This one has gone walkabout again so I am afraid that it is apparently a target for muggles. Will have to research another area to find new location. Happy 2014.
Out and about on a half days caching with my 4yo Natasha. About 14 and a DNF for the day, but how's this, 12 of the 14 were Nottinghamers cachers, awesome stuff. Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches.

The poor tree doesn't resemble a pine any more as it is dead. I think that the little cache may be happier on one of the other little pines! Thanks Nottinghamers.
Out and about before work
After a short walk this one was a quick find..only because I had seen one of these online.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
A quick run over to the GZ hoping the power lines don't mess with the GPS. Nope all good and a quick spot by Sal and the log is signed and we are on our way. Thanks again for the cache Nottinghamers !!
I parked out on the road under the power lines and followed a faint path up the hill. Found myself at GZ in no time. I little search and soon had cache in hand. I found one of these while looking for another cache a few weeks ago and thought it might come in handy for a hide so I took it home. Good to see it works well.
Thanks for the cache Nottinghammers

I know why the container went missing before,it probably crawled away.Nice cache TFTC.Nottinghamers.
GeoKid1 & Mr GK are grabbing a few caches after a day on the coast.
First time we've found a container like this so it gets a favourite from us. TNLNSL.

I have replaced the container so hopefully it will provide more fun for those on the search. Happy caching!
Seems like the container has disappeared. I will endeavour to replace with a similar one asap.
Ahhh oui, nous avons trouve la cache!
However we first found it's original home and no one was home. Thinking that this one had fallen victim to une oiseau! we looked a little further away then Mrs H spotted it uphill from its proper location. Log duly signed and returned to the proper spot.
Another great hide NH's. TFTC.

After wandering up the hill I was soon at GZ. After circling around I found the little fellow still sitting safely in his home. Thanks for the cache.
I had planned to do this one earlier today, but a guy with a whipper snipper was busy at work so I'm grabbing it on the way home. I walked up to find my 16th cache for today. I got to gz and looked around for a little bit then realised that I had looked at it twice already. despite seeing a similar one already today I still dismissed it.
Thank you so much Nottinghamers for the tour you took me on today. I had a blast and cant wait to keep going around the area. I smile now whenever I see your name as CO, wondering where it will take me and what I will find.

Spent a good park of day caching while heading for the Hinze dam with dimorgan.
Amazing the amount of hidden places and parks in this area.
Drove up the slope to get closer. Very novel cache.

Spent a morning caching in the Nerang To Hinze Dam region, accompaning us was Tawhai Team.
Took a bit of 4x4 driving so didn't have to walk to the cache.
We though this was a very clever hide . Favourite point given
Thanks Nottinghamers

Hahaha very nicely hidden. Had me stumped for a bit. Couldn't get the log out to sign but found it none the less. Amazing work. TFTC
We had to come down south today to pick our son's latest purchase on Gumtree an X Box and we had some time to spare before we had to be back up home for an appointment so we just had to fit in a few caches.
We headed straight here after Pipe-Line Park and parked as close as we could so we had plenty of time for a nice stroll to GZ.
At GZ after a quick scan of the area I spotted the very classy camo and I had the cache in hand.
This is a fantastic camo, well done!
Thanks Nottinghamers TFTC SL Favorite point coming your way for this one.

Having suffered an injury on a climb to a cache back in March my knee is still a bit tender so when Mr Gap decided we should park 'here' and walk up 'there' I said NO WAY so he had to navigate another way to more level ground
We made our way to GZ and would you know it there was the clever little hide
nice one TFTC

We were on our way to this one, when I spotted a likely entrance.... Ms Wig took one look and said no way.... so we continued to the other one, it it turned out to be a nice gentle stroll to GZ.
A quick find, then spent some time marvelling at the design.
Nice work, another favourite from me Nottinghamers.

Nice quick find. Also managed to find what we think was a lizard egg - probably not. TFTC. SL.

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
We soon arrived at GZ with Captain Terror today, and after a quick search, we soon spotted the little bugger A nice little cache indeed!

Gaz'n'Kab
En route to this cache with Gaz'n'Kab and Kab was perplexed by the hint. Thankfully I had my intelligence mask on today and a quick international affairs lesson later had us all on the same page. We parked at the bottom of the hill and made our way up. I felt the burn here after an early start and a hike earlier today. But no muggles as we arrived and the GPS's agreeing, we commenced the hunt. We all missed it on the first pass, but I then spotted it from another angle. Added our names to the log and a great hide again, TFTC Nottinghamers
# 481 Todays Caching was completely focused on collecting the two XoE caches down this way. I down loaded the pod casts and collected the required info but was concerned that they were gone due to the lack of finds over recent time. Contacted Herbz who confirmed my co-ords and assured me that they would still be there. I did the Upper Coomera Road ones the other night, so started with this side on my way down.
Another quick find of an awesome cache container. Will be taking this cache design home with me to replicate in Townsville

Update: Local cacher has beaten me to it and has placed a cache similar to this.

Thanks Nottinghamers for the opportunity of getting a smilie on another one of your clever caches. We needed a cache for the calendar today and we headed out to this one. Not too big of a giant leap from home and one of very few still unfound by us in a decent radius. This was published the day after we left on holiday so we took the opportunity of coming out after dinner tonight. Had a bit of trouble finding it with the dim torch we had with us. Decided to PAF and as so often happens when you either give up and want to leave, or succumb to PAF, our call had barely begun when we spotted the little blighter. How did we miss it? We had a good idea what we'd be looking for so it wasn't that we didn't know what it would be. Anyway, we gladly added our signature to the new log and replaced the cache. TNLNSL.
I have replaced the log. My thanks to Fangsoki for treating the previous very wet log so delicately.
I saw the word "Pylon" and I shuddered. I had made an "eel" of myself at the other "Pylon" cache. I hoped I would have better luck this time.
I made my way to GZ - just as I arrived. Dogs either side started barking - and here comes an old mate with his shopping up the hill. *SIGH*. I moved away - one dog was taken away and shopping Old Mate was gone. I examined GZ carefully. Hmm nothing. I checked the hint. Isn't that a car Nissan brought out in the 1990s? But I knew what else it meant..
I found an attachment. Oh dear. I looked about. Ahh. There's the cache. The camo was in good condition - but unfortunately the log is very wet. It ripped it while I unrolled it I signed the log in keeping with the rules and re-rolled everything. I put the camo back in place.
I believe animals play a part in this cache's boggles. It might need some attention in the log department at least. I did like this one - so I will give it a favourite. TFTC Nottinghamers

An after work cache hunt and it was definitely dark when I arrived at the park.
I had some LED's built into my hat to help out but tried to be stealthly until I reached the spot. After a bit of a search with the LED the cache was found. (signing logs in the dark is assisted by a hat with LED's and you get less bugs in your mouth than using the "torch in mouth" method)
Thanks for the cache Nottinghammers. Love the camo.
That would be find number 1299, so no more cahing until the weekend and a trek to Pages Pinnacle for number 1300.
Cheers.

I'd better sneak my log in here before radnoski. I thought this one was just gorgeous. Easy to find, easy to watch for muggles (2 legs and 4 legs) and nice big open space to walk in if one is so inclined. Drove past "Waterbirds Delight" on way home and ...no waterbirds, practically no water either. Rather spoils the effect. Hope it's getting cleaned out soon. Anyway this little crustacean gets a favourite from me.

Thanks for the cache, it appears the magnet is not glued to the base properly and unfortunately I did not have any glue with me. Perhaps a visit from the owner with some glue would help

He he he. Now Aussie Liahona is en route to Hong Kong, UK, France, USA and anywhere else there are caches, maybe some of us locals will get the odd First to Find. We've got 5 weeks folks, let's use it.[^]
I have re-glued the magnets. Fingers crossed they remain so!. Happy cacheing.
