Checked today - and it indeed was missing. Perhaps it was run down - or over - but probably just tidied away. Not replacing again - maybe someone else can find a creative way to use a space.
Dear Sobads, we struggle with your hides. The puzzles we get, the caches we don't. We have been here four times before. Yes four times ! We did not record a DNF before as we have always thought it was just us. However, this evening we came to try again and this time we brought four geocaching friends with us. All of whom have found it before. We were hoping to learn the secret of your hides but to no avail. Our SoBad blindness must have been passed on to our friends as they couldn't find it either. Well, of course it could be missing ?
We will watch and wait.
We will watch and wait.
This place has always been so busy when I have passed in the past. However this was early morning and all quiet. And there it was waiting for me.
A nice find, thanks SoBad

Found while out doing a few caches on this sunny but cool Sunday ,,certainly is run down all right Thanx4tc
A lovely park and grab almost reloaded my torch , but didn't. Clever cache thanks So Bad. A fav
After staying the night at Edward Baigent Domain in Wakefield. We decided to go do some local caches and then try a wherigo. After that we were heading to Motueka. This one was on the way. It was a very good one. I can see how it got all those favourites.
This was worth the stop. Took a few pics. Heading toward rabbit island for the wherigo and afee others after spending the morning in motueka. Thanks for the cache.
Have been meaning to stop off for this one for ages, and today it was an instant find after Monkeying Around. Great hide. Good one, thanks.
This spot always makes me chuckle, the cache made me smile as well. Cheers and TFTC
Having driven past the GZ on the way to Rabbit Island recently, I know I'd need to time my visit well - either early am or late pm.
So early am it was today. Pulled up - only one other car in the area (but that's always there!) - and started my search.
I didn't read the description properly, so started looking in all the wrong places - well the 'feature' is run down after all - but then paid more attention to the GPS which was suggesting a few metres away.
I take a look here and there, but not seeing any promising, start to get a little dispondent. But c'mon! It's only a 2/1. It can't be that tricky, so, more out of frustration, I half-heartedly take a look at one possible location...and whad'ya know? What a clever little hide.
Thanks

Forgot to log while on holiday with monkeymoo1. Been here before in April 2014 and was a DNF, came back today and found with in a few minutes. Great cache!
Another weekend day, another mission, and another time with the Seagnoid in the co-pilots seat. Todays target was types in a day; I was targetting an improvement on my previous (puny) five and seven were up for grabs (wish I'd 'saved' the Brightwater virtual a couple of weeks ago but ho hum)
A not so early start time had us on the road just after seven and getting back oround 9 in the evening made another long, but satisfying, caching day and experience. we were targetting traditional, multi, mystery/puzzle, earth, letterbox, wherigo and event in Stoke to be the cherry on the cake. In the end I managed a satisfying six types, gave up on the earth ccahe at Kina Sea cliffs as too far to walk with the start time for the event looming. Still managed over 50 in a day which was very satisfying, including a bonus F T F to finish the day off, thanks gahaylock.
A head turning thing here and I asked seagnoid if the was a cache there. Yes there is, of course. Nice cache container, not seen one like that
T F T C and F P for the container

[green] On a day excursion from Blenheim to Nelson with Taybee and TaybeeNZ. Rained over the hill but nice and clear here. This is my first trip with the Taybee Clan and I got my introduction to their technique. Taybee points in the general direction and TaybeeNZ dashes off, finds and retrieves the cache before I have a chance to blink. They are a pretty awesome team to watch!
Oh dear. The cache hide is obvious. It's going to be a stupid little nano, or maybe a better micro, magnetic to the car. Bugger that. I left the Taybees to search while I organised ice creams. Then discovered the ice cream man doesn't take eftpos, so Taybee had to pay for them. Sorry, mate. Then we realised what was wrong and found the cache. Signed, then returned back to pick up the ice creams, which were now ready, for a well earned break.
This cache annoys me. It would be worth a favourite if it was a different size. But it is so cool! It's worth a favourite anyway! But it's the wrong size! But it's so cool! In the end I decided you get one, mostly because I have so many to give away .

En route to Rabbit Island, so stopped by to have another look for this after not finding it a few months ago. Pleased to see the coast was clear this time, and even better, a cache right where we thought it should be . Great hide.
A feature well deserving a cache, thanks for replacing it.

#7937. Stopped off for another look (post cache replacement this time). I saw something I didn't think was the cache, and said to Troodles, was that all I could see was a ....... She told me that it was the cache, and sure enough it was! Nice container. TFTC.
Replacement cache went in today. Slight change of position as the area had been altered but the original coordinates still work.
We had a good look where the GPSr was pointing, and even where it wasn't, but after realising it hadn't been found since last year, we decided to pull the plug.
A campervan was parked close to GZ, but it seemed to be deserted (though still made us a bit self-conscious while searching). Still, had a pretty decent look. Time for an owner check?
Took a bit before we realised after looking at the cache a few times! Great clues, clever cache, worth the patience!
Was ready to give up on this one - then it turned out whovian01 and I had actually found it and disregarded it right at the start. Great hide.
Nice cache and an innovative container, haven't seen one like this before! Found quickly in one of the first places I looked thanks to good accurate coordinates. Signed log, TFTC!
I have to confess to not even seeing the container as Kitty! took care of the paperwork on this one, once I had distracted her from inspecting the main feature. Does the yellow van still park here? No sign today! TFTC
Found it on my way back home from Valentine's event. What a claver container, like it. TFTC
Found while out doing a little Waitangi Day geocaching with Team RJ and others, that was until the loss of data capablity, battery power on the GPS and my forgetting my info notes led to an early cessation of activity... Love the Herald.

Still on the hunt for more of 'The Quest' caches, I headed fruitlessly down this road. Had to stop here on the way back. Cache easily found (but the lid was missing). TFTC.

A very nice cammo job and a great location. Thanks fror the fun and for the cache SoBad.
Found - TFTC - nice find. Spent a long time looking for this one.. the "Run Down" feature threw us off a tad
TFTC. Haha. Funny as. We stopped for ice creams but none here today. We actually found the last cache here even tho it had been disabled. Was always disappointed not to be able to log it. So thanks for the new hide. Clever!! Back to looking for ice creams and caches.
In town for a wee family holiday. Mr G grew up in Richmond. Spent a fun afternoon pottering on the beach with the extended family. Rude not to find a few caches on the way out. Found after I searched where the GPS was pointing! Nice one. Great use of an old car. Cheers.
Hey, woof... JC Cache Dawg here...
I'm loading all my finds from my Alpha Males (aka GenCuster) logs, where he deigned to remember that I was with him... As if he could forget...12:05 I loved this cache. Ran up then down then up again. Wee bunny chaser that I am

Expected this cache to be hidden elsewhere until both Spankymoore and me relied on the accuracy of the Garmin Dakota. quick dash and find. Very innovative. TFTC

This cache was found as part of my epic as move down south to Christchurch from Auckland - A drive that involved around 3,000km, 350 caches, 14 days, and a bit of a detour through East Cape, Gisbourne, Napier/Hastings, some back roads in the Wairarapa, Cape Pallisier and Nelson/Tasman as well as every CANZ cache along the way that I was still missing. (Hence my excuse for the not as interesting log as I usually try to make mine.) But thanks to every awesome amazing as cacher that placed caches along these roads, you made my trip awesome, and very cache happy!
Awesome wee spot! Loved the re use od the old car!

Found on the way home after a lovely walk on Rabbit Island. Suffering a little from jet lag by this stage. TFTC
Stopped here on our way off the island. No ice creams yet. It must be appearing sometime soon. Feeling not the least bit run down after our walk to Mapua for lunch.

My GPS went crazy but didn't stop me finding the cache. Found with La Vista during a day out in the countryside. TFTC
I'm sure this really cute model has run up, down, around everywhere before stopping here in the shade of a tree !
Got totally distracted by the interesting feature at GZ and spent some fruitless searching time underneath it ! Then actually read the instructions and the cache was soon in hand.

Drive passed this often. Kids always comment about it and have a laugh. Great spot for a cache. TFTC.
Needed more than TLC so container replaced, log swopped over and an extra layer added.
