A great little spot and an awesome cave. We found the cash easily and it is in good condition. We left some new trinkets. Be cautious of bees in a log hollow at the cave entrance.
Awesome spot!!! Fun find too. Tftc left some new swappables inside and took the trackable for an adventure
Google maps was determined to lead me here via private quarry roads but I made it eventually. What a fascinating spot! Left tb. Now to pick my way back down the slope, I'm not as agile as I once was.
This was a DNF for me a couple of years ago. I knew it had been replaced so stopped off here while in the area today. The last time I was here there were no bees and no cache - today there were both Thankfully I explored the cave the last time I was here as today the bees were at head height in the tree on the way in - I saw them just in time to stop and back up. Attention back on the cache and was pleased to make a nice quick find just where I thought it would be last time Choice of replacement container gave me some angst though given the location and camo. All ok here today - great to put a smiley here. TFTC
Stopped to admire the cave. Was a hot one but reasonably shaded close to the cave. Thanks.
Back to redeem our DNF. Thanks K.B. for replacing so we could find, signed the log.
I’ve left a replacement as per a spoiler photo I got from a friend which matched exactly with the photo in the gallery from 2013 of two kids with the cache. Such an old cache must live on and more than 2 years of no successful visits is sad. Hope you don’t mind. I used the same rocks to conceal it as were used originally. Hopefully some other caches visit this nice area soon.
No bees... but sadly no cache either! Had a good look around but nothing found. Loved the location though.
Time has come to clear this cache! So close but undiscovered and what a find. Lime kiln and caves all amazing. Megawat60 made the find while I was further down. Thanks for this cache and bringing us here BlackRat, a FP!
Out ‘n about with m4yb getting a few caches.
Not sure why we have taken so long to find this one but what a greAt discovery.
Thanks for the hide and BlackRat1414 & Captain Cave Man.

Thanks for the hide and BlackRat1414 & Captain Cave Man.
Said hello to mr ranger man, survived the bees, but still picking off the colony of ants thanks for the cache and bringing us out to this spot I didn't know existed before today
Well I thoroughly enjoyed the little walk to this one. A very interesting location, fascinating history. TFTC BlackRat & Captain Cave Man
We headed out today to do a mass assault on the caches in this area, happy to say we had a nice quick find here today, what a great bit of history TFTC
A huge day caching North of the river on our way to Megawat60’s event “welcome to the northern beaches” in Yanchep.
Teamed up with Cravo10 and OOH YEH and with an early start to grab some FTFs and cache out all of the green dots that have eluded us for some time north of the river.
Had a great morning out and thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ lunch at the event and a quick dash for a large group FTF near the event.
Thanks for a great day out, just need another excuse to get back here - more caches and another event.
Thanks to the local COs for some good fun.

Headed up to Yanchep for an event but decided to leave super early and team up with Barnzy12 and cravo10 to find a pile of caches on the way and clean up some more in the Yanchep area. We managed to find all that we were looking for and also nab 5 FTFS. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches
Amazing what I can find in my ‘backyard’, great spot. Took a TB & left my own path tag
Never would have known about this place without learning about it here. Weather was terrible after Ex Cyclone Joyce made its way down to Perth from the north west but we braved it and found the spot relatively easily. Took a travel bug and placed another which just so happens, came from another cave. TFTC
We were thwarted by bees guarding the entrance and bailed after being stung on the lip (not fun) will return to find it when the bees calm down a bit. Fascinating place
Thanks for bring us here. Bees are still protecting the cave entrance. Nice cache and in good order.
Interesting place, a lot of history. An easy find as the coordinates are spot on and the container is of a nice size! Thank you for the hide and for taking me there Blackrat1414, I would have completely missed visiting this spot without a cache there.
Hoping to complete the WA Public Holiday Cache Find Challenge (GC4EJD8) this year, I had to find one on Christmas Day. I'd had Christmas lunch with ask277's family so in the afternoon he and Zel came with me to find this cache (this was one of ask277's first finds 2.5 years ago). After steering me away from the hive of bees (I hadn't looked at the previous log!), I rerouted slightly and found the cache. TFTC, Blackrat1414
Beware of bees I had the most traumatising experience with a bee and it stung me and I cried. But I found it!!!
Thank you! I headed up to Cervantes for the weekend, for some sightseeing and a cache or two.
On the drive up I looked for caches on the west side of the road, and on the way back, caches on the east side. I was almost home but decided I had to get just one more, and this fit the bill. I parked on a side road north of GZ, and walked along the track. I noted the sign mentioning that the area was of cultural importance to the local Aboriginal people, but some detail why would have been interesting, rather than just detail of penalties applicable if you remove anything. Anyway, cache was soon found once at the correct level. Took TB. The kilns were also interesting, and quite well built.

Geobaby was not impressed with the bumpy ride as mummy forgot his carrier but the cache was soon to hand

Decided to take the kids on a geocaching expedition this morning focusing on the couple of cave caches up Yanchep way.
This was our fourth stop. Luckily the rain abated for the walk out and back before the heavens opened up again. Great place for a cache ... I've had this and the other nearby Dougach Cave cache on my list of things to do for years, glad to finally get around to it. Fav point awarded. TFTC ...oh and TB dropped off.

Happy Australia Day!!
Made the drive out this way in search of this cache. Its been on our radar for quite sometime! The GPS got a little confused, so on went the thinking caps! Soon enough Minergal & I were signing the log. TFTC

Took a while for the GPS to settle, but once it did, we were right on the cache. Didn't venture too far into the cave, however it was a lot cooler in there and provided some respite from the heat of the day. The bee hive is still in the tree trunk leaning on the walls surrounding the entrance to the cave, but fortunately they didn't bother us. Glad the cache wasn't too close to it. Thankyou for taking the Fabulous Panda and I to this area and TFTC
I found it. I left my mark. I replaced it and I left. TFTC. There was a lot of creatures in that cache ! The cave looked inviting but since I was alone I decided to look from the outside. Very interesting area. Thanks for bringing me here
TFTC! Fantastic area. Never knew this was here & almost missed it when we were driving. Saw the park sign in the last minute & turned the car around. Geo hubby CITO'd.
I went for a little wander through the cave, while thinking about earthquakes and collapsing tunnels.
Nice little bit of history, interesting area and off the track. TFTC good to see a nice size cache.

Attacked by bees - beat hasty retreat. Will return in cooler months when bees less active.
After seing a snake and being stung by a flying insect, I finally log this cache by this mysterious cave. TFTC
It never fails to amaze me how much great stuff you can find locally that you never knew existed and all thanks to geocaching. This a great place and can be seen from far away,as soon as you pull off Wanneroo Road and yet we've never noticed it. A simple find of an ample sized cache. Beware there are two bee hives in the tree leaning up against the cave. Not much trash about but we liberated the ancient aboriginal Red Bull can from the cave itself. Tftc Captain Cave Man and to Blackrat for continuing to maintain it
Cute toys dont feel experienced enougth to take travelling tags. Left necklace
Out for the daily cache fix. Took the kids to the orchestra shell. Quick scale of the wall with the kids cheering me on and the log was soon in hand.
Performed the duties while the kids rummaged through the swag.
They took the slinky and marbles, left the frogs and bouncy ball
Left tb also
Fav point for the location and swag

Out with Geology Boy and BlackRat to make full use of this awesome weather!
This was our first stop on the way up to the Lord Of The Rings series further North.
Black Rat had found this months ago but as I was driving he didn't get a vote! he he!
He was however happy to look as well and after 20 minutes of searching unsuccessfully IN the cave where he found it he contacted CO for more info. (very glad to have him here!)
After more searching a reply was had saying it wasn't in the cave but outside in obvious rock pile.
Grabbed the good sized container within seconds of new information. Thanks Captain Cave Man

Found @ 10:37!
Find #01 on a LOTR caching run with 'Amryall' and 'Blackrat1414'!
I was very interested in finding this cache so requested it get added to our list for today!
After searching around in the cave for some minutes, 'Blackrat1414' (who had found it previously) put in a call for help, which prompted us to search outside the cave...
Armed with this new information, 'Amryall' soon had the cache in hand!
I like caches that can show you history, geology, nice views and a bit of scrambling!
Watch out for the bees nest in the tree near the cave entrance...
TNLN TFTC!

Nice location....3km walk from home past lake Neerabup. Lovely, thanks cave man.
Beautiful day to be out caching. Enjoyed the walk and the interesting location. Had no problem locating the container with iluvtrtekking.
Second time lucky after the previous DNF, though why we didn't find it the first time I don't know. The hide was seen as we were walking up to it. Little bit of scrambling with the geokids and geomutt and the cache was found. TFTC.
Called around today after a couple of DNF's and found it safe and dry in the correct spot. You do need to do a bit of scrambling to find it and look for the rocks that are stacked a bit unnaturally.
Searched high and low, in and around the cave but were unable to find the cache. A nice area and somewhere I didn't know existed.
Could not find it. Took me, my 2 kids, my 3 neices/nephews and one brother in law out, enjoyed the location and walk but just couldnt find the cache. TFTH anyway!!
Found this one on my way home from visiting rellies further north for easter, only making a slight detour to grab this one. Took a few ups and downs, round and rounds, but once at gz, was found relatively quickly. Thanks for bringing me here Captain Cave Man
Came up to Yanchep National Park with the geodaughters who attended their friends wedding at the park. On the way home we did some 'caving', great spot, this to me is what geocaching is all about.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Awesome cache. The kids had a ball climbing then sitting a ledge sifting through toys. Tftc
Great spot we didn't knew existed! Very interesting, thanks for bringing us here! Took mummy, monster, left snake, scorpian and clapper. SL TFTC!
Happy new year! Nice historical spot. Unfortunately the council have installed a gate so no longer possible to drive up to the cache site however their is a pedestrian gate so you can complete the last 130 metres or so on foot. TFTC.
Wow [^] [^] very interesting about history - worth to visit and took 2 x TBs, signed the log. Thanks Captain Cave Man. [^] [^]
Check maintenance check - all is well. Also dropped off a couple of TB's including our first one that needs to get to Utah in USA.
I have read of the existence of this cave and in fact looked for it about 25 years ago! My search was in an area of bush way to the east of it's actual location. Thanks for enabling me to find it. Just a word of caution: those who like me are not so nimble need to take care, a fall could be very nasty, nevertheless and interesting find TFTH
Interesting area.
I should've known better with my knees. Up easy, down not so good. Tftc
