Had a good look around, but maybe autumn isn't the best time to be searching with all the leaf litter everywhere
Didn't find it sadly, looked for it for awhile, but, no luck, thinking the current floods took it.. ( 27th Oct, 2023.
Took awhile but we extended the search a bit. Got a good view of the feature. Thought it was rubbish when I first saw it but it rattled so I figured it must’ve been it and it was. TFTC
We decided that it was time to go on a day trip to Cowra to look for some of the new caches that had popped up in the area since we were last there. Texted Rapidlywild to see if she was interested in joining us on for the journey. It was a pretty cold day with the winds but thankfully no rain which was a bonus. No DNF's for us today which was a great and all caches were found pretty quickly and we managed to get all of the caches we targeted with a couple of labs thrown in for good measure.
Quick find at this one signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the hide wbforto and thanks for a good day out Rapidlywild.

The FFLL ladies had decided they wanted to go on a little tiki tour around Cowra and reached out with an invite, yes please It was a cold day however the rain held off and we were able to achieve our target area and managed to clean up again for a while. We completed 2 labs and a heap of trads and assorted caches which included an unexpected FTF.
A nice easy find here, signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the hides wbfoto And thanks to the FFLL ladies for a fun day out and about around Cowra [^].

This cache has been washed out from its hiding location due to the Lachlan River floods. Found with water inside and logbook wet. Signed with waterproof pen then tucked the container into the tree.
Thanks wbfoto for the placement.

In Eugowra for the NSW orienteering champs. After today's event I went for a drive to do some night caching. A quick find here thanks to the hint. TFTC.

We had to come and find this for a relative of Calypso62 so today was the day. We did search around for a bit, especially near somewhere that looked to make sense with the hint, to no avail. Seeing a log that mentioned a discrepancy we widened our search and hey presto cache in hand. Geoboyfriend wandered off to look at the nearby plaque while Calypso62 and I replaced the cache closer to the hint, and applied some extra camo. Hopefully this is ok. Thank you.

A quick find on a sightseeing tour around Cowra and the region today. This is a great town and I'm enjoying my time here.
My granddaughter's name is Meg so I had to find this cache.
Thanks for hiding this cache and adding to my geocaching adventures.

Grass was too long, saw a snake as driving up to it. Creater may need to come and check if it’s still there.
This was about 7m out on my god, and at the BOT, no mesh to be seen. Interesting spot tho!
A bit of unexpected history here today. Took a bit of looking but finally found by ‘D’. SL TNLN Thanks for this one.
It was though to find but me my brother and my best friend found it together witch made it less tough. You need long pants to get through the prickly plants. Also we learned about william James evens. It was also very fun.
Found after a short search, but absolutely love places like this with history! Thank you for bringing us here wbfoto! : )
12 Nov 2019 & 14 Nov 2019 Caching Trips
With these two days free, I decided on getting back into caching after a recent dry spell (apart from the event I attended on the 9 Nov). On the 12th, I headed for Cowra to start the caches out that way. I visited many monuments which some included: the World Peace Bell, Koorawatha Falls, Wynnefield Memorial and the one of the old Railway Bridges. Most caches were quick finds but a couple ended up with DNF’s or NA’s which was upsetting but hay… you can’t find all caches because you need things to do next time you’re in the area. There were many different types of hides and locations which made it a very enjoyable day out. On the 14th I headed down over the border into Victoria to hit the ‘S’ series trail which has been on the to-find-list for who knows how long now. I headed straight for the far end of the trail to start so I would finish at the closer side to the other caches on the list to find. This ended up being a solved Mystery cache finding day with a couple of Trads along the way. Also while I was in the area I couldn’t say no to visiting, the ‘Ettamogah Pub’ and ‘The Henty Man’. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring enjoyment to me and the rest of the caching community. TFTC’s

This cache is still there! The hint makes more sense when you jump the fence and look around. Also another great memorial to visit. TFTC and for bringing me here!

Travelling west to complete SES training it was decided a few caches would help with driver fatigue. TFTC
Last minute opportunity arose for a trip to Parkes to assist with an SES course this weekend and being a five-hour journey, it was sensible to take a break from driving every so often. What a coincidence there also seems to be a cache at appropriate intervals. Even on the right side of the fence eventually, the search still took a while due to “autumn camo”.

Tftc. Quick find today. Very interesting little wood with the headstones in there.
Found after an extensive search. Placed back in a spot that more accurately reflects the clue.
Found with Justjessie on a "History of", "Road less traveled" and all the other caches in between four day blitz. Had a great time and saw some awesome countryside. TFTC.

Fitzy_1965 and I headed back out to Cowra today to pick up his car after it broke down here on a caching mission last weekend. Geo-kids GSC2000 and Stardust2410 where with us and signed logs.
Last stop before starting our way back home. I was hoping for a quick find but after heading through the gate and stopping to pay my respects, hopes were soon dashed. Had two geo-kids helping us search and it still took us just over 20mins to make the find. fitzy found it quite buried. I think it is not in the right place but we returned it to where it was found and still fits the hint in a roundabout way.

14090. Found with minniek, GSC2000 and Stardust2410 during a short re-visit to Cowra collecting my now repaired Geomobile !!
Time to collect my car, so off we went for the short and very familiar run up to Cowra where by chance we had some time for a couple more caches ! This was the next find for me for the day. I had DNF'd this one last year - which was frustrating after reading all the logs. Today it still took a while with all 4 of us searching until I uncovered the cache. Simple really ! Lol. Signed the log, returned the cache, and off we went to the next one.
Thanks wbfoto !!

TFTC. Geoson made a very quick find on this one. He had it in hand in under 2 minutes. Can't understand why there are so many dnf's on this one. Thought we would detour on our way home from Forbes and grab this out of the way cache.
Checked on this one. Still there after all this time. Cache and log all good and safe.
Came here with Sol de Lune, but despite looking for a very long time, we couldn't find this one. I think we may have just been unlucky - who would muggle a cache here! A very interesting area nearby though - I would have never known that this was here.
Beat us today....
Looked for a good 20 minutes before it was time to move on. No doubt will try again one day....
Thanks anyway wbfoto.....

After a morning spent in Cowra, waiting around for a new set of boots to be fitted to the geomobile, I set off to find a cache for the day
I am determined to break my record of 83 caching days
Here at Meggs Wood I wandered through the long grass in search of monuments and a cache
The cache was a bit harder to uncover [:o]
But after a fight with the siv foot high thistles, I worked me way around the tree to find the caches hiding place

Last fro the day and a two hour drive to get home. This seems quite an interesting corner. Some clearing seems to have taken place at some stage, but the cache is fine. Thanks.

Got to this one and was amused what we found while opening the gate. Saw a rabbit hop away and then found the cache. It started raining so quickly signed the cache. Tho will have to come back and see more that is there TFTC
TFTC Took TB will move on to new location in our travels.Have been passed here before and wondered about the head stones, great history now I know also left rubber.
FTF – I was planning my work trip and combined a few caches along the way so when I found this one last Sunday still waiting for a FTF for over 4 weeks, I thought that a minor detour between Forbes and Cowra needed to be factored in. I was not expecting this to still be a FTF now being Wednesday but sure enough opened the cache and found a blank log . It is nice to come across a location that has some interesting history also attached to it. I exchanged TB's thanks.
