Family lunch nearby allowed for a quick cache excursion to let to kids have a run around while the adults got their caffeine fix.
After scratching around GZ for a few minutes we expanded the search to all surrounding possibilities but after 20 minutes we had to leave empty handed.

Found myself searching the right area according to the photos and logs that I had read, but alas nowhere to be seen
Looked around where we thought. Was one very overgrown at the base tree we weren't comfortable scratching around under.
This is the 2nd of 2 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 10:42:00 AM, but we just couldn't locate your cache.
It's quite possible that the "sibling" at GZ has been chopped down. Either that or it's a very clever hide or we are suffering from "cache blindness", so here's a DNF from us.

Here from outta town for a gig at the Ent Cent and grabbing a few random GCs where I can. Very enjoyable multi that is as well constructed as its camo container. A fave point for you. TFTC!

After dropping off the car to be fixed I decided to go for a walk before catching the train back home.
Was a quick find here.
Log signed and cache returned as found.

Awesome little cache and nice walk. Found with clan speirs and grubby Gypsy
No problem with getting the right GZ but making the find took a few minutes - blame blindness on the first pass! TFTC.
Decided to head out early this morning so there wouldn't be too many muggles around at the lovely spot. Found the information quickly after reading some interesting facts about the sheoak. Put in the waypoints and off we went to GZ. Took a little bit of finding because we originally looked in the wrong spot (wrong tree ) as the GPS couldn't quite decide which one it should be. But after a couple of minutes and a swap of trees, we made the find. Tftc sl tnln
Off on a caching trip from South Australia to Western Australia, thanks to all of the caching community to make our trip more enjoyable. For the more memorable a PathTag will be left in the cache, question is will one fit in this cache. So good luck to the next finder.

Found the date, calculated coords and walked to GZ. Searched a little and found the cache. TFTC
Great camouflage. Found 10c inside so marked J2V Travel as logged for 6/4 in case 10c goes missing. Tfth
Worked out the coordinates some time ago but not able to find on previous visit to Mandurah. Found this time, on Easter Monday morning. Didn't have a pen to sign the log so left a 10c piece instead.
I arrived in Perth today from Victoria for a couple of days work...mainly in Pinjarra...so I had decided to stay in Mandurah. After dinner beside the water, I headed out to grab some caches before it got dark. This was the last in my travels as the light was failing fast. I found the sign easy enough and was able to read off the required answer. After working out the co-ordinates of the cache I then found myself going back the way I came to look for it. After a small delay waiting out a nearby muggle, I was able to get in and pick up the cache and sign the log.
Thanks to the WA K Team for a nice and simple Multi.

Went on a morning stroll for this cache. Easy one stage Multi. After solving the riddle we went for GZ. Found the container easily.
Thanks for this one!

In the area for work. Spent the evening searching for caches in the area. This one was found after dark. A quick find. Thanks WA K Team
Interesting history of this tree. Quick find in a quiet area.
Many thanks

Originally logged under family name of clan-wallace now slowly transitioning to new name
Gathered the information and the GPS set us off in the wrong way initially. Not sure why, but we soon realised
the our error and found the container quite quickly once we arrived on site. TFTC.

Nice little puzzle and walk for me this evening tftc great little hide! It's z beautiful evening to be out aside from the mozzies!!
After checking into the nearby apartments, I figured I would take a short stroll and have a look at this one before the sun disappeared. Turns out I was a fraction to late and although getting the info from the sign was not difficult, finding the cache could have been easier...
With the final coords in the GPS, I headed to GZ and broke out the phone to shed some light on the situation. I thought I knew what I was looking for and searched in all the wrong places and at the wrong elevation for a while... Then, when I had run out of places, I started the methodical scour through the remaining options. Fortunately, I found the cache within 30 seconds of that search which was some consolation... [^]
Out with the log, I added my name and tucked everything back.
Cheers WA K Team.

Checking out the sights of Mandurah on another nice winters day.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good quick finds.
Thanks for the cache WA K Team,

Down this neck of the woods to show some visiting family the sites, a quick find in the obvious place. The clue was needed to finish this one off as the GPS had us wandering all over.

Geez - that took longer than it should! Great hide, very effective camo!
Gps was jumping all over the place, thought we has the coords wrong, but no - we had walked right over it a few times

Out and about in Mandurah today with the geo-family.
A wander down here and an opportunity to find a couple of caches.
Some quick number crunching at WP1 and I soon had the numbers I needed.
Walked to WP2 and quickly found the cache.

Muggle partner came with me today so his 'man flu' can't be too bad or the fact was I didn't really give him an option
Since this one had been replaced I thought I'd better get in and find it before it goes AWOL again
We parked close and I had a quick look but since I hadn't kept the co-ords I was just guessing so back I went to the "Lonely Sheoak" got the info and came back
Did the maths and put co-ords in the GPS but in the end it had me 17m from the actual GZ . Partner checked my maths and said I was right so not sure what happened [?].
I only saw one date on the signage
Anyway lucky for the hint as made it a quick find by me
Signed log and covered well. Loved the camo bison
TFTC
Just checked the co-ords in Google Earth and it put me in the correct spot. Maybe GPS was suffering from the trees or cloudy sky

Based on the text in the last log it should have been a DNF not a found. I think this needs checking as it hasn't been found since November last year.
Looked for a bit but couldn't find it

Under much sufferance I dragged muggle partner up this way again this week to be my driver
Council were putting in a bit of concrete path near tree but still managed to get there.
I did the maths and to be sure I got partner to do them too . Right off we go to find the cache.
We searched and searched three younger ones but found nothing so we watched a dolphin in the marina instead .
Oh well another time.
Thanks anyway

So happy found this one after another DNF. Signed the log. Beauty view from GZ. Thanks WA K Team.
Got it after short search. Such a pleasant place to stroll. Now just going over the bridge to enjoy a coffee. A nice end to a nice morning. TFTC.
Checked this out today due to the DNF and comment from another cacher that they couldn't find it.
Yes it was gone - so have replaced it with new cache of same type.
All good to go.
Enjoy

This is the second time wot and I have been by to try and get this cache, but have not been able to locate it.
We came by about a week ago at night time and searched for about 30 minutes. Decided to try again during the day.
We came back today and recalculated the coords just in case we had them wrong, but again we were unable to locate the cache.
We will hold off until someone else locates it before attempting again.

Second attempt. It pays to check the process so that you get the right co-ord. Be prepared to tackle the ants that have taken over the cached. Good hide. TFTC
Stopped for coffee in Mandurah on way home from WA Big Event in Busselton. We like these multi caches which give an insight into the local history. T4TC
A nice little stroll, no rain even though the clouds looked threatening. Love learning about the trees. SL TFTC WA K Team
Nice easy find for us today, and an interesting history lesson to go with it.
Thanks WA K Team
Thanks WA K Team
It really helps if you use the phone app the way it is supposed to be used. Easy find once we used app correctly. TFTC
I was in the area this morning with Master 1 doing the new GCA webcam, so I decided I would find this one whilst down here... We had a nice walk to the posted co-ords, then we headed to the playground so Master 1 could play whilst I did the math
Once that was done, I was not happy about which way the arrow was pointing as I could see various earthmovers in the general direction We proceeded that way, and after Master 1 had to stop and check out the machines I could see that the cache would be able to be retreived without the worker's noticing [^]
Cache was easily found, Master 1 retrieved it and we found a spot to sit to sign the log! I then returned it whilst Master 1 headed back for another look of the bobcat closeby TFTC WA K Team and for showing us another of Mandurah's Significant Trees! Cache was in good condition and dry
Just noticed this is a mini-milestone for us of 100 multi's, wow!

Oohyeh quickly worked out the puzzle then put in the new coords and quickly had the cache in hand TFTC
Out with kristybelle picking up a few caches. We got to the tree and got the required info, logged in the new co-ordinates and walked to find the cache. A nice quick find at GZ especially with the hint tFTC WA K Team
TFTC LS. A lovely afternoon for a quick cache. Surprisingly geomum worked out the co-ordinates and we headed off to the location. Found the camo. The log is there but no bison tube. Perhaps the CO could check this out.
Luckily KB had new coords in her GPS....thanks WA K Team for what is becoming a very enjoyable adventure
The sheoak wasn't so lonely today! Plenty of people passing by on a lovely Sunday afternoon. A quick find once at GZ. Thanks for the cache.
Quickly found the MST and gathered the information and soon afterwards had the cache in hand

While over in Mandurah for a week from Melbourne with the family Mr & Mr X got time off for some caching. Parked the car near some very nice houses with a lovely veiw.We had a short walk to pick up the clues, then needed to back track for GZ a short space away. Found nothing, but widen the search to find the log book and bottom of container. Found the remainder some 10 metres away. We have replaced the cache at GZ.
Thanks for bringing us here WA K Team, from Melbourne

Re-logging under new team name ONLINE ONLY (were formerly part of TheChatterboxes but the team had got too large). If CO is not ok with this please contact me. Thanks.
Had me thinking about what it would have been like here all those years ago when I walking from the tree to the cache. Thanks for the information and prompting my imagination...
Nice multi, found while enjoying a bike ride with the youngest team member, who made the find on her own - we loved the hide!
