Finally spotted it but difficulty sign in as cache rusty after the earthcache .. nice walk... Thanks!!!!
Yep the area is undergoing construction, best to disable it until it is over.
This one took us quite awhile! The GPS telling us we needed to go for a swim didn't help matters! Placed a new log sheet and put everything in a zip lock bag. TFTC
Quick find after fish and chips in a poke nearby. A great way to end our trip to the National Band Championships.
Did not find it DNF
it was very complicated and took ages to find
The clue wasnt very helpful
But was still fun
Me and AddisonPascal looked nearly everywhere.

A nice, quick and easy find in a very interesting area. Thanks for placing a cache here thewoolleys.
I found this one a long time ago and didn't log it as I wanted to introduce some friends to caching and thought this one and a few others close by would be fun to do. Although it was found only a few days before I had this second look I couldn't find it anywhere. Will have to try again soon.
Easy find, passing and working muggles made it very had to place back. Still was able to rehide
Apologies for the delay in posting our log. We've just had a great 16 day holiday in Tassie. Now back home on the mainland it's time to log our 108 finds of the trip.
Lots of muggles waiting for boat trip. Patience, patience - comfortable seat though. At last they're aboard & cache found - all good.

The Wench and I are visiting the top end of Tassie for a few days...
Whilst the Wench spent a few dollars booking a river cruise I made a quick cache grab. This cache turned out to be our last GC cache for our holiday. We did find a few more GCA caches in and around town over the next few hours. www.geocaching.com.au - a great alternative to the better known (and commercial business that is) geocaching.com
Thank you, thewoolleys, for this cache.
#3870. Log signed at 1430Hrs.
(I often signed the log book as "W+W" to save paper/time/ink)

Log full needs replacing, have looked for this one before and completely missed it thankfully ticked off the list today
Easy one well hidden. Found with GeoMaggie. Thanks to CO for the cache. we are on a quest of visiting every town in Tasmania. See facebook page EVERY TOWN IN TASSIE.
This one had been elusive to us for a while . But found Today with friend Hamish
Cache find #10
This cache wasn't as easy to find as we thought it would be, but it was found in the end!

Nice hide! Love the container. We should've done less sitting, would've found it sooner!
Our fourth Tassie cache after a day at Penny Royal. Definitely follow comments for clues! TFTC!
Two Norwegian travellers on vacation/geocaching in Australia. Travelling by car from Brisbane to Adelaide with stops in interesting and not so interesting places. We have been travelling almost 5000 kilometers before we returned the car in Adelaide last week. Then we flew over to Tassie, hired a new car and will do a rouindtrip the next 2 weeks. Started in Hobart and went to Saddle Mountain and then to Stanley. After two nights in Stanley we are heading for Launceston.
Arrived yesterday. Today we are going by foot to Cataract Gorge and will log caches on our way.
Returned from the gorge in the afternoon and went to the seaside to look for a couple of caches.
Sat down and looked around without getting an idea where the cache could be. After reading old logs we at last figured out where the cache is.
Found it, logged it and replaced it.

Due to too many muggles in cars nearby, I decided to give up the first attempt. Came along here today and finally found a quiet time with no one around. Soon logbook was signed and container put back in its place.
Thanks for the hide and greetings from Switzerland

Hint proved a bit of a distraction. Get off your seat and have a look around. Thanks.
Thanks to users 'hints' otherwise I may have been looking like an idiot for a lot longer.
Dropped in on our way for lunch RobinYang and I found this one with ease. glad to see it survived recent flooding, this site would have been under water only a few months ago!
We made a quick park & grab before lunch at a nearby fish n chips restaurant. Took a seat, followed the hint and soon had the cache in hand. SL & replaced. TFTC!
After a beautiful lunch at the local fish and chips as this one was close by I had come and find it. Definitely so sitting required to find this one. Read a few previous logs and went for a bit of a short stroll and that's when I found the cache. TFTC
Agreed found it after previous comments said to change to rail instead of poles. But good cache thanks! Forgot to bring a pen

While on my trip around Tasmania looking for caches, this one was found.
After strolling around gathering info for the Earthcache, I started to drive off and realised that this one was here also, so I went back.
I headed to GZ and tried to understand which and where the hint was referring to, I looked around for a little while and eventually the cache was spotted, now I can understand the hint.
**Thanks to thewoolleys for placing this cache.**
Found this one on the way to collecting clues for a multi with nice views of the Tabar. The logbook was totally soaked though which made a signature very difficult - tftc
Found with the geo-crew during an afternoon bike-mounted assault on a few of Launceston's finest caches. There were just too many muggles around GZ during our first attempt. So we peddled over towards the Gorge for a while before returning for a proper search. Many thanks thewoolleys
Agree with previous comments, the hint is deceiving. Once off the deck it was a quick find, TFTC! Logbook is unrecoverable wet though, will need to be replaced.
Found this but was unable to sign the log as it was absolutely saturated from the recent flooding! It will need replacing.
Found during my first trip to Tasmania - a 10-day sight-seeing trip, enjoying the natural scenery while caching along the way.
Driving back home towards the ferry today I decided to stop in Launceston one more time - there is always time for another cache . I walked along the river enjoying the sunny weather and stopped to find this cache.
The clue didn't help, but referring to previous logs did and I soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks thewoolleys for the cache, which made the 2500km roadtrip more memorable .

This was a good one. Lots of muggle activity. Ignore hint, it's useless. You have to get off the deck to find this one.
With ICW on a sparkling morning, what a beautiful place. The magnet's position at bottom of container made replacement a little difficult. Tftc.
17/04/2016, 11:26 Find #2781 . 6th find for the morning with Facitman . There were a few muggles infesting the area but I skilfully retrieved the cache without notice
Cheers thewoolleys
Cheers thewoolleys
Found by Facitman in the company of Rhinogeo during our trip south to see the Hawks at 11:26
Another stealthy parking job by Rhinogeo reduced the walking distance to this cache to a minimum which enabled a quick find. We pleasant spot today with the sun shining but cool temperatures.
Thanks thewolleys

We decided we needed to grab one more cache before we could call it a day and this one had been bugging me as I had been down to look for it before only to find the place swarming with muggles! In full darkness we had much more time to hunt around. We're thrown off by the clue but others comments helped a lot! Satisfying end to the day. TFTC!
Found this after previously not finding it in exact the same place...must have not had on my geocaching glasses on! TFTC.
