Due to work being done here so often and muggles I am archiving this cache. Since it had to be moved from its original position I have had nothing but trouble with this cache. Sorry about the inconvenience to all.
Been work here done recently just need confirmation its still here went in for a chat xx
I am disabling this cache until I can get there to check and see if it has gone since there has been works there. Sorry about any inconvenience.
DNF two attempts. Yesterday and today. Today I took a more experienced GC'er (RAAINJOY) and she couldn't find it either. Both our gps's pointed in the same spot. Just hope it hasn't been moved as works were done in the past week or so where our GPS pointed to.
Will try this one again real soon. I'll be checking to see if anyone else local has any luck with this one.

This was a sneaky hide. I looked for about 5min and was about to call it quits then something caught my eye. I sat back and signed the log. Enjoying the Sculpture and the building. Looks like a nice cafe here as well.
Thanks **The 2 Wanderes**

Did not find...spent about 15min looking but kids have colds so didnt want to spend too long outside...There was alot of muggles around and was getting a few strange looks will need to try this one again
After the Doc told me to have the day off I decided I needed a bit of fresh air and what better way to get some fresh air then going out caching. This was a tricky one to grab as there were bible bashers set up nearby. "O look my shoelace in untied". Found/Signed/Replaced. TFTC.
Pulled in for coffee and noticed cache nearby. Made the fairly easy find and replaced in its hiding spot tftc.
A late afternoon trip to the recycling centre nearby after cleaning out the garage so I rewarded myself afterwards by stopping off for a cache. A fair few people around at GZ but I luckily put my hands on the cache in the second place I looked. Thanks for the cache.

I'm sorry to the CO on this one as I found it with buzzsmc on my last trip through Melton and did not log it. I remember thinking we could be here for a while searching with not too many muggles around but made the find after a short search. Sometimes you hit the jackpot early . Replaced as found.
**Thanks for placing this trad cache The 2 Wanderers**

Quick find on my way home after visiting a friend. Great spot. Went straight to the obvious place. TFTC
While waiting for diner a scan of the area showed this was close and not a D1.5/T1.5 so we over. The muggle count was very low and after getting into the right position the hid was soon found. We added out initials and re hid. TFTC.

After attending the nearby Intervening Days event, we targetted three caches in the township of Melton before we headed back up the highway. On arrival there were a couple of shady people hanging around, so we joined in their search before Mr Tritonz soon had his hand on the cache. Thank you 2 Wanderers for the cache and the interesting history of this building.
In Melton today to attend the local Intervening Event to catch up with our caching buddies in this festive season. After saying our farewells it was off to grab some caches in between the light showers ofannoying rain. We clearly got sprung in our search here this afternoon but luckily not by muggles but by friendly team of chooknchunk! Mr T got his hands on this hide first as we admired the recent improvements to the old Melton Court House .
Thanks The 2 Wanderers for showing us here today and sharing the history of the building.

After visiting TABCORP Park for the VMC's Toy Run I had a quick hunt for this one. It was a relatively quiet day in this part of Melton, so a quick and easy find today and nice to have a fresh log to sign.
Cache is in good condition.

Please except my apologies for not getting this cache up and running as quickly as I'd hoped. Whilst works still continue on this area I am unable to get to the location where this cache will be replaced. I must admit that the last week I have been away and in hospital but I am back now and will check the situation out tomorrow Tuesday 13th and will post mother update tomorrow night. Thanks once again for your patience.
This area is still undergoing major upgrades and I am unable to replace the cache just at the moment. I am in constant contact with the people in charge of these upgrade and am assured it is not going to be much longer before this cache is back.
Thank you for your patience. This is quite an historical site in Melton and really would like to get the cache back there as soon as possible.

Sorry about the delay on this one but major works in upgrades are still continuing at the site. I will let you know as soon as the cache is replaced. Thank you for your patience.
Sorry about this cache being disabled but renovations to the site near this cache is still ongoing. Will get this cache back ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Unfortunately this cache is still unavailable to the public because of the maintenance and further refurbishment to the Old Court House. This cache will be up and running as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience to fellow geocachers.
Unfortunately we have to temporary disable this cache while there is upgrade works happening to the area where GZ is. We will keep you informed as to what is happening and when it will be available again.
Our apologies to everyone.
Our apologies to everyone.
Didn't exactly find it. The cache was taken away by a couple of other people because there is a construction going on, so the cache is gone now :/.
For information- there is temporary fencing around the building as part of landscaping etc. of the area. I don't know if it will seal off GZ but cachers should keep it in mind if travelling a long distance to find this cache.
Unfortunately I had to do what I hate doing for caches, ask for assistance. Coords, static map and clue had me looking a fair distance off from the actual hide. A lady in the info centre pointed me in the general direction, though, and I then had the cache in hand within seconds.

Wow, looking for legit 20 seconds and found it straight away! Great camo and T4TC!
Made plans to head out with the family and na'wal. The plan was to achieve 100 in a day by completing the mount disappointment series then by going home via Sunbury and Melton. The daily total ended up being 113.
The day started with a car/truck collision on the freeway so we were stuck for around half hour and then back on our way.
A very quick find made by nawal. I thought it would have taken longer.
Log signed and replaced.

Damn good hide! Had Shia-tan trying to send me astray due to him finding it earlier. Love the hide. TFTC
Very clever hide. Came here earlier in the week with Miss 7 but it was dark & we had no hope. Came back today with an extra set of eyes. Another bit of hunting & eventually the cache was found. Clever hide, well done
found in 10 secs but only because i have found ones like this in geelong and had a feeling it would be same again here once i saw the area. otherwise i could see it taking forever for most cachers
After searching around a bit where the coordinates and map indicated, I asked inside. They were only vaguely aware of this strange activity that one of their colleagues did on the weekends and weren't in the know of where this one was located. After heading back out I looked in a likely spot along the wall and made an easy find. TFTC. 8/03/2016, 13:58 Find #1583
This is the first geochache I've found. Thanks 'The 2 Wanderers' for a clever spot to hide this cache. I know this building and visited recently to look around. The clues about keeping away from the garden and tables and chairs (outdoor cafe) were helpful. Couldn't access the location at my first visit because there was a muggle with a big air compressor in front of the hiding place. All clear now. Cache is in good condition and will last a long time.
Found with many thanks. In fact, this was probably one of the easiest D4 caches I've found. Popped into the gorgeous building (enjoyed the related cache notes info) to see if Reg or Rosemarie were in and luckily for us we were able to say hi to Reg, half the COs. While I was thoroughly enjoying the Visitor's Centre and chatting away, geokids slipped outside with CO and eldest geokid made the find and hand-delivered it to me. That was nice geocaching! Haha
Signed log then went to see where it had been located. Wow; very cool. Nicely done.
TNLNSL returned as found. TFTC

Sneaky hide, required 4 geo adults and one geokid to find this one. Eventually found by another cacher (sorry we missed your name) with a moment of "derrr, I looked there". Completed on the way home after the Intervening Days event. TFTC
Passing through for the event while on the way to Warrnambool, so will take the opportuity to grab a cache or 2. While lunch was cooking, we wandered over to make this sneaky little hide.
Thanks The 2 Wanderers for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

27/12/2015 15:41 A tricky hide that I have seen before but due to its location and hide style I missed it this time. However Whitepaws9 came up with the goods and therefore 3 teams got to sign the log. Caching in groups is ALWAYS more successful than alone. TFTC The 2 Wanderers TNLN SL

A trip to Melton to attend Intervening Days V111 Event. Once that was over it was time to do some caching before heading home.
Well this was our last find in Melton for the day before heading home. Mr tyred n Cranky had heard some people talking about this one at the event - well he thought it was this one, he wasn't too sure. We looked where he described and soon it was located. These type of hides are getting to be very popular and we are seeing more and more of them.

Quite a surprise cache ! Found it after the nearby Intervening Days VIII event. We headed out for some lunch with Woody the Geodog. We hadn't looked for caches around here, so we were surprised by some suspicious cacher like activity, and upon approaching we were handed the cache ! Signed the log, and it was on our way for a tasty lunch. TFTC
After attending the INTERVENING DAYS event, we were hoping to find this one to fill another square on our DT chart :c) A tricky little hide, one which we almost gave up on. When it finally revealed itself... it was a "doh" moment! We have found a few of these hides :c) TFTC The 2 Wanderers!!

Found with Tyred n Cranky
After attending INTERVENING DAYS event and had found the caches around the Killarney Lakes we were heading for home, but a couple of stops were in order.
Mr Tyred n Cranky had heard about this hide at an event somewhere. so after a bit of a memory jog and connecting the dots, we soon had a great little find.

As I was replacing it, along came Imapom and then Tr! I was really hoping to watch the fun as they looked for it. I'd been here 3 times before, but with a bit of inside information, knew exactly where to look today. Thanks to the2Wanderers. I now have one less green box in Melton.
Good location and hide, I love to learn about the history of these buildings
With out caching I would just drive by with out looking at them,
Thanks. 2 Wanderers.

I even had a heads up on this one and searched with other cachers but had to give up . So its one of those I know its there but I can't find it , so I'm Guilty of a Dnf . Tfth .
After attending the intervening event I was wanting to stretch the legs. It always good to check out different areas and having done the walk along the creek, Mr X picked me up to check out some drive byes in the area. While he parked the beast nearby and made the quick find. I really like this container, I have seen quite a few of them so it makes it easier. Thanks for the cache The 2 Wanderers.
Gave up after 20 minutes seems co/ords are out from reading other logs and hint makes no sense (no table and chairs) and seems pointless going in and asking as then it's not really a D4. Tfth anyway
The cache has been replaced today. So all is good to go again. This cache may be a little harder to retrieve now with the table and chairs that are now positioned in the corner. The cache is not in the corner where the tables are. Happy hunting guys and buy all means go in and check out what's inside the Old Court House.
Building work is finished for the moment. Will do my best to get the cache back in place in the next couple of days.
This cache is still in an area where renovations are being carried out. I have been informed that all going well renovations are hoping to be completed by the end of October. Watch this space for the next update. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Maintenance is still happening on the building with security fencing around the area. Will keep you informed of the progress.
Unfortunately cachers I am having to disable this cache temporarily for a while while building works are happening. I enabled it last week as nothing was happening and today we went down the street and it's been fenced off to start the works, so as soon as it's finished I'll let you know.
I have put this cache back as nothing is happening with renovations at the moment. The cache is back in its spot and ready to be found again.
Please note that this cache is temporary disabled due to renovations going on at the building where this cache is. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but it will be put back as soon as we know what it happening.
this was first ever attempt at Geocaching - I was close to the area, but originally couldn't find it, the ladies at the information centre were extremely lovely, and helped.. after playing coy initially.. was a fun first attempt
Grrr. I found one of these before. They are very tricky. They will make you second guess your self. TFTC. I found it on my second try under 5 minutes. Thanks again.
I went down and checked this one and it is still sitting in it hiding place with no problems.
Geocaching with charlotteburnside today!
Unfortunately we had no luck with this one, the GPS was sending us all over the place and we didn't have time to have a proper search around. Have read the reviews and know the GPS was definitely telling us the wrong area, hopefully next time we'll have some luck!
Thanks anyway!

We found this cache today at 5:05pm as number 14 of 23 on our Melton Intervening Days Tour. We had attempted this cache earlier in the day with a DNF. On talking to another caching team later in the day, they let us know that the co-ords are a few metres out and not near the fence corner as we were being pointed. With this extra info, we soon had the cache in hand this time around. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
Find no#5 on a nice day out in the area after attending the Intervening Days Event.
I actually found this cache as part of a group of Geelong adventurers back in June but failed to log online.
It was number seven for us and 12.30am, it was cold, co-ords were jumpy and it was not easy.
On my return, it was daylight, I was solo, everything was different.
But I made the discovery and signed again today.
Fantastic hide, great camo.

Cheers & T.F.T.C.

Out on a day/night of caching with Geordiefamily around Melton to add smileys to the map.
This was a very devious hid some distance from where the coords put me, if I hadn't seen one of theses caches before I would've struggled a lot more.

Couldn't stay inside on a day like this so out we went. Needed supplies from a certain pet supplies store and this was on the way. I think this was my fourth attempt and this time SUCCESS Devious devious devious and quite sneaky too! Favourite point from me - haven't seen this before. TNLN. TFTC

Today, suss came to Melton to catch up with a friend who happens to also be a cacher, Matilda's Tardis. So, after a delightful lunch in town, we set out to find a few hides. On this overcast day, our GPSr units refused to be helpful, so we searched for a little while until this well-hidden blighter was found.

Third stop on a small caching trip to and about Melton for geobuddy BJ to have a groom. Despite reading previous logs, following advice, circumnavigating the building a couple of times and looking in some nooks I missed last time, I STILL couldn't find it Couldn't even go inside for a clue because they were closed today! TFTH The 2 Wanderers
Did some owner maintenance on this today, still room on log and ready for more visitors.
On cache run to Melton with some of the Geelong cache crew. This one took a lot longer than we thought. After half a hour of searching and going through previous logs. We searched and searched and with a clue from a previous finder the cache was located approx 8 meters from the posted co-ords. A great location a lovely old building. TFTC
By now it is after midnight we spent far to long looking for this in the vicinity where gps put us only to find cache 8mts away in the other direction TFTC
Coords found around 8m away from listed coords, so search took quite a long time. Luckily no muggles. Tftc.
With a few hours to kill before the 3am flashmob event down in Geelong, we headed this way to convert a few green boxes into smiles =}
This one was not playing nice!!! GZ had us in the corner which was about 8mts out :/ we searched and searched and searched. Tried a PAF but they couldn't recall the cache. Read a few more logs then the one PHETLERN left helped us and the cache was quickly found =] see his log for an extra hint on location. Cool hide! TFTC

The GPS had me at the corner of the fence, after an extensive search I decided to ask inside for a hint. One of the local cachers was at the desk and she provided me with some helpful information that meant I soon had the cache in hand. It's always in one of the first spots you look but you never see it first time around lol. Nice hide.
Thanks for the cache.
