Travelling from Melbourne to the Bony Mountain Music Festival, near Warwick, Qld, we picked up some caches. This was one of them. tftc.
It would seem that this cache has been replaced from the original. Not magnetic anymore but still in the same place so co-ordinates are correct. Thanks to whoever replaced it.
TFTC A very quick stop on opposite side of road, so to have a coffee break, and of course as there is a cache, must get a smiley face while here
**# 14286** Found on our 2016 winter escape trek.
Another typical Qld winter day for a drive westward.
As this has been missing for a while and the CO is inactive,
I contacted the owner to ask if I could assist with a replacement.
**I have now placed a new cache where it looks like it belongs.**
Thanks for the cache Team Vertigo91,

Called and looked on all the small metal spots & the Ground - No Luck for Mrs.K. and myself with this 15 minute search, either we didn't look in the right spot or it isn't there .
We were travelling back home after spending the long weekend at Warialda and we thought that we might grab some caches when the opportunity arose.
This cache came up on the radar at a suitable rest stop, so we decided that we should try to find it.
We were heading East, therefore we had parked on the opposite side of the road and after waiting for what seemed like ages to cross the road we were in the rest area for West bound traffic.
We followed the arrow to GZ however there was a truck parked right there. We thought that we may seem a bit suspicious if we started looking but fortunately enough, the truck moved off after we had enough time to read the history board.
After a short time the cache was in hand, the log signed and the cache returned as found.
All is in order with this cache.
Find #299.

good timing needed a comfort stop about now. pity a few others did too. they were parked on the opp side of the road so was easy for me to get the cache, replace with a new log and put back without them any the wiser. tftc Team Vertigo91

Found today on the way through to the GC! Found by eagle eyed Geodaughter. Found a small space to sign and replaced. This size cache can be tricky, but only 5mins or so to find today. V old sign. TFTC
A quick find on our way back from Victoria. The log book is full and needs replacing. TFTC
Scrabbled about for it in the meagre light of a tiny, tiny torch and somehow found it! TFTC
Pprime does MEGA! Loving my days seeing all nooks and crannys of this wonderful area.
Thanks for placing this cache, Team Vertigo91. Found in good condition.

We had fun out and about , and managed to find your cache.
Bring on Qld Mega, not long now. Woo Hoo.

Found while staying a little further up the road for a Christmas Party. Only just realized I had not logged it.
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the "land down under."
The sign looked like it was from 1827, ha! Very Cool!
Thanks for the fun Team Vertigo91!

On our way home from victoria we stopped by for this one, there was a couple of truck muggles but they were all sleeping. A quick pickup and we were on our way. TFTC
We were lucky to have the area to ourselves today. A nice quick find, signed log and returned. TFTC
Luck last for me today and after a quick search behind a big trucking came up with the hide letting me sign the log and returning back to its hide. TFTC Team Vertigo91
Nice quick find. Think i need more practice rolling those logs though - quite fiddly. Tftc!
Hi there Team Vertigo91. We found your cache "1827" at 11:09:00 AM today.
This was our 5th cache find in a caching run of 5 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9461.)
[Blue]
Today's cache run was to add to our current streak of "Most Consecutive Days" cached. With this cache the total now stands at 217 Days.
Normally we don't attempt nano caches, as we believe that their usage has become far too common these days, and many are placed in spots (such as this) where a really decent container could have been hidden. Doesn't anyone want to place large, kid friendly caches any more. [?]
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

after telling the trucky to come on we did a quite left turn int the parking area followed by the next truck.
parked right next to GZ , I was looking for our nano replacement logs while Ratdog made the easy find. Amazing the log was new just been replaced it seemed today (was that you across the road?), lucky as I didn't find ours then as I stopped looking.
Interesting and a really nice day was shaping up for us.

Put a new log in the cache but it is only about half the length of the usual bought logs. Good for quite a few signatures though.
It's a shame that Aussie History is allowed to be forgotten when signs like this fall into disrepair. Surely coming up to the 200th anniversary, something might be done to improve this marker. A very quick find. TFTC
Moving house from Brisbane to Tasmania. All packed and now in the car on the way south so what else to do but break the trip by caching. Good place to stop and quick find but as with many previous loggers almost impossible to sign log. CO really must do something urgently - too good to lose it.

Found quickly, but the log if totally full. We just managed to find a place to get our initials on it. The paper also isn't in the best shape - time for a replacement. Thanks Team Vertigo91.
Nice leg stretcher ,good hide BUT log is FULL FULL FULL.Semi driver asleep right next to it tftc
Imagine setting out to explore this land from this site. Wow, we travel across the country so quickly and we navigate so efficiently thanks to our GPSrs. The cache was soon in hand and like all microcaches in popular spots the log slip was full. Thanks for giving me an excuse to stop here and ponder upon the explorers and pioneers of the past.
Found with Tassiegirl13 while on on our way back to Brisbane.
We missed this one a few weeks before when we were heading south due to a couple of truck drivers having a good old chat at GZ.
Today the parking area was empty so we easily made the find and added our names to the log.
TFTC.

On road trip to central west NSW and this is my first for the day. Historical spot that was deserted when I looked for it but 2 lots of muggles when I went to put it back. TFTC.
Just visited the cache today and log was full. Also when I was rolling it back up the paper broke a couple of times. Sorry.
Today I start to long drive to OZ MEGA at Murray Bridge.
By the time I got here I had been driving for several hours so needed a stop.
A quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

On a lonely drive home from Inglewood, i pause here to catch my breath stretch my legs and find a cache. Nice easy find on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. TFTC!
Found on the first day of a long drive home back to Adelaide after attending a conference at O'Reilly's. Thanks for the cache Team Vertigo91!
The cache maker and I are on our way home after our holidays, and are finding some caches along the way
thanks for the cache
thanks for the cache
Yay! First cache on the Clifford Family Winter Tour!! Family of shorties, so I had to lift a kid up to get it. Awesome cache!
Found at 1410 with Marg. Marg found this one but I had to grab it. Nice rest area with a bit of interest. TFTC.
Well this turned out to be a fun cache find
As I drove along the Cunningham Highway, westbound a lot of drivers heading the other way were intent of flashing their headlights at me
Why people insist of warning speeding or drunk drivers of a police presence further up the road is beyond me !!
I want those idiots taken off the road before they kill me or somebody else !! [:o]
Sure enough at GZ there was the RBT set up on the eastbound side
But over on the westbound side there was nobody and as long as the police were occupied, I could search GZ to my hearts content
Good job they were busy, because it took me a good 15 minutes to discover the ruse !!
A great little cache [^]

We had to take a step back and look from a different angle and there it was in plain sight, don't we feel silly taking so long! TFTC
Cool sign and cache. No one around and nice easy find, good to stretch our legs on a fine day like this thanks for the cache.
Catching up on logging after a long christmas break. A quick find on a drive north picking up the caches that are on the way. An interesting structure and a simple find. TFTC Team Vertigo91. [1421]
