I'm embarrassed to say that this find took the cumulative effort of.. 5 individuals (3 of which didn't help). Thanks to Barefootguru for helping me after I was overcomplicating the (lack of) math. It was bigger on the inside and well hidden.
Got the numbers without issue but boy I embarassed myself converting them into coordinates. Overthinking the obvious again! Easy nab for the cache itself, applied a bit of logic and realised fossicking on the road's edge is not what a sensible hider would intend. TFTC.
Enjoyed solving the puzzle it brought back fond memories of how I looked forward to watching the weekly TV episodes.A very quick find as cache was visible on approach. Managed to unearth a nest of little shining black jumping things, there were so many in one spot it look liked the earth was moving - had me leaping around waving arms and legs to make sure none ended up on me, luckily so far so good none hitchhiked home with me!!!!Cache now all tucked away in its home out of sight. A favourite point from me. TFTC jardisliketardis
Hiding behind the curtains from the daleks is one of my most vivid childhood memories. I never really got into them after that, but its never too late, and I certainly enjoyed this puzzle.Picked up the cache today. Wasnt in the first place I looked (lots of hint objects to choose from), but the coordinates were very accurate and I enjoyed looking through the contents of the tardis. Thanks for the fun puzzle.
Headed down to Wellington with tmann421 for today's event.Easily located in a well hidden areaSigned log tm/ww NZTFTC
Having done a bit of caching in town while matagouri was at an appointment, we then headed for Miramar to grab some more, particularly focusing on some LOTRs caches as I'm a huge fan.I'm also a huge fan of Dr Who, so it didn't take long to sort this puzzle out. We headed undercover to GZ where the container was quickly located, but had to stay hidden for a while as some muggles passed by.Thanks for setting this up
Out and about this sunny Sunday afternoon.. got no worries... time is slipping away... A cheerful sunny Sunday afternoon in the Capital a mere gentle zephyr out Mirimar way.Grabbing a cache I solved a long while back, needing a quiet afternoon spell to sneak in for the grab.I enjoyed the topic of this puzzle, alot of my working life feels like compressing time in a tardis. Oddly enough my new site has 'telephone boxes' for private conversations on the phone. Unfortunately they are beige (not blue). What will they think of next?Cache located after a little search, alot of leaf litter and natural rocks to be picked over.Cache in good condition, replaced as found and readded natural cover. TFTC.
Today is caching day - having got the gardening done yesterday. I have been eyeing up caching out the miramar penninsula so this was in my sights to be completed. A puzzle I had solved some time ago - great fun - thank you. A nice hidey hole indeed - cache is in great shape - thanks for bringing me here today. TFTC.
Absolutely beautiful Wellington day, so many people out enjoying the sunshine. I enjoyed the shade at GZ! Nicely hidden cache, bigger than I was expecting. There was a little bit of water in the outer container (duly tipped out) but the log was nice and dry. This was my last find of the day and afterwards I headed off for a lovely swim. Thanks for the puzzle and TFTC
Out and about this evening with YetiNZ, having bumped into him whilst chasing a FTF. He won that race, but still wanted a few caches more so we teamed up to go look for some more.
Yeti had already found this one a while back, but graciously stopped here to allow me to finally look for it having solved the puzzle quite some time ago. Doctor Who and I go back a very long way. I remember seeing the Daleks as an 8 year old whilst hiding behind my parents couch lol!
Walking towards GZ, I though I might have an issue with a parked muggle motor home, but soon realised I had to go in deeper to make the find. Once past the initial barrier, it was nicely open in there and the cache was found quickly in accordance with the Hint. No issues to report here, and everything was soon replaced as found.
Thanks for bringing me here today.

Love the puzzle. (Even though I wasn't allowed to watch it as a kid... we made up for it with our own kids). Finally found the tool to translate our data to coordinates. (So happy we went to Boxhill's recent event! ). Great final container. We had to cross a patch of boggy ground but luckily we found one area we could navigate. Very impressive object at GZ. Cache nice and dry. Giving this a FP cos we enjoyed the challenge and the fun. TFTC
We are caching around the Miramar Peninsula today, collecting mostly puzzle caches, many of which have been on our solved list since 2016. Our GPS was bouncing around here, shifting GZ from one side to the other. The cache was eventually found close to the first place checked. Thanks.
Very unexpected find on my daily run. Super happy there was a pen inside as I didn’t have one on me TFTC!
A good puzzle. I watched Doctor Who, well not quite hundreds of years ago, but a long time ago but don’t watch that often now. Some of the faces I recognised and a wee bit of research to helped me solve the puzzle. Cache is well hidden and lovely and dry. TFTC jardisliketardis.
This took me back to my youth when watching Dr Who. Cache nice and dry, and nice to be able to look for the cache out of the windy Wellington weather today. Out with Ethness having fun.
#1732. Despite my being a big sci-fi fan, Dr Who has never really featured in my TV viewing over the years. However, I have driven past this “tardis” a number of times, and noted it being GZ for this cache. But I never got around to solving the puzzle until last month. Today the sun has come out with a vengeance, and there are lots of people about. Found in the 1st place I looked - good hide and obvious log holder. Found with GB Leader.
Tftc jardisliketardis (very appropriate caching name for this). Took the pathtag left by last finder.

Love the rock and such a sheltered area under a tree with hearing peaceful lapping sea water till noisy traffic pass by!
It's late at night and I still do not have today's cache. And on tope of that my pocket computer says todays cache should be an "odd-sized" puzzle. I don't have a lot of options remaining for that, so I went out to find an "other" traditional, which I failed - hunting in trees at night is not exactly reliable. Then off to visit the Miramar trolls, for an easy virtual, which fits the "odd" requirement, and then to here for the puzzle.
I found the big rock, but thought the hide was decidedly dodgy - likely to get run over, And no cache there anyway. On the way back to the car, looking to see if there was maybe a hidden path up the hill I spied an inky blackness inbetween the slightly less inky blackness, so hopped in for a maybe. Ah!! BIG rock! This is what the CO meant! But no cache there. Over to the other side. No cache there either. Back to this side. Ah, hidden under lots of leaves. So well hidden that even when I found it I thought it was just a 200ml sistema, and was rather surprised at how much cache kept coming out of the hole. Kinda like those scenes of twenty keystone cops coming out of a mini. Or from behind a lampost.
Gets a favourite Like the puzzle and it a decent sized cache, all dry inside. Dropped in a path tag for the next finder.

As a lifelong fan (my life - I remember Patrick Troughton but Jon Pertwee was my Doctor), this was an easy puzzle but, as I passed the red TARDIS further down the road, I doubted myself. I shouldn't have. Due to a good hint, the cache was soon in hand. TFTC. Now time for breakfast.
Weekend getaway visiting the sights in windy Welly. Solved this puzzle a few days back. It gave Kiwi a headache trying to figure out the correct arithmetic required as well as what to do with the result but he got there in the end. Enjoying our afternoon drive and managed to snag this on the way past. TFTPuzzle
This puzzle confused me for so long. I was both over thinking and under thinking it at the same time. With a hint from a fellow cacher I managed to solve it and could track the GZ down. TFTC
After working out the answers we had to PAF to get help working out the final co-ords. We really liked the cache container, so topical. In our earlier years we really loved the doctor and the daleks, exterminate exterminate...... David Tennant is Mrs Gely57 fav doctor!
Having attended one International Geocaching Day event in Palmerston North today, and another I'm targeting a few specific geocaches, such as this one. Targeted due to its high FP count acknowledging a favourite subject of a few of us. And finally I get another stamp for the Wonders of the World souvenir hunt; the Taj Mahal.
No problems getting to this cache as I gather the Saturday afternoon traffic is easier than this time during the working week. No problems finding the cache. Yes, unique log container. And yes I passed the Doctor's red camoed tardis on the way. Nice one. TFTC

Solved this a while ago. Out with TharntheHalken, able to stop and find without too much of a search! Tftc!
After working with Flowerydaze on these puzzles it was good to get out and find some on a lovely Wellington day. This was not easy as the hint object had become covered in leaf litter so required a lot of scratching around like a hen. TFTC and the puzzle
I spent the first 3 weeks of the level 4 lockdown solving (or attempting to solve) geocaching puzzles. I suspect many of the caching community were doing something similar. This was one pf the puzzles solved and today was my first opportunity to get out and about with Talla64 finding some of them. Talla found the hint objects and cache after a search rather buried by the leaf litter. Thank you for the puzzle jardisliketardis and for the cache.
With a hire car at my disposal and a couple of hours to spare before my flight back to Nelson I took the opportunity for a further visit around the Miramar Peninsula to find some further caches which had escaped my attention on previous visits.
I solved this one a while back but never made it here on my previous couple of visits.
Made sure to put that to rights today, striking it lucky with a find of the good sized container in the first place I tried.
Took the TB.

This was solved some time ago in the hope of finding it on our next trip. A few trips later and today we had time for a driver around Miramar before heading for the Hutt. This was the first cache and we had no problems with the find. Dropped a trackable.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Solved the puzzle a couple of months ago, knowing we would be down visiting family for Christmas. TNLNSL. TFTC.
The first part of this puzzle was reasonably straightforward using knowledge I already had. But then, what did I end up with?! Took a few moments to realize what I had to do next to get a final location. Geocheck rewarded me by saying I was "bang on" despite being allowed some tolerance.
Today I materialized in the area required to find the cache after finding I had several in the area making a trip worthwhile. With not many places to stop along here it was good to see a decent place to pull over quite close to GZ, Once close enough a quick visual scan turned up something screaming "here be a cache" - and so it was. A pretty decent cache it was too. At first I didn't see the log but found it in a container that somehow blended in with all the swag.
As I returned to the car I was surprised to see some muggles that must as arrived while I was signing. No problem but when I got the car I found I was missing my GPS. The muggles didn't seem fazed by my disappearing back into the bush and re-emerging again seconds later.

Out seeing the seaside sights and we passed an old TARDIS on the way; albeit a camoed red one. Parked near GZ and followed the trial, and no time (or was it eons?) we signed in with The Doctor. Thanks jardisliketardis.
Driving along this windswept coast it was fun to pass an old telephone box - minus phone- and then find this cache.
thanks Baktrak and jardisliketardis

Visited again today with the kids, they loaded up with toys and left the same amount behind - great size cache this one, thank you

With a very healthy dose of the local miramark I managed to find this one... Still finding my way with these mystery caches...
Lots of swag in the cache! Will bring the kids back one day for some swaps.
Thanks!

I’m in the Windy City to attend the Wellington Mega with a few fellow Westies from Auckland. We’re having a great time as we explore the area collecting smileys as we go. Thanks for bringing us here, sorry for the copy and paste logs but am using a Cachly template to log as I go. Solved the puzzle before coming down and made a quick find while in the area
With a group of fellow west Aucklanders Merlot58, Aiden29 and Bertie Blowfish To attend the MEGA and for a fun long Labour weekend’s caching. Thanks to all the cache owners for setting up and maintaining the caches. Sorry for cut and paste logs. Log is almost fill and will need replacing soon. Tftp
Down in the Capital for an extra long weekend before exams start, with Jag50, Merlot58 & Bertie Blowfish. We headed out this side of the city to be close to the airport for our flight back to Auckland. I had solved this before coming down. Arrived at GZ and quickly found the final.
Headed to the Nation's capital for a Mad Mission with Team_Gaters to visit the MEGA and have a blast hooning around in our rental car. I grabbed TG at 5.30 am to get to the airport and we picked up the car from the airport at 8am. We figured we needed to be back at the depot by 4.30ish. We had a blast we didn't get crazy amounts of caches but we did get heaps of different types and scored the oldest one for TG. We ended up only driving 150km for the day. The weather was good. Caches were fun and bumped into a few cachers on the road.
We were now heading back to the airport and decided to grab a few more before dropping off the rental car.
Thanks for the cache jardisliketardis.

Cache number 51 of a total of 52 for today!

Talking with TheWanglers, an age ago it seems; that if WENZ made Mega we should look at taking a daytrip up from Christchurch to visit.....It did; and as it worked out - we could. So here we are. Early morning flight in, and a late afternoon flight out. A day trip full of fun, caches, dodgy parking...and more fun.
Late afternoon and heading towards the airport- time for a last few caches before returning the car and flying home.
Quick find in a lovely wee spot. Cheers!

mrandmrs in town, ahead of the WENZ Mega (day 3) - Found with KGS - Logged as MM78
Cache was out in the open exposed, logged find and recovered with stones
Log tattered (and space for about three more signatures). Might need attention soon

Caching with MrandMrsChosen1978, and having a wonderful time ! We're all from Southland and up for the Mega.
One of my favorite shows, solved with no problems. A quick find, all safe and dry here although the log paper is getting a bit worn.
A puzzle solved long ago but finally completed today A very windy day in Wellington but totally calm at GZ Must remember that when taking visitors for a tour of the town Enjoyed the puzzle thanks TFTC
One of several puzzles I'd solved in prep for my time in Wellington. Enjoying my wander around the peninsula.
Love my Dr Who so enjoyed the puzzle. Just found out it is the last season of the current Doctor so apt that I retrieved this today. A little fossicking around and the cache was soon in hand. Must be a favourite for this one. TFTC
#3068. Finally, after more than an hour of looking for three other caches and three DNF in a row, I have a container with a logbook. Yes. Was starting to put Miramar on my blacklist of places to avoid at all costs. Liked the puzzle. Loved the virtual coordinates. Nice match with the CO name. Quick search of the GZ and I had a cache. Great. Something to sign at last. All good here. Nice and dry. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache. Been a Dr Who fan since childhood so my sort of puzzle.
Enjoyed the puzzle which was solved back in January 2015 but had to wait until today to have the opportunity to complete the find. Thanks for the puzzle and cache.
Needed Barefootguru's help with final location. Found without too much difficulty.
Nice little puzzle, appropriate for jardisliketardis! Stupendous hint object. TFTC.
Selesi solved the DR Who, I worked out the likely cache position but geocheck didnt like it. However we found it today in about the calculated spot while going round this area solving waypoints for the multi "Round the bays". TFTC
Found with UlmusLynx while out collecting way points for another cache. The final had me a bit confused buy UlmusLynx had a hunch so we headed there not knowing what to expect. In the end it was a fairly quick find. Boy were we pleased TFTC
Wanted this to be a leap day find, as I thought that would be apt for the cache. So even though I solved the puzzle a wee while ago, I waited to hunt. Looked for quite a while, based on the clue in the geochecker. Have been back twice to hunt again as other likely spots needed investigating. Still no luck.
I grew up with Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker (3rd and 4th Doctors respectively). My children started with Christopher Eccleston (9th Doctor, or 10th if you count John Hurt). All those in between I had to research. Once done, the coordinates were quickly in hand, but it's taken a while to get over here. Easy find at GZ. Thanks
Loved this one. I'm a huge fan of the doctor and the tardis, so quickly solved and located this one. A fav point from me
After having found another "Doctor Who" cache a few days ago in Wanganui it was a must-do for StefTheVet and me to find this Tardis as well being Doctor's fans. StefTheVet as a huge fan knew the answers to the puzzle at once. We had a nice walk to GZ, enjoyed the landscape and the views and found the Tardis in good order. Lots of nice stuff in the container, we left a keyring for the Doctor, took nothing. This one is worth a favourite point! TFTC!
My family is steeped in Whovian tradition all the way back to Patrick Troughton (the second Doctor), so this was a must. Easy find, cache in good order, and one of my favourite pieces of Wellington coastline. SL TFTC
Initial puzzle was straightforward. Had to google a bit to extrapolate the final coordinates. TFTC Where's my screwdriver?!?
Have been past a few times, and thought I would have a go at solving the puzzle. But I am stumped. I am a newbie, so any chance of a hint please. Thanks.
I used to be a Doctor Who fan when I was younger. I stopped following it during the reign of the one with the hat, so I had to use google to find out about what has happened since then.
A quick find using the hint.
Nicely hidden.
Thanks.

Happy to solve another puzzler. This one with an historic theme clearly linked to the CO.
Once at GZ the find was straightforward. The cache in theme and stuffed with swaps.
Log signed, cache then safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

My final find of the day down in Wellington. Once I read the hint I zeroed right in on the hide. Thanks!
Wasn't expecting to be this side of town today, but when my driver decided she fancied going round the bays I jumped at thett opportunity to add this one to my tally. All in good order, Tftc.
A quick find with TregearP after needing to check a calculation rounding error off a web-script with JardisLikeTardis.
All in good order, picked up a TB that must have been there a while since we were the first to sign the log in 2015.
I grew up with Dr Who and remember it in Black and White before colour was introduced just before the 74 Commonwealth Games. Favourite Dr still remains #4.
Great cache, and enjoyed the find - a Favourite for me.

worked out the puzzle with annevoi (OK, she did most of the hard part), then the checked coords lead us to the cache... TFTC!
We just recently discovered Dr. Who--to the extent of actually watching the show (nos. 9 and 10). Of course, we've KNOWN about Dr. Who forever. In any event, I knew what the puzzle referred to, and pretty quickly came up with a solution. But just how to implement it remained a bit of an other puzzle--until one particular aspect of the equation, coupled with a log entry, jogged us in the right direction. Woot! We then hiked down the shore from our b&b, located the "Tardis," then continued on to GZ and made the find quickly. Great puzzle! I swapped a TB from Germany (that wants to visit only puzzle and multi caches) for the US one. Thanks for the fun time!
Had worked out probable coordinates some time ago but was muggled out last time attempted to look. Today another stunning Wellington day and needed to get out of office at lunch time so nipped over here. Had lunch with some fantastic views and grabbed cache. Nicely hidden for a big cache. Glad I was able to "exterminate" another mystery cache. Left a TB that I have held onto for too long. TFTP and TFTC.
Was very pleased to knock this one off. First part of the puzzle solved by a muggle Whovian colleague, then I sorted the second part, and a few days later we found the mini Tardis together on a fun excursion with Yosser 9. Tftc!

#801 I put my daughter and her friend onto solving this one. Both professed "Whovians". They did well, even though I miss read the degrees and was more than a tad off the first time. Second time, after checking and hitting the forehead a little, much easier. TFTC Ps second Dr Who cache I've done - the other was in Wanganui. Nice cache container there as well.
A bit embarrassed that I couldn't solve the puzzle without looking it up!
Easy find; Lots of goodies in the container; Miss Wicm Junior spent ages searching through for the best swap.

What a great place for a hide! It is like another world - very fitting for a Dr Who cache. Found with Skaga on a cache finding mission today. Liked the little tardis. TFTC
#1219 Part of a mini-assault of Miramar Peninsula with Nic-jay on a beautiful Spring afternoon. I solved this one about 2 years ago but never got around to picking it up. As we were driving past, I recognised the area from when I solved it and looked at the likely spot on google maps. Although I didn't have the solved puzzle on me today, it was only moments before the cache was found. A great puzzle, spot and container. TFTC!
As a big Dr Who fan I could not pass by this one. The puzzle was easily solved but without carefully checking the GPS went straight for a clearly visible hint object, then I looked up .... (could have been a scene from Dr Who). Liked the little Tardis. -TB
Considering I'm not the biggest fan if Dr Who (crazy i know!) had put this one off . finally got round to it today, along with mr google we managed to get the green tick on the first go, phew! quickly secured the cache today and dropped TB. TFTC
Was going to be in the area, so I thought I would have a go at this one. Puzzle seemed fairly straightforward, but my first attempt didn't work out. A bit of a think revealed a slight misinterpretation and I soon had the green tick. No problems finding the cache. TFTC.

Wow, what a well stocked cache! Almost as if it was bigger on the inside! TFTC

I had a few hours to spare between flights on my way to Sydney via Wellington today so decided to head out and find a few caches. The Biggles team are BIG Dr Who fans! I can remember being terrified by Dr #2 and watching many episodes from behind the couch. The younger generation can't see how those obviously fake cardboard sets could possibly have scared anyone and think that Dr # 11 is the best thing since a functional chameleon circuit. Anyway, here we are eagerly awaiting the 50th anniversary adventure and the introduction of the 12th doctor! I wonder if they'll let Peter Capaldi keep his accent... and the swearing???? I think not somehow. I looked at this puzzle quite some time ago and couldn't quite get it. Looked at it again a couple of days ago and noticed something I'd missed before. Aaah lights went on and the solution made sense. No problem with the search and find today. TFTC, Biggles.

Wow! The BaldEd team, after driving all around South of the CBD, found a place where they could pull over in a spot sheltered from the wind where they could partake afternoon tea. The bonus was that there was also a solved, by unsigned, puzzle cache within 15m. The Bonus was soon dealt to and thirst then quenched. TFTC.
This one ticked all the boxes for a good cache. An interesting puzzle and a nicely placed good size cache in excellent and dry condition with good quality swag. Well deserving of a favorite as soon as I have one available.
This did take me back in time because some friends used to rent a house nearby and I used to stay there overnight sometimes - it is the one that comes up if you enter the location in Street View though in fact it is some distance from GZ.
A pleasant though somewhat breezy walk from the nearest large suburb which meant a good close view of the Tardis.
Dropped off a TB, other trackables also teleported through. TFTC.

Solved this a while ago, and took the chance to complete the formalities on my way back from the airport.
Pleasant spot at GZ.
Thanks for the puzzle, and the cache.

KK33NZ and I thought we had this one solved and set about finding the cache, but no luck today. Still a great conceptual cache so gets a favourite point anyway. Cheers
