Easy find but still cool to find the owl

This cache was one of those found around or on the leap day February 29th, 2024 before, during or after the Mega event in Adelaide. Many thanks to all those owners who placed caches that VK7HCH and I found during our trip from Hobart to the Mega and return home again.

Now whoo left that there. Happy St Beryls day. On our way to GCA1DNA

I had the hint running through my mind as I reached for the prize. Swivel baseplate, swivel baseplate. I reached up to swivel and aghhhh a huntsman dropped out he didnt move from his spot on the ground, watching me as I tentatively and shakily swivelled hoping he didnt have his family over for dinner and they were still inside. Luckily, no. I quickly filled in the log, replaced and said sayonara to my new mate on the ground who Im sure was still watching me. Cheers for the cache

Out hunting smileys the other night and headed to this one. Felt a bit sus with the crunching of the ground around the back fences while dark, but feelings aside, I made the find easily. Container was on the ground and the Owl looks like it needs some TLC. TFTC.

I quite like the new feature on the maps that shows the caches with lots of FPs. It certainly pointed this one out to me and helped me make my decision to stop for a look.
