As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Will be in Arrowtown in the next week or so and will be able to replace the cache (again) then. S, D & A.

It looks like our cache has gone missing again! We will try to replace it again soon.

We had a little look today, very wet and cold, but too many muggles about! We will be back to look again another day!

Tried to find in dark - no success

Spent a while searching but sadly was not to be found. My sister was with me this time and she has found it in the past.

Nope we couldn't find it either!

By the looks of the pics i was a tad high. So will have another try hopefully.

I am on a Grand Pacific Tour around your magnificent country by bus with 48 other folk of which none are cachers but that may change as a few showed some interest.
This site is on the itinerary for a stop so it was time to seek out a couple of caches.

We arrived here quite early expecting the town to be quiet...it was really but there was a major running/biking/triathlon event going on where you could choose the type of event you wanted to be in so that meant people were finishing all the time-interesting to see. Anyway the area around the cache was quiet so we found it easily. Thanks.

After parting ways from the final cacher from today's event I thought I would try my luck. At first nothing and thought maybe gps getting affected by buildings. Then as I wondered around I saw someone duck by GZ..... I had a bit of a joke with them and then discovered they had just returned the container. Nice couple from Auckland. Glad I timed it well so could change this blue to yellow face.

My first visit here, such a beautiful town. Quick find thanks to the clue and met another geocacher which was lovely.

See what you mean about a high muggle area. Dropped my bag upside down. That worked- picked up cache as well as my other stuff lol. TFTC

Travelling to Queenstown we came along this lovely village. We stopped for some sightseeing and during our visit we found three caches. This was the second one, not difficult to find. Thanks for hiding.

On our last day in NZ, we spent a couple of hours in Arrowtown before heading for the airport. The hint was very helpful for this one - thanks for putting it out.

We visited shortly the goldminers settlement area and walked from there to this cache.

In New Zealand on a 2 week holiday with sedgwickDave. Today we had many fun adventures in Queenstown and took a detour to Arrowtown on the way back to Cromwell. Enjoyed the stop over in this historic little town where we had some delicious ice cream before finding this cache rather quickly.

Fourth find of the day!

We were out today finding caches from Queenstown to Arrowtown. This was the fourth cache we found. After finding the best route to the cache, we parked the car nearby and headed off to GZ. We soon arrived in the vicinity and began our search. Not over here, not in there before...... There it is!

I stealthily retrieved the cache, signed the logbook and replaced it as I had found it. Nice hide!

Cache and contents were in good condition and coordinates were accurate.

bumped into another geocacher as he spotted my son walking with a gps. TFTC

Still keeping my streak of finding a geocache in every place we visit. We'd ridden our bikes into Arrowtown, done the sights, and blow me down if there's not this cache where we tethered our bikes. Spied the afore mentioned young fellow charging around with GPSr in hand oblivious to all but the compass needle. He had actually pulled out the cache as I was coming to it from the path. TFTC

Picked up whilst the kids were munching on lollies. TFTC.

Short visit to the museum. Nice place at all.

Found the cache without getting a second look from the masses of muggles, took a photo with my kids.

Picked up cache while waiting for our Thai food

Found it but we forgot a pen unfortunately.

The cache was in plain sight with the lid off, surrounded by large numbers of tourists. After signing we covered it up a bit.

Bought for the first time a 'fudge' at the local sweetstore. Good excuse to sit on the grass and enjoy.
And... of course to have an easy unsuspicions grab for this cache.

Muggles were standing nearby eating icecream and weren't budging, whilst one blocked the other picked up the cache

We made a short visit to Arowtown and found this cache in the center.

We are taking a 3 week vacation from the UK to tour around New Zealand. We are staying in Arrowtown for a few days so stopped by to collect this cache. Soon found this one on the lovely green.

Holidays in New Zealand! We have been looking forward to them for years. We had lots of time to prepare ourselves for a great trip. As geocachers, we also picked out a number of great caches. Armed with a "to-do list" and accidental encounters we were lucky to log many caches. Thank you for placing them and keeping the game go on!

Found after being dropped in arrow town to cycle back to queenstown. Vminky was looking around the posts whilst I was waiting with the bikes. It was me who made the find though!

Discover this small town by chance. The park is perfect to have lunch and an icecream! TFTC!

A huge amount of people round when I went on New Year's Eve. Managed to retrieve the cache discreetly! This was after having a delicious pie from the arrowtown bakery. Thanks to some of the logs here, I also hunted out a famous arrowtown sticky bun - highly recommended! TFTC!
