Logs
Today we decided to take a journey out to Mosgeil and walk along the Silver stream walk way and then do the Labs and trads and some other multis in the area . We had a successful day on the hole and the highlight being invited into the C O's house for a cup of tea etc many thanks for that we took nothing and left nothing here at any of these caches in this area . thank you for these caches and the maintenance of them .
We had nearly reached the end of this beautiful walkway . Personally I prefer this kind of caching (on a walkway collecting caches) rather than park and grabs all day. The day was warm and sunny. A direct contrast to the atrocious weather we experienced over the weekend while attending the mega. Tftc.
All good here. Out with gdkja for a few caches before heading home after Mega. Tftc
Team SEAC consisting of HeMaLuDy, Stik-a-crane, UncleSam, Keylev and ourselves headed to Dunedin for the 2024 MEGA!All logs were signed as SEAC to save paper (except where specific signing requirements were requested)Thanks to all the CO's who had maintained the caches as we found a majority with fresh paper and containers!TFTC
After completing the aeroplane series it was time to branch out and find some others 'on the way' into Dunedin. Thanks for the cache. Signed as Team SEAC (South East Auckland Crew)
We are in Dunedin this weekend for the Mega with Stik-a-Crane, UncleSam, KeyLev, and NZTravellers. We have signed all logs as team SEAC to save space, especially as we know this weekend will be busy for all caches. We have landed, picked up the cars and the plane geoart and any other trads, multis, or puzzles we have solved are the targets for the day. We have had an amazing time and had very few DNF's for a very successful day with lots of laughs and memories made. Took a moment as the correct side to search from was chosen. TFTC
Arrived today from the Northern Island to attend Geo Toroa (Mega), as a group consisting of myself, HeMaLuDy, UncleSamNZ, keylev, NZ Travellers, and of course it would be rude to not locate caches as we left the airport heading into our accommodation in Dunedin.Signed in as SEAC to save logbook space and on our way to the next hide.TFTC.
Here for a fun weekend with friends from Auckland to attend the 2024 Mega. All logs signed SEAC as a group. Very sorry for the generic plain logs. Thanks to all cache owners for placing the caches.
Down here for the Dunedin Geo Toroa Event from the sunny Bay of Plenty,Tauranga and are with some of Team BoP. Great to get together with our fellow cachers. Signed Logs MDF. (McJandals,Davidson clan & NZ Flossy)I am logging using the Cachly App and using their template option which helps with my memory for logging. I genuinely thank every CO for their time and effort put into these caches. Much appreciated.
Down in Dunedin for the Mega this weekend with McJandals and NZFLOSSY. Signed the log sheet MDF Thanks for the cache.
Down in Dunedin for the Mega event. Travelling with Davidsonclan and McJandals. Really fun to be out and about with the team and catching up with other cachers friends m everywhere. Thanks to all the organisers and all the COs for some great caches. It is certainly a lovely area of New Zealand TFTC
Had a good scrounge around where I was certain it was. Even found a spot that looked like it should be it, but no cache.
It was raining on Otago Harbour so we drove over the hill for a walk beside the Silverstream and a peruse of the Little Lilliput libraries. The weather is completely different over here - even blue sky . TFTC
Today was the first time MrMagoo72 and I have been along this path. A bit whiffy at the start of the track (glad I don't live there!) but by the time we reached this spot, things smelled better. A well-used track. Soon found the cache and signed the log. Looks like Americans signed the logbook before us, starting the date with the month. TFTC.
Second time here as many Mollywood caches have problems, saving this closer saturation area over the hills from the residence cleaning out a zone. A noice day to walk this cache down after it had been previously replaced by a local caretaker. Cache found in the first place searched after having checked all the empty places last time. Berocca tube with bagged RITR log page with several signatures on it already, those who bring pens that is. It's not just about pressing send on the phone. Returned cache to the hide as found with the lettering side up so its not muggled as trash next time. Plenty of non-followers are aware of the game, there's just an element of busybodies who interfere with caches, plenty of rubbish on the walk way get overlooked. Still shallow along the Silverstream, some day we'll wade downstream from here checking on the river water; there's little chance of reaching the riverbanks, too much blackberry and it hadn't got deeper until we got to Cabbage tree. *2nd Favorite Fan! Heart challenge **10pt 11th** trad **120pt***. TFTC
I spent the whole day here today and found a lot of interesting caches.Greetings from the Czech Republic and Thanks For This Cache.

This cache went missing following a tidy up of the bank in the vicinity. We have replaced it today with a Berocca tube.
As the AO tennis had finished I was a little lost for something to do after dinner so I assembled my bike and went for an evening cyclocache ride before it got dark. There were this small series of caches along Silverstream so they formed an obvious target. Qick find, once the evening muggles had walked past. TFTC.
It wasn't in the area. It was supposed to be in. Maybe the owner could check it
Glad to get thus one even if I was shivering in the cold wind waiting for dog walkers to go by. Was a building site last time I was here. Building the storm drain I think.
Thanks drawp for another cache. Pleased to pick another smile and some points for the latest challenge. The bridge is very fancy for bikers or walkers but the drop down and back up not so flash for a normal town car.
Cache 733 On an Impromptu caching trip with Wombats4 we decided a day trip to Mosgiel was the go so up we got in the frosty morning and made the trip up from Invercargill, it took a little while for the warm to come but Mosgiel put on perfect weather for us.
Another cache Wombats had grabbed previously, but I still needed to get, this was a nice quick easy find, cache was out in open so I covered it with objects right at GZ so muggles won’t spot it. Cache in good condition T4TC

After an overnight stay at the Brighton Domain catching up with fellow travellers, off on a trip back to caching around Mosgiel and along the way.
Walking the walkway, with the pup having a good run, this was a quick find, cache all good here tftc

The 15th find for today and we have hardly made a dent in the caches in this area. Never mind, another smiley on the map. tftc
