keep the water out. It may be OK for summer but does need some TLC.

Found this one after upturning a rock with a horde of ants staring at me . Wasn't so difficult to find, but the lid has cracked and there was lots of water inside. Managed to sign the log and returned the cache angled on its side upside down so hopefully rain doesn't get in. Tftc
We weren’t sure if we’d get to this one with some horrid weather moving in towards us, but but the time we had walked back from ‘Near the Top’, the rain had passed slightly to the west of us .
We continued north past ‘Another City Lookout’ for a while, then decided to head uphill to find the main track we needed to be on. The kids weren’t too impressed (having worn shorts), but we soon made it and the rest of the trip was a breeze.
Once at GZ, it was Master7 who made the find, and we added our name to the wet logbook ... unfortunate the lid is cracked and letting water in .
TFTC and some more great views ROSS1957

Reading past logs the cache has gone from damp to wet. It is now drowned.
(Die through submersion in water) It is in need of help.

Nice little hike to a simple find. Log was really wet. Left it out of the bag in the hope it might dry out. TFTC ROSS1957.
Nice quick find. Logbook is damp but usable. As I was putting away the container, a plane flew directly overhead, but I don't think anyone saw where I hid it TFTC.
Found on my morning walk with Headley92. What a wonderful view from here! Cache is a little bit water damaged, might be time to change the container!
TFTC! Friday afternoon called for some caching!
We planned to grab the cache at honey road lookout and then worked out the other few nearby weren't too unattainable. So we headed up to city outlook and then the other outlook. Had to scramble around the grass trees to find one of them and was starting to Panic that we weren't going to find it, but we found it, claiming some 9 months of unloved goodness.
The other cache had at one point got very wet with a mouldy logbook and ants all around. This was the clip lock container.
Some nice views around here. Thanks for the caches.

TFTC! A lovely Friday afternoon called for some caching! I had planned to have the day off today but couldn't quite make it work so had to team up with Cravo this afternoon to grab a couple of caches in the forrestfield area.

In the area picking up a WAGB racer from a nearby cache and just had to come and have a go at this one. Eventually arrived at GZ after taking a couple of wrong turns and made the quick find once there.
Dried the log book out for a bit and was able to sign my name.
ROSS1957 I found your cache at 4:33pm, this was the 1st of 1 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 3080. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

The walkers still seem to be going. I thought they were finishing at the bottom of the hill. But no! The event goes on. Muggles everywhere. Oh well, this one iscfar enough off the track to make an easy find and re-hide. I was thinking they are gluttons for punishment on this hot spring day but hey - I'm geocaching and on the same track - me too.
A nice cool breeze has just started. Ok, I'm off ... Tftc

Enjoyed the walk from the scarp downwards. Best wildflowers we've seen anywhere this year.
We enjoyed our walk around the Honey Road bushland today, the weather was perfect, the view spectacular, and we collected a few good caches along the way too. Thanks ROSS1957.
My heart was pumping by the time I reached the lookout. Sat on a rock with a beautiful breeze to take in the view. 2 containers at GZ. TFTC
A nice easy find due to spot on coords . I sat for a minute enjoying the serenity and the views [^]
ROSS1957 - jinta29 found your cache Ross's Outlook on 6/03/2015 12:53 pm. This is my find #2999 and find #23 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

About a year ago someone moved the cache but it was found and returned to the correct location.
Checked on it today, all is good.

After coming across from a couple of finds near Lesmurdie falls, it took some serious cross country walking, but another easy find by B.
It was a hard bushbashing time for me to get there. But in the end, I did and it was worthwhile. Great view, nice swaps. Pleased to see a munzee here in the middle of nowhere too. TFTC Ross
Two tracks - took the wrong one, across country then found the track 30m before the cache Mmmm. Good day for a walk
After spending all day yesterday doing some long overdue maintenance around the house, I wasn't going to stay home for a second day. Plans were made last night to head up Lesmurdie/Kalamunda way. What we didn't count on was the soaring temperatures. This cache was found early in the day though. Unexpected bonus here too - a GCA cache tucked in beside the cache. Weren't sure if it was a moveable one though, so just signed the log and left it in situ. Thanks ROSS1957
Lovely walk with the kids. Was wondering what the second cache was doing there until I read the logs. TFTC
Easy find. Accompanied by a moveable cache placed by seabreezeoz from Geocaching Australia. We left that in place.

Oh goodness. I think I messed up royally.
I came to the area to find moveable caches (from GCA) and found this one, thinking it was a moveable, and I moved it nearby. :S
Luckily because of its size I didn't bring it back to Canberra with me.
I'm really sorry for this stuff up.
I moved it to S32° 0.072' E116° 1.609' which isn't too far away. Hopefully it can be relocated to its correct position in the near future.

Came up here with monf to do the 4 caches on a cloudy Sunday arvo. Of course we did it the hard way crossed the creek to get to this one as well and another lovely spot you have found here.

This is the third on our loop from Hartfield Rd along the firebreak this morning. Another quick find and a delightful view. TFTC.
[:(!] Went for an afternoon of caching, parked the geoGrand Vitara as close as possible to GZ and walked in the rest of the way, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

[^] Getting over this way is a rarity for us but we were in the area chasing Geocaching.com.au moveable caches so managed to grab this one as it was nearby.
Had to brush off some spiders but managed to grab this cache, some munzees and 3 moveables.
A very worthwhile visit.

I wouldn't have normally come up to this type of cache on such a hot day but I was collecting GCA moveable caches and decided I might as well walk the extra bits to get this cache.
Starting to feel the heat.
Found without problems.
Thanks ROSS1957 for the cache.
