Im pretty sure this one is missing. We confirmed we were at the correct spot by referring to the spoiler photos, but alas the suspicious rock and its hidden treasure were gone.

23-Mar-14
Tried to get to replace this one today but the freeway was so closed so had a change of plans. Am busy with other caches so am not prepared to keep replacing this cache. Hopefully someone else will showcase this lovely area with some caches.

11-Dec-13
After a few minutes of looking in the wrong places, I zeroed in in this one. Found while at AlliedOz's 11-12-13-14-15 event. An enjoyable event it was too. Spotted you in the crowd KB, but didn't get a chance to say g'day. Signed the log. Thanks for the cache.

11-Dec-13
Today, we set ourselves a challenge - to see how many 'types' of caches that we could find, in 1 day.
We took a pleasant stroll along the fore shore, to locate the well hidden and camouflaged cache.
Many thanks for the hunt today, .K.B..

11-Dec-13
I could not resist this nearby KB cache while attending the 11-12-13 @ 14:15.

05-Nov-13
Down to the foreshore today to mark a spot for the up and coming 11-12-13 event, this cache was a short walk away so it seemed almost criminal not to grab it now Wink

Greeted by a fresh new log.

Searched for maybe 15 minutes but without success.

Coordinates changed from:
S 31° 58.402 E 115° 52.118

Coordinates changed to:
S 31° 58.402 E 115° 52.123

Distance from original: 26 feet or 7.9 meters.
Recent logs suggest the cache had moved further west than intended. Since the water often splashes over the wall, the cache has been relocated a little off the ground.

02-Nov-13
Had a good look here but no prize. Found a small plastic horse and magnetic 8. Did some gardening with the sheoak nettles Smile

24-Aug-13
Even to the 'east a few metres' didn't help. Gave it quite a good search between walkers

18-Aug-13
Took a bit of looking but finally found it. No trackbables though and not sure where they would've been kept. TFTC

18-Aug-13
Another cache site revisited, and this time got the thumbs up. Smile Love the walk along the river here, so don't mind at all coming back again.
Found it easy to search my GZ, as the previous finders had cleared out all the mulch from around the bases of the trees. Nothing there, so widened the ring, and found the little critter some meters east. The log was very damp and starting to crumble, possibly because there is no o ring.
Thanks for the cache K.B.

05-Aug-13
Not sure if we found the right one because there was no where to leave anything like mentioned in previous logs. Log was wet and may need replacing soon

I'm giving this one a favourite point. Not necessarily because it's an epic cache, although it is nice but mainly because it's the first "real" cache I've found out of the last 20 or so caches.

I appreciate it when somebody put's some thought and effort into placing a cache, makes it big enough to contain something and easy enough to find and has a good assisting description of it.

To me the entire point of Geocaching is to get my lazy ass outside and do something physical instead of sitting for hours staring at pixels on my monitor. Finding a pleasant little cache like this is a proper reward for your efforts. I enjoy finding these and I enjoy leaving a little contribution. It's inspiring enough to keep on going. I couldn't think of ANY other reason I'd bike all the way from East Perth to Safety Bay road, but Geocachign gave me that reason and that was an awesome day (108 finds Razz)

Nano caches on the other hand are the worst possible things, seeing a nano on your list is like seeing a dentist apponitment, you know you have to go and pay a visit but you know ahead of time it's not going to be a pleasant or rewardig experience. There's nothing to see and it's just a pain and a waste of time more often than not. I'm still new at this and I haven't found a hell of a lot but I HAVE put effort into going out and finding them and it's caches like this that make it worthwhile.

Unfortunately one stupid nano DNF counters about ten good finds.

So cheers KB.

I left a magnetic smiley face, took nothing.

Oh, needs new log too. I had paper but it got soaked so was no use Sad

Was starting to get withdrawal symptoms from not being able to get out caching for a few days (only have two weeks school holidays, and don't want to waste them with mundane things like gardening, housework, blah, blah, blah), so gave AmstradKid a call. Jazl enjoyed the walk out to this one, meeting lots of canine friends along the way. Quick find at gz. Took the tb. Thanks kbinuk2005

Found @ 18:42!

Find #3 today.

Walking by while waiting for sunset. Good views of the CBD from here!

Easy find, but got bitten by a fews mozzies while signing log. Better than falling in the river and getting stung by the huge number of jellyfish! I still have the scars from when I got stung at Whitehaven Beach a year ago almost to the day!
