SL at 13:20. Too hot to search so used specific hint. TFTC. This really is the middle of no where.
Out visiting family from the UK and doing some caching with big brother Pprime. Today was our Nail Can Hill day. We had done some puzzle solving so had a few to collect although sadly a couple we could not crack. We had convinced the geomum to get up before the birds and drop us the other side of the hill with the plan being to come down Range Rd when we were done which leads us right to home. I am not a fan of up and very slow so we set off on the hike while still dark to get to the top then walked north to this cache where we started the hunt with the early morning light.
I made better time then thought so it was still quite gloomy when we got here but the hint led me right to it.
All in good order, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for placing this cache for me to find!!

Lovely time of day and great to be out in nature in a rather different habitat to my home base. Lucky me had an unplanned overnighter in Albury so this looked like a good destination for this gal on her trusty peddly treadly before heading home. Plenty of flowers and fine little spiders weaving large webs between trees so apologies for any webby work destroyed. When to take a decoy hint literally!?? More like under but found soon enough. TFTC and the FFFFFUN.
Lovely walk on a winters day, unable to cache on the other side of the river we thought we would do some local ones. Tftc !

A 2 day trip with ZQX to Albury and Wagga Wagga, focusing on some higher D/T caches. While on an approx 10km wander up, over and around NailCan Hill, we stopped by this cache. Easily found. TFTC.

Nicely placed for a breather after coming up the hill, found where it's supposed to be and in good condition. Tftc
Car in getting a service so what better way to spend the time than a bush walk and a few caches. TFTC trigpoint tom
Found on Wednesday when out for a lovely ride with D. Much happier geocaching in winter when scrabbling around the bush. TFTC.
An abbreviated holiday in Albury comes to end later today. But with all other plans canceled I was left with a morning to myself. Social Isolation in action .... I went for a little walk. Dropped off on Centaur Rd and hiked back along the Ridge, via the 'Falls' to Logan Rd. 10km, 3 hours, ten smilies. Bliss.
Heading towards 'home' now. My morning of self-isolation coming to it's fruition. And what more apt location than here. Perfect.
Thanks trigpoint tom for entertaining me at this location.

Spent an afternoon seeking native bees, wildflowers and other nature delights on NCH.
Love the hill and proximity to town yet a getaway as well. Spring a particular highlight.
Have wandered by this one on other visits, but today seemed a good time to seek it out.
Thanks for creating and maintaining it trigpoint tom - super spot!

After finding the Butterflies on Nail Can cache thought I may as walk an extra 1km to my next unfound cache on the hill. A great sunny winters day to be out with a few walking dogs and others out on their bikes.
A quick find at gz.. signed log and returned cache as found.. thanks trigpoint tom....

This was a nice quick find, which was good as I was a little worn out after hiking up the hill from the last one
This was going to be my last cache for the day but after doing get over it. I saw a big hill after it and chickened out on going up it. I double backed and took the easier ridge track up pass this one. Got to gz read the hint and put the gps and phone away and made a quick find TFTC. Lovely area
Quick find after a long but pleasant walk from my accommodation. Some great views but did have to dodge a few bike riders. Thànks.
Great day for a walk out with the Wackyweedos. With the hint we soon had this in hand. TFTC!
Bug spray. Sunscreen. Hat. Battery bank. camera. Pencil. check check check check check check. TAKE WATER WITH YOU
Out caching with TobyKim. Parked at the memorial gardens below and walked straight up the hill. It was a slow and strenuous climb, but we eventually got there. A quick find on the three in this little triangle. TFTC.
Located this on our way from Logan Rd to Jindera gap. Dogs lived it. Tftc trigpoint Tom. Swapped a rubber for a kinda surprise toy.
Haha! So blatantly obvious but Ive ridden past so many times without even thinking.
Out for a walk with the dog and stopped to find these three. Beautiful day and great caches!
Quick find, thankfully just after we passed a mountain biker. We appreciated the very detailed hint as the brain wasn't functioning overly well by the time we got to the top of the ridge! 3.19km return trip from centaur rd in 2.5hrs with 2 kids on mountain bikes & 2 pups. Pretty sure we pushed the bikes further than the kids rode them on the way up. Great morning exploring the trails on nail can (6 smilies all up) & from the geokids mouth "best day eva"! Thanks for placing the cache in another great location - love bush hides.
[:(!] Went for a caching walk for several hours and this was one of them.

We came up from Gap road and walked the ridge track to pick up this cache.
It took us four and a half hours in total to pick up 8 finds for the day and Ripper the Chocolate Lab loved every step.
A quick find here and we loved the walk and the views for the track on this beaut caching day. TFTC

Found 16/6/13 whilst walking from gap rd to centaur rd with my sisters and dogs.

# 5868 Found while in town for a weekend of events and get-togethers.
After the cleanup it was time to venture up high to find a few that I hadn't been able to get to yet.
The MTB had a good run at these few although the uphill climb was slow going.
Another quick stop and find and then on to the next one.
Thanks for the cache trigpoint tom,
Roostaman.

Reperio at 1845.
I only had a few daylight hours left, and I had my eye on finding the caches along nail can before leaving town tomorrow, so I left from Centaur Road and headed straight to this one to grab the others on the way down. There were a few MTB's heading down but none going up...but after the short steep climb I was soon at GZ. I always love returning up here...although it's been a while, so thanks for the excuse.
Gratias TT.

#2973 This was our last cache of the day.... No.7 .... but what a brilliant afternoon we had! This is the reason why we could not fairly choose one favourite cache so the next best thing was to make it a favourite afternoon . Not being mountainbikers, our afternoon was completed on foot and we clocked up 11+klm for the day (not including the traipsing done down Dean Street earlier ) - a nice precursor to our hiking season. The GeoPrincess, however, was now loudly announcing that her "battery power was running low" (is that the DS Generation [?]). To keep her motivated she was given the GPSr to navigate to the cache & to take her mind off her declining energy levels. She located the cache after a little bit of prompting but as soon as she was headed for the car, she was off like a horse turned for home . Thanks to trigpoint tom for your contributions to our very enjoyable afternoon, for the views and taking us to places we've never been. We'll all sleep well tonight......we then headed off to get that promised icy . Cheers [^]
With our obvious love of hills in mind we decided to take this one from Davies road with the geodog in tow. Had a great time on this walk, it was a lovely sunny day and we saw not a soul, we really did feel isolated.

Not a day of huge numbers today, but a very nice 9 caches found in the Nail Can Ranges with fellow cacher Mr.David.... We started at the northern end where we left the car and made our way to the Range Road end, where when finished we had a lift arranged to return us to the car. I also had three of my kiddies with me, Jasmine, James and Jemma. We enjoyed a picnic lunch in the bush to make the day that much more enjoyable. In all we walked about 9 kms in around 4 hours picking up 2 mystery caches and 7 trads.
Found nice and quick by the kids. We let them search for all of them today. After the cache business was taken care of, we had our bush lunch. TFTC.

A quick flying trip to Albury for work, and I'm able to grab a few caches before I leave. Gotta love that. Thanks for the fun in Albury, next time I'll have to stay longer.
It is a beautiful day so what do you do but go out and grab some local caches. We hit the hill from range road and made our way along. It was a long walk but well worth it.
How busy is this area with bikes, walkers and dogs. This is a beautiful part of the world and we couldn't believe we have never been here before. We will certainly be back.
We located the cache and off to the next cache. Thanks trigpoint tom for sharing the views with us.

3rd for the day on this quick trip out this part of Nail can hill, not a side that I have ventured out to very often.
Enjoyed the off track walking between the traditional caches out this way for something a bit different. Explored the nearby rock formations before locating the cache. Only saw a few roos the whole walk and not another soul about, sure made the cache feel - isolated
TFTC, Cheers.

Out on my usual early morning ride I thought I'd cruise past here and grab this cache. My usual friend wasn't with me as she has gone away for work. Good excuse because it was freeeeeeezing at 6am and dark. TFTC
Hello everyone,
Today I checked out "Isolation" after the Nail Can Hill Run held on the weekend and decided to try out the Davies Trail for cache access.
This is probably the shortest route to GZ by foot 'as the crow flies', but it is a tough climb, especially with my geoson Ryan on my shoulders.
I have posted a Trailhead Waypoint co-ordinate in the cache details for those wanting a good hard workout. Parking details for this access point will be placed in the cache description.
Please take time at this point to read the little plaque on the nearby gate regarding 'Sundance'.

A bit of a lazy Sarurday morning until Big Ez decided he'd jump on the mountain bike and go for a ride through Nail Can to grab this cache.
Quite a bit of a slog on the way up the hill, but sure refreshing on the way down.
Never dissapointed with a ride through Nailcan and for a cache, even better.
Heaps of people out practicing for the Nailcan Hill run this morning.
Many thanks Trigpoint Tom for another great spot.
Cheers!
