This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

I agree with Winning Adventurers. Stuck my hand as far as I could in the hole. Nothing there. Thanks anyway.
There were heaps of dodgy people there near a broken down car so decided not to look
Came for a look today but no sign of anything in the crack from photo. Might need to check it out Walter but cheers for bringing me up here
Found, only thanks to the spoiler alert photos... thought we were looking for a micro. We swapped the toy and our little boy went home with a feeling of pride and satisfaction

Compass led to us to the back of the water tank, where we met the next door neighbour. He told us we were on “private property” and that he did not like people looking for geocaches there - apparently we weren’t the first he had encountered.
He also pointed out a very steep drop in the vicinity of GZ. CO may want to review this location.

Travelling around Australia using Geocaching as our Tour Guide.
Staying in Walkamin, today we headed down to Cairns for some shopping and somehow ended up with a pub lunch and of course detoured a little finding caches along our way.
Lovely drive to get up here. Now time to head back.

Too hard for my dodgy legs and overgrowth overgrown, not game to enter the forest!
The plan this weekend is to find 86 caches in cairns to help my companion Burgo78 reach his 1000th find by next weekend. This is find #50. Terrain is definitely 4.5 made looking for the cache much harder. Eventually found it out in the open. placed it back in its original spot. Log is damped. Thanks for the adventure.
Hitting Cairns with Team BlackPearl26 to try to collect 999 finds to set up my 1000th at my Townsville event next Sunday, 364 days after finding my first.
BlackPearl tells the story. Quite an adventure.

Travelling today with Ellarucci's geokids. After reading the comments, we were a bit worried about how slippery and treacherous this was going to be, given that it has poured for some time now. All good! Some viscious swapping to be had and I've collected the trackable to take to Melbourne next week! TFTC.
What a beautiful view from up here. Found cache halfway down the bank in the open.
Replaced it back where spoiler photo has it.
Left Pathtags & TB.

So. After about 45 mins following my dodgy GPS taking me all the way to the bottom of the hill, I re grouped, finally spoted it, shed a tear, signed the log Tip for future searchers : Dont go all the way down the hill!!! You will have many regrets. TFTC
Ok walter, really love but hate your hides at the same time. After a nervous climb down as I was slipping I was thankfull for the gps. It got me to within half a metre and in typical walter style I looked for the rock first. Tftc today on this my 32nd birthday. A great way to try out my new gps.
In Avoloz's good company I looked for the hide. It was still in good shape.

Out and about on this beautiful, mild autumn morning with my good GC friend Walterhellmut. bit of a scramble in the bush, but finally got it - two switched on minds on a mission ... +/-0. T4TC.
A hidden gem behind suburbia. A bit if a scramble and the mosquitoes were rampant! A multitude of possible places in between wild swatting! Took the TB to move it on and left a whistle to shatter the silence. TFTC!
Visiting from Vancouver,Canada out caching with our son. He descended the steep terrain to make the find. TFTC.
Well, the terrain certainly wasn't under rated. Difficult and scary to reach gz, not much for hand holds and kept sliding. Geokid had to go ahead of me on this one to get to the goodies. Didn't pick up the TB as we've come across Monty before. Way to go, TFTC Walter
Gotcha! Finally a Helmut cache in my grasp! TYFC. Dropped of a trackable.

The original container was really muggled - including [:(!]two trackables[:(!]! Today I replaced it with a one Liter Sistima. The accessibility became much harder, though.

North Qld 2013. Day 19 Cairns to Port Douglas via Kuranda. I had a good look around, but without going down the slope there were not too many spots to look. I hope it turns up. Thanks.

We looked and we looked, all sets of eyes searching where the GPS said to look. We've come out scratched and wrapped in vines, but no geocache today...will have to try another time.
Still no luck. Will wait for another fellow geocacher to log this one I think.
Damn, I've been looking forward to this one and have had it on my radar for a while but... no luck. I don't know what happened. We spent an hour there and searched absolutely everywhere using the hint and other logs. Saw the MASSIVE orb, he was a beaut (and lucky I'm short), circled his home quite a few times and everywhere else. Saw some spots that would have been good. This has me befuddled. We did see lots of chopped up paw paw around spidey's home and the area which at first we thought was the cache but, nope. I think they belonged to the house above. Will be back in Cairns in a couple of days and will check it out again.
Decided to make the most of having the hire car for the last day so drove down from Port Douglas on a holiday geomission . Parked the car nearby and strolled over to GZ-where I too saw the MASSIVE Golden Orb spider ! I stood there and admired the awesome thing for a few minutes before beginning the search. I decided to go the way of the magic arch where I then found the well hidden cache Dropped 2 x TB's to continue their journey. Great views of the mountain! Thanks, walterhellmut
Nearly came face to face with a very large Golden Orb! Once we regained our composure, we found the cache. Thanks!
We would like to know how many water tanks are tucked away in the hills around Cairns and if there are any that do not have a cache at them. They are just perfect to show us great views and the only problem we encountered were the ants, and they are part of Cairns and Nth Qld. SL TFTC
With Fangsoki and there was indeed a great view to be had, there was also a huge spider to be seen however, unfortunately, there was no cache to be found for us today.
No joy for Captain Terror and I today - but we did find the world's biggest spider near GZ. I dislike spiders and Captain Terror was no fan of this large fellow today either. We hunted about and found no cache. A nice area though. TFTH.
What a great hiding spot for the cache. Really nice view in all directions. I have to admit that the hint was used and I am glad I checked, found within seconds of checking.
Cache is still in great condition and watertight.

#1241 13th of 17 caches found while escaping Melboune's cold winter for an all too brief holiday in this beautiful part of Australia. Thanks walterhellmut.
Amazing views great location. TFTC my boys took one toy car and left two more. We chatted with the owners of the house for 10-20 mins

Found @ 3pm. Had a moment to spare this afternoon and was in the area so I headed up the hill to see the views. A nice quiet place with no muggles to see you searching. Used the clue as there were just too many options. T TB Left Signature. Sorry no swaps with me today.
TFTC SL. The views are worth the visit.

A quick visit to an area of Smithfield that we had never visited before. A lovely area with great views and great breezes.
Located the cache after a brief search of the GZ.
Signed the log but took nothing and left nothing. TFTC Walter.

Dropped in to look for this cache on my way home. Had to search for some time to come up with the goodies. How can a cache be so hard to find I ask??? Well Walter has a good knack of making things tricky sometimes. Nonetheless, a very nice hide and congrats to Bamster for a FTF on this one. SL TNLN TFTC
FTF at 10.36am.
I saw this come up and assumed that Biggles58, Spinmeout or Wazza&Kara would be hot on the trail to get the FTF and their log had not yet been done. But, what the heck, I went for a drive to see what would await me. I was able to safely park across the road and walk easily to the cache. Lo and behold, a FTF.
I could see from Walters footprints where he had been. So an easy find.
Thank You Walter for bringing me to a nice place that without GeoCaching, I would never have been.

Thanks for this picturesque cache walter, a wonderful part of the world, with great views. GPS was going haywire under the trees, and spent quite a lot of time, retracing steps to try to get accurate direction. note for other caches, don't venture to far down the hill, as it can be rather slippery... and a big drop. Eventually found the cache, lovely spot. TN, left Hot_Wheelz racer.
