Need to check up on this one, but I am out of town until next week...so hopefully I will be able to set aside a day to replace my missing caches...
Think the cache has been "removed" as a result of renovations in the area around GZ.
Sadly we couldn't find this cache today. We looked on both sides & had no luck.
Nice quick find here. Just got the log signed and cache back in place before muggles approached. TFTC.
Wanted to get some caches in this area for a while and had an opportunity to today.

Such interesting history in this area. Made a quick find but unfortunately over enthusiastic winding meant the log disappeared. Didn't have appropriate tools to aid retrieval. Will need to be repaired. Sorry
Back to day for this one, having done the one further on a couple af days ago.
There were troops doing manourvers everwhere, some out inthe mud, some in the old bomb disposal area and others running up and down the road. Was worried for a moment that I would have to come back another day.
Thank fully cache was just out of site of them, and was a quick find. Then drove to end of road to see where it went and if i could get out that way, and not have to return slowly back, navigating around the troops. Well the road doesn't quite go through yet, but being in a 4WD Caching wagon, I snuck across a short strip that will eventually be housing and eventually found my way back to Squadron drive. TFTC.

As I usually do, I searched the wrong side of the wall first, but within minutes corrected my error and the cache was clearly visible. I'm surprised it hasn't been muggled into the muggledom cache graveyard, like my own much less obvious cache "Bomb Point View" that I had just replaced. Such a delight to sign a really innovative log sheet.
A very nice find while in the area.
Really enjoying the great weather as well.
Soon located this cache. SL TFTC

Really cool logbook, the cache was quickly located since it's out in the open, TFTC
Littlefella loves this spot...last time here we were lucky enough to find a bullet. All been dug out and scraped away now. Great log!cheers.
Parked on the "new" road and walked along the "old" road to GZ. A nice quick find and an interesting log holder. TFTC
Looked everywhere!!!! And then looked again! So obvious when u actually see it, d'oh! Nice cache.
Decided to find a cache during my break, brilliant cache, Im surrpised i have never seen this as i walk past
We needed to find a cache for our personal daily find challenge so we headed out to find this one after watching the new James Bond movie in Albany. The well themed cache container was soon located and after completing the log we thought we would continue on and take a short cut back to the motorway. After a "little off roading" we found ourselves in a maze of new streets which were all blocked off at some point. The resident guard dog was quite interested in our visit so we gave up on the short cut idea and retreated back to find our "off road" entry point so we could return back through the base. On the way we spotted one house covered in Christmas lights so we took a detour to have a look and then finally made our way out. A great little adventure to end the night TFTC.
It was quite strange coming back to this spot, as I had been here before many many years ago. This is where I first learned to fire a .303 at a target at this very firing range. It was something to do with a college outing training to be in the air force or something like that. Judging by all the holes in the concrete walls there must have been some pretty wild shots when it was in use too. However the cache was quickly found and the log signed. I liked the unique log paper too.
Almost makes me want throw away the digital cam and go back to good ol film!!
[Well maybe not quite]

Our first cache in awhile and our last chance to grab some before heading on fieldwork. The cache wasn't too hard to find, loved the logbook. TFTC!

A clever little hide that took a moment to locate (well Miss G and Mr G rushed straight passed it). An interesting site to wander around.
Looks like a pixie caramel sort of a place????
(Remember that ad?)

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Headed out to Hobsonville this morning to pick up a few new caches. Last time we were out this way, the road was closed so we were expecting to have to walk to the cache, but we were surprised that we could drive more or less right up to it. Spotted this one straight away and signed the cool log sheet. TFTC!

It is time to visit those unfounds in the Hobsonville to Te Atatu area this morning. It took me a little while to spot this one until I was coming back around again.
Cheers for the cache.

The camo was no less than we expected. Wonder how long it will be til all this area is "developed". TFTC
Took our time finding this one as we were enjoying being able to explore the old buildings. Glad I got to see all this before they started pulling down them all down. Has been a while since I've been down here, so a good excuse to come back and find a cache or 2. Took the long way around to get to this one, approaching from the wrong side, but once around the corner, a very nicely done cache was soon spotted. TFTC!
Started making our way back towards where we'd come from and after giving the nice security man a friendly wave as he drove past, we went looking for the cache while he told a bunch of kids off for lighting fireworks nearby. While they were all busy we could sniff out the cache nice and quickly, no issues with the find and a pretty sweet container. TFTC
Was surprised at how much development has gone on here, guess you don't see it as much with the new motorway open, and also surprised to be able to drive to the cache site. Would have been an interesting spot for a cache a couple of years ago!

I worked for the Agfa processing centre in Mt Albert in the early '70's. In those days film was sent from pharmacies etc to a central facility for process which is why it took 2 or 3 days. I was involved in the C41 side of things, so I am very familiar with the cache container etc. Used to see lots of interesting, strange and weird and wonderful photos coming through!! Thanks.
Great find on labour day.

All deserted around GZ this morning. Just as well as it took a wee while to find. Spent time looking in all the wrong places. I really liked the log. TFTC.
Turns out you can drive to these during the day now . Decided to come and take a look during lunch time, although it was a long shot for them to still be unfound. First to log here but not FTF... Nice hide - parked nearby and went straight to it. With the tide in, it's quite nice around here too. TFTC!!!

Once we manage to get the baby's hat, we made our way to this one enjoying the little walk on the grass. Another quick find and we decided to go back home after this. Nice little area here.
