Just passing and thought would give it a quick shot.
Checked obvious places however as per previous logs no luck for me today.

Looks as tho the cache has been well looked for but we could not find it either
The start of a new Geo License Challenge... Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I are on the trail of a variety of cache types, sizes, and difficulty and terrain ratings. Staying dry is also going to be a challenge... It looks likd the rain is going to be a feature for most of the day...
We were interrupted mid-search by a dog walker... Once they moved on, this was a quick find. The Hulks' paperwork was too wet and mushy for any useful good, so Gap replaced the logbook... We were surprised to see flowers on the big tree still. TFTC.

Mr F made the find here pretty quickly. We like the cache container, but the entire contents were completely soaked. Drained the water but there was no way to sign the log, and we didn't have our spare baggies/logs with us today. Cache could do with a bit of maintenance/waterproofing.
found it, i was unable to write in the log tho as it has gotten wet. i was almost spotted too! a lady pulled up directly behind me as i was returning the cache it its hiding spot.
Out and about this afternoon enjoying some well deserved caching. On the homeward leg now, but was keen to stop here and rectify my recent DNF. Cache was spotted in the second place I checked this time. Found it upside down and a little exposed. I suspect it isn't currently hidden according to the CO's intentions. Contents are completely soaked. Needs a little TLC. Cheers for the hide!
Hitting the homeward road so stooped in the hope for a super quick find. Nope. No time for an extensive look. Next time maybe.
We pulled up close to GZ in a possibly dubious parking spot. Jumped out and followed the GPS pointer to the fence line behind the huge tree. After pocking around here for a bit the hind had us scrutinizing another feature. CIH. Great little themed container. Signed log and put it into the small plastic bag containing swag then returned the container as found.

Out and about for a bit of night caching for the 13 year old birthday, took three extras along with us- might have a few more hooked. First find of the night. TFTC.
this was our second time looking for this cache, thankfully we were successful this time after confirmation from another cacher that we had been looking in the right place all along - were a bit more determined in our search this time. TFTC
Came back with the kids after I figured out where it was. They look much less weird retrieving it than I would!
It was a busy morning, so I parked around the corner and walked over. My GPSr brought me to a particular spot, where I searched forever, but it turned out to be the wrong large green hulk. I got bored with looking at the same spot over and over, so I moved to another area and found it right away. XNSL. TFTC.
found as part of team stik-a-crane now logging under my own name ... I was there to help make the find but wanting a map and history of my own unique kind.
We were very mindful parking for this one on the busy roadside, so had to do a drive by.
Nice quick find for the start of the day.
The log had been wet, but as there had not been much rain as of late, the log was dry.
TFTC.

Found on day 3 of my visit to the North Island as a part of the upcoming NZ mega event weekend, and this was another reasonably quick find on my way south today. This was another quick find as the cache was spotted in the likely hiding spot.

Another find before morning tea in Pukekohe! The cache was very wet and could need a new log book.
Spent the day claiming smilies in Pukekohe with the 8yo and 10yo nieces today. They certainly are getting quick at this caching game. It's the first thing they ask to do with us now. The youngest one found this one all on her own, which helped to perk up her tired spirits a bit. TFTC
Trout-fly managed some creative parking close to this cache. Found after a systematic search as my GPS was wavering slightly. Log book very damp. TFTC
A quick diversion while on the way home from the Waikato. Log was too damp to write on legibly. Thanks.
Easy find.
Cache is supposed to contain clue to a wider puzzle. It is missing unfortunately.

Havn't done any caching out this way before, so thought it was time to head out here and see what we could find. Started off with this one as we drove past. Took a quick search, and suspicious looking push ups, and we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Out here this afternoon for a few caches and this was our first one for the day. Quick nosey in the likely area and the cache was in hand. Nicely done, TFTC
GPS was bouncing abit but didn't need it anyhow was an easy find with the provided clue, TFTC.
Mrs FriwiNZ went first but came back empty handed, my turn and I found it in the first place I look! I guess it was my day TFTC
Some nice old Puriri, protected from the road works (for a change). Number 101 on the way to the next milestone, picked up TB. Thanks.
Didn't take to long to find thankfully as it is a very busy road.
Cache all good

8.10pm. Out for a bit of early evening caching while staying locally. Most impressed with the display of Rengarenga lillies flowering along the walkway. Found quickly in second most logical spot. Left a TB.

Had a nice day geocaching my way from Hamiton to Auckland. Found this cache fairly easily in a nice area. SL TFTC
After visiting some friends, who had just bought a new house in Pukekohe. Thought it is time for a little cache still open on my list. First time that I found a cache with the phone (instead of the GPS). No problem for this little one.....right at the spot.

Having had a quick look for this one last night but struggling in the dark, returned today and made a quick find (in the right spot). Got a toot from a passing motorist - Geocacher maybe?? TFTC

The trees seemed to have a serious attraction but common sense prevailed after a bit & all became clear. All good, thankyou.
Back in Pukekohe today cleaning up all the new and unfound caches since our last visit. It was a quick find here on arrival at GZ. TFTC!
I will admit about being a little concrened about the proximity of my nemisis (it too is green) however turned out to be a quick little find on my way home tonight before the rain set in, TFTC
We were heading south on the motorway and took a detour to find this cache to continue our cache a day run. This find also completes the one blank square on our find calendar .
After finding the safe parking spot we headed to GZ, wrestled the hulk and grabbed the cache. Good hide and a nice bulky container TFTC.

Quick dash from home this evening, just as darkness was falling. Pleased to find an empty log, especially now there is more local cometition. FTF #51
