We thought this might be a tricky one to grab at 11:00 am on a Sunday morning but as it turned out we managed it easily. Found some long lost relatives resting nearby as an extra bonus. TFTC.
Detoured via Longford and Cressy to collect a few caches on our way home. A quick find. TFTC
Waiting, waiting.... Elderly couple enjoying lunch within stones throw of the cache. Patience never a strong point.... went and had a coffee to return for a quick find.. thanks..!!
TFTC Sally didn't reach out to us only the 2 muggles practicing their fly fishing skills on the lawn!
2nd cache on the 1st day of our Tassie holiday. Off to find some lunch now. TFTC
Cold wet miserable day, but the rain speed long enough to go for a quick walk and find this one.

Thanks Zentanglers for another smiley face in Longford. Container had fallen to the ground so placed it back in the 'cubby hole'. RoamingParsons from Bargara, near Bundaberg.
We really like caches that are hidden near old churches as you not only get to find a cache you also get the opportunity to view these wonderful old buildings and sometimes even get the chance to see the interiors.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
The church was not open on our visit the wife rattled the handle to be sure. This did not bring forth Sally but a few minutes later a car rushed up to the door and people hurried inside leaving the car doors open - coincidence?
#1787 - Found by M in the place where B initially looked. It was there, just not so blue. Church is open from 10am to 12 Noon for a look at the fantastic stained glass windows and a history of the initial design with spire. The special cemetery section has some first fleeter tombstones within. Nice morning for a cycle ride from Brumbies Weir to Longford. All part of the fun and challenges on our AroundOz bicycle challenge. Many thanks to Zentanglers for establishing and maintaining this cache.
Another days touring and what better way of checking out an area than by spending it caching. Tried this one earlier today but a lady was sitting on a nearby seat.
Thanks Zentanglers

Visiting beautiful friends in Longford they told us about the cache and with 1% battery I just had to come and find it. Lucky with success
Logging geocaches now that I am back from my Tassie trip. Found on the 14/1/15. TFTC!!!
Unable to find this one.. I can see where it would have been, but unfortunately it may have been removed? great spot to take some photos of a beautiful old church.
What a great cache, got offered morning tea by the knitting club ladies and had an impromptu concert on the lovely organ. Tftc
What fun we had here. When we arrived at GZ the parish ladies were having a social morning and invited us into the church for home made biscuits and coffee. We had a look around and a chat and when we showed interest in their historic organs the organist gave us a recital. After a lovely morning with the parishioners we quickly found the cache and then took of towards the boat!
We were travelling through this quaint little town on our way to the East Coast and decided to make a quick stop to grab a cache. I made the quick find after a wander around the church to the GZ. This sure is a lovely and historic park. SL TNLN TFTC
This obe is in a lot better condition than the Christchurch cathedral that I visited! TFTC
Post-Christmas lunch walk yielded this cache fairly quickly. Forgot a pen though, so had to return on the way home. TFTC!
Tassie #3 Found with Tom B Raider. Dropped a trackable which I had brought over from Zimbabwe. Tftc
Found this one with Greenmealie all the way from Zimbabwe. Left a trackable. Tftc
I last tried finding this cache a bit over a year ago. Back then a hot day curbed my enthusiasm for finding the cache. Today the weather was much more conducive to caching, so I was determined to find the cache.
Not wanting to go through another fruitless search, I had a bit of a think about where the cache might be hidden, changed where I was looking, and hey presto, there it was! I felt kind of silly that I spent so long looking for it last year in the wrong spot. Signed log, and swapped smiley badge for puzzle. Thanks for the cache.

After a quick search I located this one easily. But I must say the church is a grand old building. Everything is in order, Tftc.
A nice drive through the churchyard to find the cache.

It took us a while to find this after a well meaning church volunteer turned up and asked what we were up to. Cleaning out the beer bottles, bongs and rubbish we were. What good citizens. Found it discreetly and were then told the bush is in for a prune do we replaced it lower down and further in, out of harms way from sheers. TFTC.
Excellent hide spot but not regular size just small ... Signed the log. Thanks Zentanglers
A nice quick find with lleibio and WKLC after a bite to eat at the amazing bakery/café. TFTC.
